《The Pole Dancer》Author's Note

And here we are at the end of yet another story. If you read so far, I am grateful. I love how much we interacted on this book and you have no idea how much your comments inspired me while writing it, often giving me a different perspective.
As I seem to be revealing a small secret at the end of each story, here is a small one related to this book - It actually came to me through a dream. Yes, I practically spent a day looking at the boots on Pretty Little Thing website and my friend said they resembled 'stripper's shoes'. Funnily enough, that same night I dreamt that I was a pole dancer and there was a man requesting a lap dance. It was a very sexy and realistic dream that I had to write it down on my phone not to forget it. Eventually I came across it again and thought it would be a good idea to turn it into a book.
Being someone who loves to plan the whole book in advance, it felt very uncomfortable starting a new one based on a dream with no defined idea as to where I want it to go. All I knew is that I wanted Adrian to be a toxic but good man that you would all love, but accidentally I made you all hate him haha. And when I realised I was half way through the book with the need for some smut in it and no more inspiration, Julian came into it all. He opened a new door and that is when most of you got really excited. I didn't know who Lana would end up until the very last moment. Writing it felt like sailing on a ship with no compass and allowing the current to take me wherever it wants.

Regarding my next book, I have something in mind, but I wish to spend a few weeks reading. I stopped doing it which limited my vocabulary and I must open myself to new ideas and styles. But hopefully within a month my next book will be published.
And once again, thank you all for reading, I hope you loved this book as much as I loved writing it. Please share your final opinions. Xo
