_________
The next few days flew by too fast, and it was time to go home.
The car ride home was way more relaxed then the one there. Tyler and Jace seemed to be more civil and in agreement with each other, but they still weren't perfect.
"Come on Tyler, you gotta admit I have a nice bod." Jace said, running his hands down his abs.
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Your bod may be nice, but you have a flat ass." Tyler snorted.
"Lexi's ass is nice enough for the both of us." Jace smirked, knowing that would get him.
"Why you little-"
"Ty, there are kids in the car." I hushed.
When we finally got back in town, I dropped Tyler home and then the Johnsons and I went to their house.
As we walked through the door, Jace looked at his watch, "I have to go to a friends house for a team party, I shouldn't be gone too long."
"Ok," I said, "Do you need a ride?"
"No, I can drive myself, thanks though," Jace said and grabbed the keys before hopping in his car.
...
It was 2 in the morning when my phone started ringing.
"Hello...?" I mumbled into the phone.
"Is thisss Lexxxx?" Slurred Jace on the other line. This made me immediately sit up. "Jace what are you doing still out? And are you drunk?"
"A litlllllllle bit," he said.
"Ok Jace," I said taking a deep breath, "I want you to tell me where you are."
"I started driving homeeee, but I stopped... at a gas station," he slurred.
"What gas station?" I asked calmly.
"Uhhhh The shell."
"The one by school?" I asked and slid on a sweatshirt.

"Yeah I think sooo..."
"Jace... I'm on my way, don't move I'll be there in 10 minutes," I demanded and ran down the stairs and drove as fast as I could to the gas station.
When I got there, Jace was sitting in the car. I pulled up next to him, got out, and opened the door for him.
"What the hell do think your doing Jace?" I scolded and led him to my car. Once he was safely in the passengers seat I went back to his car, and locked it sense it was going to be here all night.
I drove back to the house and led Jace up to his room. I decided I wasn't going to question him until he was sobered up so I gave him a glass of water and he fell asleep on top of his covers.
I sighed and threw a blanket on top of him and went back to sleep myself.
...
"Lex? What's wrong with Jacey?" Whispered Hallie, waking me up.
"What do you mean?" I asked and sat up "is he awake?"
"Yeah, he asked me to come get you, he said he has a headache," she said in a worried tone.
I sighed and got out of bed. "You can go downstairs and watch TV, I'll take care of him. "
"Ok!" She exclaimed, immediately forgetting about the situation at hand when tv was mentioned.
I went to the bathroom and got Jace a glass of water and walked into his room.
"What the heck were you thinking?" I asked barging in.
"Jesus, not so loud I have a headache," Jace groaned.
"Too bad, you lied about where you were going and you were drunk off your ass," I scolded.

"I'm sorry I got in a fight at the party and I was supper pissed so I ended up going to the bridge.... it was a mistake and I'm sorry," he whispered.
"The bridge?" I asked with an eye roll, "I thought we were past that."
When Jace didn't answer, I asked another question, "what was the fight about?"
"Nothing important," he finally answered.
"It obviously was important if you had to leave the party and get wasted because of it."
"Lex, I'm sorry, can we just drop it?" He pleaded.
"It must have been pretty messed up if you can't even tell...." I started.
"Lax it was about you," jace interrupted, finally breaking.
"What?" I asked, a little shocked, "why did you get in a fight about me?"
"A few guys were talking about you and I sense you are my girlfriend now and told them to back off," Jace explained and then stood up with a wince and walked over to his closet.
He took off his shirt that he was wearing last night, revealing his sculpted stomach, and grabbed a clean one.
When he was done, he looked at me, waiting for me to say something.
"What exactly were they saying about me?"
"They were just saying things that really upset me now that your my girlfriend.... now that your mine," he said and took a deep breath," I really don't want to talk about it anymore."
"Ok," I whispered, " I understand ".
"Are you ok?" He asked as he walked over and put his arms around me.
"Yeah," I said and pulled away, "from now on I don't care what people say, don't ever do that again."
"Yes ma'am," he mocked.
I glared at him and he snickered.
"I'm going to take a shower now, so you might want to leave unless you're planning on joining me," he smirked.
"Tempting," I rolled my eyes and kissed him on the cheek before leaving his room.
