I couldn't help but grin as Kieran slept below me, with my head on his bare chest. I was officially his Luna, our packs were now one.

I closed my eyes, reminiscing in the endeavors last night and the early hours of the morning held.

I didn't think it possible that so much love and pleasure could be caused by one person. I rubbed my neck where Kieran placed his mark last night, it was a tad sore still, but it was made with the best intent.

I opened my eyes at the sound of Kieran's deep baritone of a laugh.

"Good morning my darling Luna." He said.

I looked down at him and kissed his lips softly.

"Good morning Alpha Kieran." I said.

He smirked.

I chuckled and read the clock as three minutes past noon.

"Good afternoon." I corrected.

"We should probably get up before they send a search party for you. " he whispered.

"Oh, I'm pretty sure you're sister has that covered. She's the one who helped me plan my seduction." I said with a grin.

"You do realize that means that the entire pack must now by now." He said.

"I strangely don't care." I said and shrugged.

Kieran grinned at my answer, chuckling when my stomach growled.

"Shower, darling?" He asked.

I nodded and squealed when I was suddenly being carried over Kieran's shoulder and his bare butt was in my face.

I chuckled to my self, I could definitely get use to this.

After a while I came out the shower, laughing at Kieran as I ran out, leaving him in need of another shower, preferably one of a colder temperature.

I walked downstairs after putting on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt.

I cleared my throat, seeing everyone in the kitchen as they ate a lunch of finger sandwiches and mixed fruits.

My mothers eyes found mine and she flashed me a knowing smile, hiding it successfully just as my father walked in.

"Well Good afternoon Luna Charlotte." My father said looking at me from across the room.

Well shit, they all knew.

I reddened and as if on cue a bare chested Kieran walked into sight, and if his huge grin wasn't a tell all, the claw marks on his shoulder blades were a dead giveaway.

"Well damn." Alina said at the sight of her brothers back.

Kieran grinned and sent me a wink.

"Congratulations is what they're all trying to say." Elise said smiling.

"She's just saying that because she wants grand pups already." Alina said.

I had not even thought of that. I knew I definitely wanted a family one day and a big one, because I hated being an only child, but I just didn't know if I was quite ready.

"You do want pups right? At least one. Please for me." Elise said quietly.

"I definitely want pups. I always loved the idea of having a big family. " I said.

I didn't fail to notice how Kieran smiled at my answer as he served us plates.

Elise smiled at my answer and I chuckled.

We all turned as Daniel walked in, smiling briefly before he bowed to Kieran and I.

"Alpha, Luna, there is a small cluster of wolves and women approaching from the east side of the territory. Also, Vivian is running amuck, cursing and threatening members of the pack." Daniel spoke.

"I'll handle Vivian, Kieran, you go handle the wolves." I said as I put my hair into a bun.

"Charlotte, if she hurts you I'm-

"Oh ye of little faith. I've had to defend myself my entire life Kieran, if it comes to a fight I can handle my own. I love you." I said and kissed his lips momentarily before jogging outside with Alina.

The sun was out and the thin layer of snow on the ground was melting.

I heard her growl before I saw her.

I flew back as Vivian's body collided with mine.

I chuckled as she swung at me, her weak miscalculated blows barely grazing my face.

I tucked my feet under her, shoving her backwards as I used them to catapult her back.

I stood up quickly, positioning myself for her attack.

I wanted this over quickly, I honestly hated having to hurt people, but some people just need their asses handed to them.

I waited as she advanced quickly , ducking past her arms and bringing my fist across her face as hard as I could.

I listened as her face made a sickening crack as my fist collided with her nose, blood gushing onto my fist on impact and she hit the floor.

She screamed as she held her nose and stood up, whining as she walked away.

I heard Alina's gasp, and an unfamiliar scent hit my nose as if on cue and I whipped my head to the side to see a group of nearly naked men approaching, obviously lead by a dark haired man who I knew was an Alpha, but didn't even hold a candle to Kieran in either looks or strength.

I growled at the, Alina's own growl echoing mine.

"You are intruding on Lupin territory, who are you and what is your business here?" I questioned.

"I am Alpha Aarons , We've heard rumor of a female shifter amongst your lands. I am here to claim her as my own." He said firmly.

I felt Alina's tension through our bond, she was my second and I could sense her nerves at having to hold her title as Daniel held his position with Kieran. And mostly because the female he spoke of was myself.

"Where did you hear this rumor?" I asked.

I watched as he stood quiet, one of his men speaking up.

"You dare question our Alpha without showing him the proper respect?" The man growled and made a step towards me.

"Touch her and you die. " I heard in a venom soaked voice, Kieran's deep baritone holding promise in his words.

I turned to see Kieran walking from behind me, his jaw line taught.

He stood next to me, his eyes glancing over me quickly and I nodded once, reassuring him that I was fine.

He turned his attention to the man who questioned me.

"You dare to question my mate and Luna? You will learn to silence your mouth in the midst of a higher ranked wolf or I will rid you of your tongue. Only because my Luna is here will I spare you. Know your place." Kieran growled.

I watched as the man fell back into line behind his Alpha, eyes wide with fear that Kieran would stay true to his word.

"Now what is your business here?" I asked.

"I would like to make a trade for the female shifter. I know she must be amongst your pack, for it is the largest. I will trade three of my finest women for her."

I stepped to the side, peering behind him,

I was appalled at the state of the women, if you could even call them that, the oldest couldn't have been more than fifteen.

"There will be no trade, for the woman you seek is not a shifter. You were mistaken." Kieran said.

I couldn't just leave the girls.

I gripped Kieran's hand and he squeezed it reassuringly, but I knew the man wasn't just going to hand them over without a little persuasion.

"Please, leave the girls in my pack, save you the trouble on the journey back home." Kieran said.

"Not without a trade. I know that shifters here, to see a woman shift would be something, I never thought the bitches were strong enough." The man said chuckling.

I wanted to hit him so bad. I could feel the anger itching below my skin, urging me to shift.

I felt Kieran squeeze my hand lightly.

"Do it." He whispered.

I smirked as I released his hand, growling as I let my shift take over my body, sprouting into my dark brown wolf.

I watched as the guys stepped back, surprise evident on their faces, fear etched on some at my shocking size. Had they expected the female to be weak?

I growled, feeling my hackles rise as the men tensed. I circled around Kieran, stopping behind his large frame to shift human, Alina immediately placing a shirt over my head and handing me shorts I quickly slid on.

I crossed my arms as I stared at the men.

I knew why Kieran told me to do it. Aarons and his men were small in numbers, but they were the entire pack.

The women were his means of trying to build a powerful pack. He would use them as bargaining chips, or most likely to breed.

Kieran wasn't going to let him walk away.

Aarons wouldn't live to see another day.
