《Green & Grey ✔︎》Chapter 11

Landon starts the car and starts speeding through the streets.
I get my phone out and send a text to Eliot and Violet telling them I had left.
I relax into the seat and stare out the window.
About 10 minutes later he stops and gets out of the car.
Landon opens the door for me and brings his hand out for me to take.
I take my cold hand into his warm one and ignore the sparks that shock through my body.
Once he shuts the car, I take in my surroundings and see that we were in front of a really nice restaurant.
I look up and purse my lips, then glance back at him to see him looking at me already.
"Do you own this restaurant too?" I asl jokingly.
He glances at me and smirks slightly, then turns his attention to his watch.
"Yes."
He looks up from his watch and starts walking.
"Wait what?" I say in shock watching him, while his attention was focused in front of him.
He turns his head around slightly and arches a perfectly shaped eyebrow at me, and then nods his head to the direction he's walking in, making me run after him as he continues to walk.
I look around in shock.
Okay, so he's a billionaire.
Holy shit.
I take my focus from out of my head to him.
He's now talking to a guy that is standing in front of the entrance.
The man nods his head once and continues his work.
With Landon's hand in mine, he leads me up the cinderella looking stairs.
Once we make it to the top I gush at the sight.
It was a rooftop view of the city.
You could see the lights, the cars and everything in between.
We walk towards a table for two, and I notice it's only us up here.
The table is set outside with a stunning view to look at.
I couldn't help but smile brightly at this.
He lets go of my hand and I now felt cold.
I shook off the feeling and looked at him.
His silver eyes light from the glistening city lights beside us.
"Thoughts?" His masculine voice speaks nonchalant as always.
"I love it, Landon." I say truthfully and smile up at him.
His lips turn up slightly and his grey eyes have a small glint in them, but it goes away as if it was never there as soon as the waitress comes over.
I curse the waitress internally as his stone-cold facade washed back over his face.

I look away from him and turn my attention back to the view.
The waitress brings water and a bottle of alcohol that I saw him use at the club.
Once she sets it down, she turns to Landon smiling at him seductively.
"What can I get you tonight?" She says as she twirls her finger through her hair, leaning closer to him.
He completely ignores her and keeps his gaze on me.
"Number 17 for two." His voice says bluntly while looking into my eyes.
I get a form of butterflies erupt within me.
Oh lord.
I see the girl's face turn to me as she scans me from head to toe.
Uh okay, bitch.
She nods her head and goes back to wherever she came from.
I turn back to Landon to see him typing on his phone.
He turns his phone off and glances back up at me catching me staring at him.
I blush and look down at the water in my glass.
I feel his hand come underneath my chin and tilt my head upwards looking at him.
His silver eyes stare at me as his other hand reaches my cheek and cups it in his large hand.
He rubs his thumb over my cheekbone and whispers huskily.
"Beautiful."
I smile softly and look down at the table with a blush.
He removes his hands as a small smirk appears on his lips.
He leans back on his chair and takes the glass to his plump lips.
I watch him, as his eyes lay on mine still.
"So how many places do you own?" I ask now curious.
He shrugs and places his glass down.
"Multiple." His deep voice now slightly raspy.
He turns his head up to the sky and just stares at it.
"Hmm, so you're a billionaire " I ask smugly while smiling at him.
With his head still turned upwards, he looks down at me with his eyes that are now amused but his face remains blank.
He just hums in response.
He turns his head back towards me and was about to say something but the waitress comes back interrupting him.
She puts the food down and I almost start drooling at the smell.
The waitress puts Landon's food down in front of him and then puts her hand on his shoulder.
I ignore the weird pang of jealously and look down at my food.
I see Landon tense at her touch and he sends her a death-like glare.
She doesn't seem to notice and continues.
"Would you like anything else, Mr Malik?" She asks biting her lip.

"No." He says dryly and shoves her hand off of his shoulder.
I snort trying to hold in my laugh but then I break when I see her face that's now in shock.
I laugh and cover my mouth instantly.
They snap their heads towards me, the girl sending me a glare that would probably put me 6ft under the ground while Landon looks at me with amusement in his eyes.
"Just let me know if you need anything else." She says turning her attention back to Landon slightly purring.
He ignores her but suddenly puts his hand up motioning for her to come closer.
I look at him confused but his attention is now on the girl.
I see her eyes light up as she bends down slightly and leans her head down waiting for him to talk.
He licks his lips and whispers darkly.
"If I ever see you disrespect her again,
he stops and places his hand on her shoulder and continues,
you won't be just losing your job."
He says dark and coldly in her ear, she turns bright red and quickly gets up and walks away with her head down.
I just stare at him in shock as his gaze goes to mine.
I just shake my head at him and dig into the food.
I moan in delight and see his face tense and look back up to mine.
"This is amazing," I say swallowing my bite.
He stares at me amused and shakes his head.
For the rest of the dinner, we just ate and talked about random things.
I felt so at ease with him, like I could talk about whatever I wanted and he would listen.
It was now midnight and we are now making our way back to his car hand in hand.
He opened the door for me as usual and I sent him an appreciative smile.
He got into his side and leaned back into his seat.
He put one hand on the gear and one hand on the wheel as his foot pressed on the accelerator and sped off.
"Have you ever driven before?" He asks me while glancing at me then looking back to the road.
"No. I failed my driver's test three times, so I kinda gave up" I said and shrugged my shoulders.
"Of course you did." He says and rolls his eyes.
I glare at him playfully to which he just smirks at me keeping his eyes on the road.
30 minutes later we make it back to my house.
I see all the lights are turned off and I sigh thankfully that my parents aren't up.
We get out of the car and make it to my doorstep.
I turn to Landon and see him looking down at me.
I smile brightly at him and open my arms wrapping them around his waist.
He doesn't move for a second but then wraps his muscular arms around my waist making me melt.
He lays his head on top of my head and kisses it gently.
I pull back slightly and look up at him.
"Thanks for tonight, Landon." I say softly and he looks down at me.
His eyes glinting in the moonlight.
Still gazing up at him, I get up on my tippy toes and place a gentle kiss on his jaw.
I feel him tense as my lips meet with his skin.
His eyes stare down at me emotionlessly.
He licks his tongue across his bottom lip and nods at me once.
"I won't be here for the rest of the week." He says suddenly.
I feel my heart drop at his words.
I look at him confused.
"Why?" I ask him quietly.
He just stares at me blankly.
"I've got some business to do. I'll be back by Friday," he says to me his tone now slightly gentle.
"Oh, okay." I say looking down at my shoes.
I feel him come closer to me and my breath hitches as he places his lips against my ear.
"Look at me, love." His voice is soft but husky as he whispers.
I follow his wishes and turn my head towards him.
He looks down at me, he takes his hand to my face and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.
I just stare at him while he stares at me.
"I promise, I'll be back." He assures me softly as his hand cups my cheek running his thumb back and forth over my cheek.
I stare at him and nod.
"Promise?" I say holding my pinky out for him.
He rolls his eyes and takes his large pinky in mine.
"Promise."
