[Adam's POV]

"The call is forwarded to the.." I cut off the line and I can't stop worrying when Nea is not picking up her phone. It's not like she's in class because she's got no class today and I quickly dialed up William since he's in Boston.

"Hello," William said on the other line.

"Hey, is Nea there with you?"

"Nea? No, she's at home. I'm on my way to have lunch with Kris and Nea doesn't want to tag along. What's wrong Adam?"

"I called her, but she didn't pick up." I heard a sound of tire screeching and later William said, "I'm turning back, I'll call you later."

"Okay, but be safe Will."

I keep tapping on my phone, waiting for William and I can't stop looking at my phone. When there's a call from William, I quickly pick it up.

"How is she?"

"Hey, it's Kris. We are on our way to the hospital. Nea.."

"Hospital?! Why? What happened?? I'm going back to Boston right now."

"Wait! Adam!"

I cut off the line before Kris could say anything and I look at Alex who's already packing up our stuff to the car.

I was on the flight when I got a text from William saying that he had brought Nea back at the apartment and that Nea is okay only that she's malnourished. I sigh in relief, but I can't keep calm until I see her myself.

"Is Nea okay?"

I nodded as I pinch at my nose bridge, "Yeah, they are back to the apartment. I'm sorry I get panicked."

Alex patted me on the back, "I understand, if the same thing happened to Lei, I'll lose my rational too."

"I would like to see that once," I said jokingly at Alex and he laughs.

"You will be, I promise you."

"By the way, how's Lei?"

"She's great actually, and we're good, although she's busy with her duty as a doctor."

"Good, I hope I can hear good news from you guys in the near future then," I smirk and Alex shakes his head.

"It should be you guys first, I think." I just smile back in return.

I hope so too.

Alex drove back to the apartment after not long that we landed in Boston and I quickly go straight upstairs as soon as we arrived. I open up the door and I saw William and Kris are sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Where is she?"

William and Kris pointed to our room and I walk fast towards it. When I open it I found a sleeping Nea on the bed and she's actually looking pale. I sit on the edge of the bed as I stroke her hair and she opens her eye as she feels my touch on her.

"Hey, baby.." Her voice cracks and there's a slump in my heart to see her vulnerable and weak.

"Hey..how are you?"

"Good, just tired. How about you?"

"Good that I get to see you myself now."

Nea chuckles, "You're unbelievable."

I kiss her forehead, "I know, now sleep. I'll be here when you wake up."

She nodded as she falls asleep again.

Nea wakes up in my arms as she looks at me slowly while squinting her eyes.

"I'm not dreaming." She pinches my cheek and I chuckle.

"No, you're not." Nea snuggles closer as she placed her head on my chest.

"Your smell is so comforting and just by listening to your heartbeats calmed me."

"Same goes to you. Your smell, your smiles, and your presence mean so much to me, baby."

I heard Nea hums to my response and she just keeps snuggling. A second later she jolts and looks at me in the eye, "Have you eaten yet?"

I shake my head in response and she sits up, "Why don't you eat?"

"I'm waiting for you, I heard that you barely eat today."

Nea pouts and I see her tears started pooling, "Hey, hey what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm just touched."

I pull away as I scoff, "Really?" and Nea nodded.

"Where're the others?" Nea asks as we both are out of the room.

"Sleeping probably since it's almost 2 AM." I said and Nea's turns around as her eyes widen, "2 AM?"

I shushed her and I nodded. Nea punch me slowly on the shoulder, "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I couldn't when seeing your angelic sleeping face and.."

Nea rolls her eyes and I quickly change the topic, "Should we head out for pizza or Mcdonald?"

For these words, her eyes widen and I see her eyes sparkles as she nodded a few times making me chuckles. I get inside the room as I grab her coat and my things as we both walk out of the apartment.

Nea rolled down the window and as usual, she put her hands out as she feels the night air on her palm, "I love driving in the night."

"I love it too, only with you." Nea looks at me as she smiles and I can see that she's trying to say something, but she turns away quickly.

We decided to dine in as soon as we arrived at the Mcd that is open 24 hours. Nea picked a spot next to the window on the second floor and I brought her food to her. Ned digs in her burgers and she even orders Mcflurry oreo, I can see how hungry she is as I eat mine.

"Oh yeah, I look at the meds that the doctor gave you and I asks Leia about it if it's good for you.."

I saw Nea's eyes wavering as she looks at me, warily.

".. and she just laughs out loud... Saying I'm too paranoid and it is good for you, especially in your condition. What condition? I thought the doctor said you're fine."

Nea finishes up her burger as I wait for her replies, "I am fine, and I do forget we have a doctor in the family. Did Leia tell you anything?"

I shake my head, "No she just said whatever needs to be said is only from you, she's not the one to tell anything, but she asks me to say this to you, 'Whatever happened you, Nea, is Adam's other half and I, Adam, is Nea's other half. Don't do anything regretful or else feel my wrath'"

Nea laughs as she shakes her head, "That's exactly Leia the Alpha." and I smile agreeing to Nea.

"I can't keep this as a secret then.." Nea says as she looks at me in the eye, "I thought I wanted to keep this a secret for the time being and think of a way to tell you, but I'm more afraid of Lei. So here's goes nothing.."

I gulped down air as I look at Nea's serious face and a second later she smiles brightly, "I'm pregnant! You're going to be a dad."

I couldn't digest what she had been saying, but then my eyes widen after I comprehend her words and I feel tears rolling on my cheeks. Nea laughs as she comes to hug me and I hug her waist while she strokes my hair slowly.

"I can see the baby is affecting you instead of me, you're getting sensitive day by day," Nea said and I pull away to see her face.

"As long as you had it easy, I can take anything, be it morning sickness or any other."

Nea cupped my face as she leans in, "We'll be in this together."

I cupped her face as I pull her to me and our lips touch each other in warm and happy kisses as we celebrate the addition of happiness in our life.

Mini Nea or Mini Adam... I guess both are also okay.
