"What the-" I started as Ezra whimpered, "How does she not know about werewolves? She is a wolf I can smell it? Ezra, can you sense her wolf?"

He quickly responded, "I can sense her wolf, but she is very weak."

Rubbing my hands down my face, I quickly pulled up to the pack house. Turning off the car, I picked Pennelope up bridal style and carried her into my room. The blood stains must've been cleaned by a maid while we were at the hospital. Laying her down on the bed, I began pacing pulling at my hair.

"She thinks you're crazy. Did you see the look in her eyes?"

"Shut up! Ezra, you aren't helping. What am I going to do? I just found my mate after years, and she doesn't even know she is a wolf!"

Taking a deep breath I pulled up a chair next to the bed. I began to plan what I will say in my head, as she sleeps peacefully. I call down to Nancy, the packhouse chef, she is bring up some food for when Pennelope wakes up. She woke up with a start, frantically looking around. Quickly I held up my hands showing I mean no harm.

"Penelope, calm down! Please let me explain." she started shaking her head trying to get up, "Please, you need to rest, doctor's orders. Please, just sit down. Have some food, while I explain everything. If you still want to leave, then I will help you find a place." She tentatively nodded, and began eating the food. At first she took small bites, but then began to eat as though she was worried it would be taken away, "Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" She began to shake her head then slowly nodded.

"You don't have to talk about anything if you aren't ready yet. Were you... uh were you adopted by any chance?"

She nodded her head before clearing her throat, "Um yeah, my parents adopted Percy when he was two, and then two years later they adopted me. My birth parents died in a fire. Why does it matter?" She asked quietly.

"Okay. This explains a lot." I mumble to myself while trying to think about how to break the news to her. "This might sound crazy, but have you ever heard a voice talk to you? Did a voice start talking to you around the time you were sixteen?" her face paled and she started shaking her head.

"I'm not crazy. I'm I... I'm not crazy. I don't know what you are talking about. I don't hear any voices."

I could tell she was lying about not hearing a voice, but I could also tell she was scared. "You're not crazy. I'm not crazy either, but I am going to say something that sounds pretty crazy. Just promise you listen to everything before saying anything." she nodded again, "I'm a werewolf, and you are a werewolf. That voice you hear talking to you is your wolf. Werewolves first shift at 16, which is why the voice started to appear when you turned sixteen." she started at me terrified not believing a word I was saying. "I can prove it, just watch."

I backed up and shifted into Ezra, my large black wolf. Penelope began shaking in fear, Ezra started whimpering when her saw her scared. With his tail between his leg he began pacing the floor whining. Slowly he walked towards her in a submissive pose, and then began licking her. Slowly she pet his head catiously. Purring Ezra walked away into the closet. I quickly shifted and put clothes on before rushing out to see a stunned Penelope.

"You... You are a- a werewolf." she whispered. "And... and I'm a werewolf?"
