Amanda's POV

"Baba ndinoloyiko , intombhi yethu has been in this bed for weeks now" (baba I fear, our daughter has been in this bed for weeks now ) I heard a voice say from a distance.

"Kuzolunga nkosikazi , my Nana is a strong woman. She wouldn't be a Gaffley if she wasn't ." (All is going to be well my wife ) I heard another voice say but this time, this one was familiar . The annoying beeping sound doesn't go unnoticed this time too, where was I ?

" He's right Mrs Gaffley, I've known Amanda for a short period of time but one thing that she has embanded in my mind is that she's a strong bitch ! I mean no one can mes- "

"DE'ARRA !!! " I heard a male voi- De'arra ? DE' ARRA ? SHE'S HERE ! I tried to move my arm but it was stiff, like the rest of my body. I slowly peeled my eyes open before shutting them closed again finding hard to adjust to the light. I opened my eyes again and let them adjust to the light before scanning the room. This definitely is a hospital room, I know a hospital smell very well but that explains the beeping sound. My eyes suddenly landed on my father, who had an arm wrapped around my mother and Ken was kneeling before her with his hands joined with my mother's and De'arra had her head on my mother's shoulder and my mom leaned her head on top of De'arra's both sobbing. They all just looked miserable, shattered even.

"Baba " I said nearly above a whisper . My throat was dry as a desert so I struggled getting words out or maybe it was the oxygen mask that was covering my mouth. I tried reaching for the glass of water beside me but it was so heavy for me to carry so it tipped over and shattered on the floor and that seemed to get everyone's attention because they all turned to me, instantly running towards my bed side.

"Oh umntanam Thixo ! Enkosi mdhali, enkosi Bawo. My baby girl, how are you ?" (Oh God, my child ! Thank you lord.) my mom asked while holding my one hand with the biggest smile on her face with tears still coming out of her eyes.

I only smiled at her still unable to say anything.

" Nanga amanzi ntombhi yam " my father said holding a glass of water with a straw in it and he assisted me with drinking the water since I could barely use my arms or hands.

"Enkosi Tata" I said softly before turning to look at De'arra and Ken . De'arra had big puffy red eyes, similar to my mom's. I'm surprised she's here after our last fall out, that just goes to show how much of an amazing person and friend she was. I started sobbing while looking at her and she instantly left Ken's embrace and leaned in to hug me, and held me for dear life while whispering "It's okay " in my ear. I burst into tears while reminiscing what I've been through, I never thought I'd see my family again , I thought I'd die in Russia and also that Leona-

"Where's Leonardo ? " I asked while looking around, he could've at least been here, it's his fault I'm even in this situation.

"Oh that sweet young man." my mom said with a hand on her chest , what ?

"Sweet ?" I asked puzzled while looking between my parents and De'arra and Ken.

"Yes, Leonardo Reigns your boss right ?" my father asked and I nodded, " That young man is so kind hearted " I - who ?

"Leonardo ? " I asked while looking at De'arra waiting for confirmation, my parents must have mistaken someone else for Leonardo but De'arra knew him.

"Yes him. He called me immediately after your crash since I'm on your emergency contact list at work and told me to meet him at the hospital. He asked me for your parent's details and I gave them to him" De'arra said as she massaged my sculp gently , crash ?

"Yes and he contacted us and told us about your car accident, oko ndinga fanga mntanam. He flew both me and your father here and he took care of our accommodation and your hospital bills. I'm so grateful to that young man and his family." my mom smiled still sobbing .

" Car accident ? " that piece of shit, I should've known that he'd protect himself and the rest of his family. Typical ! Ken turned to face De'arra and my parents before answering

" Yes Mandy, you were involved in a car accident and like the doctor predicted, you'd have trouble remembering. " Ken looked at me with sympathy before offering me a tight smile.

"Right , car accident ! Did he- my boss come here ?" I asked before closing my eyes trying to keep a cool head.

"Yes ! Yes , he's been here this whole time. Him and his family, they visit but mostly in the afternoon ." my dad said while nodding his head

" And I finally got to meet Mia, she's actually a fun person. The whole 4 weeks that she has been here, we'd talk about ho- " my eyes instantly snapped open and stared at De'arra

" 4 weeks ? Wh-how long have I been here ? " I asked, nearly screaming at them

" Something close to a... Month ? " Ken said looking at my father for confirmation and my dad nodded before turning to look at me.

"Speaking of let me call the doctor " my father said before kissing me on my forehead and exited the room.

"I'll go get us food, I'll be back sweetheart. Umama uyaku thanda sana lwam vah ?" (Mommy loves you my child, okay ?) my mom said, I nodded before she kissed me on the cheek .

"I'll come with Mama , you'll need help with all of that food." Ken said leaving De'arra side and walked towards my mother.

"Thank you mababy" my mom said Ken's hand , "you made some good friends Amanda, I approve " she said before winking at me causing all of us to chuckle before leaving with Ken out of the room. I immediately turned to De'arra

"Thank you for being here, I'm surprised you're here after what happened the last time we saw each other. I'm sorry D, I don't know wh- " I said before De'arra cut me off

"It's okay Mandy , it's nobody's fault because we both said some dumb shit that day but no matter how many fallouts we have, I'd never leave your side in your time of need. I love you Amanda , come here " she said leaning in for a hug and I tried my best to hug her back.

" I love you so much D " I said tears coming out of eyes, after a minute we pulled back and she wiped the tears off my face. The door opened and a doctor walked in.

" Good morning Ms Gaffley , I'm Dr. Paul it's good to see you back in the land of the living " he said grinning causing De'arra to snicker

"You can say that again Doctor " she said smiling at me , I shook my head at her before turning to look at the doctor

"Thank you Doctor, where's my father ?" I said looking between him and the door

"Mr Gaffley ? He said he had to use the bathroom." he said while paging through what I'm assuming is my folder.

"Oh okay " I nodded waiting for him to tell me why my body felt stiff.

" Ms Gaffley... 2 broken ribs, punctured lung , dislocated elbow joint and a concussion in the head. Don't worry, everything is already starting to get back in place and you and the baby are going to be just fine " my heart beat escalated real quick

"THE BABY ???" me and De'arra said at the same time while looking at the Doctor like he had 3 heads.

"Yes... the baby ! Ms Gaffley you're 5 weeks pregnant or rather 1 month pregnant, congratulations " the doctor said smiling at me and in less than a minute, I started having a panic attack . My heart was beating fast and I started having trouble with breathing .

" AMANDA CALM DOWN ! BREATHE, JUST BREATHE ! BREATHE AMANDA. " De'arra said clearly panicking too. The doctor put the oxygen mask over my mouth and my breathing started to get stable. My chest carved in and out as tears ran down either side of my face. I laid back on the bed and tried to catch my breath.

" Amanda please calm down, it's okay. Calm down " the doctor said while De'arra fanned me with my folder. I saw the doctor inject something into my drip before my eyes started to slowly close. No ! this can not be happening, I can not be pregnant outside of marriage but mostly I can't be pregnant with Leonardo's child, a Reigns child ? God No.

"Don't tell my parents, De'arra don't let him " that was the last thing I said before passing out.

Well, the cat is out of the bag ! Sis is pregnant and I feel sorry for her but I'm definitely happy that she's pregnant. De'arra is such an amazing friend , omg. ❤️
