《His baby girl》18.

I woke up and stretch my hands above my head. I look over to where Daire normally sleeps at night and see it's empty. It wasn't unusual so I shrug my shoulders and get out of bed. I walk over to my closet because I had to get ready for Levi's math competition.
"Hey baby," Someone said opening my door.
I cover my hands over my chest since I was in nothing but my bra and shorts. But I sigh in relief when I see it's just daddy. "Yeah?" I asked as I looked through my closet. He steps inside the room and closes the door behind him. "I was wondering if you knew what time Levi's math thing is?" He asked scratching his beard.
I look at him. "Either five or six but I was gonna go at 5:30 to be on the safe side," I bite my lip and looked over the shirt in my hand. "Okay, so I have enough time," He whispers to himself. "Thank you, baby and that shirt would look lovely on you." He smiles and kisses my cheek.
He walks out the door and closes it.
I look at the shirt and smile. It would look nice on me.
I brush my long black hair and puts it in a high ponytail. I wrap a cream scrunchie around the ponytail. I then grab the necklace Daire gave me and place it around my neck. I also grab some rings that Daire just left on my dresser.
I walk over to my dolls and dress them in light pink dresses. I braided Paula and Louisana's hair and put them back down on the chair.
"Good morning, Willow," Daire said walking into the room. He smelt of smoke and daddy's cologne. "Good morning, Darry," I walk over and wrap my arms around his waist. He smiles down at me and wraps his arms around me. "I like your ponytail, babe," He said running his fingers through my hair. "Such long and pretty hair."
I blush and look down at his outfit.
"You like nice," I said biting my lip. He shrugs his shoulder. "I look how I look every day," He said. I giggle and pull on his jacket. "And your favorite jacket." He smiles at me and nods. "Yeah, my favorite jacket."
"Come on let's go downstairs and eat something," He said taking my hand and walking us to the kitchen. "Have you had breakfast yet?" I asked. He nods his head. "Yeah, I had some cereal." We walk to the kitchen where Carter stood shirtless and drinking some coffee.
"Good morning, Carter," I said sitting down in my chair with the pink cushion. "Hey, Willy, want some waffles?" He asked placing some waffles in front of me.
"Thank you," I said sticking in the soggy waffles. I take a bite and hum in delight. I eat my breakfast as Carter and Daire talk about boy things. I could care less about cars and whatever other things boys liked.
Levi walks into the room fixing the bow tie that was around his collar. "Do you think I look nice," He asked standing in front of Carter. Carter looks him over and shakes his head. "Lee, you were never good at tying anything." He walks over to him and fixes his tie. "Remember you didn't know how to tie your shoes until you were 11."

Daire snorts at this. "Shut up," Levi mumbles. I frown at Daire. "I couldn't tie my shoes until I was 11 either. Daddy and Carter had to my shoes for a long time or I just wore velcro or buckle shoes." I cross my arms over my chest and huff. Daire smirks at me. "But that's cute for you, bud, but embarrassing for Levi."
Carter pats Levi on the back. "Now you look nice," He said ruffling Levi's neatly combed hair. "Hey, dude I just comb my hair," He huffs fixing it.
Carter chuckles and lightly punches him in his arm.
Levi looks around the small room. "Where's dad?" He asked. Carter shrugs and turns the sink on. "He said something about needing to run some errands and will be back later." Levi sighs. "Do you think he'll come to my math competition later?" I smile. "Yeah he will, he can't miss it."
Levi smiles sadly and looks at his watch. "Hey Carter put on a shirt, they said we had to meet a few hours before the completion to prepare," He said. He rushes over to me and kisses my head. "I'll see you there, Will," He runs out the kitchen and out the house.
Carter rolls his eyes. "I'll pick you up at four, Willy," He said and walks out of the kitchen. A few minutes later we hear the front door close.
I look at Daire. "Can we walk down to the park and spend the morning there?" I asked picking up some shoes that were randomly thrown on the floor in the kitchen. "I don't just wanna spend my day in here, and plus we have a party to go to," I said biting my lip.
"Okay sure," He said stuffing his hands in his pockets.
We walk outside and down the street in comfortable silence.
After walking for a while the town's park comes into view. I lightly jog towards the slide where three little kids were playing at. I smile and wave at them. "Hey what are you guys playing?" I asked looking at them. A girl with red curly hair and braces smiles at me. "We're playing pokemon cards," She shows me a few cards. "And I'm winning cause I got the best cards!" A little boy with wavy blonde hair and cartoon sharks on his shirt yelled.
I smile at the kids and look at their cards. "That looks fun," I said biting my lip. The three young kids smile at me. "You're really pretty?" The redhead girl said to me. I smile at her. "You too, I'm Willow," I said holding my hand out. She takes it and shakes. "I'm Alyssa and this is my little brother Oliver and my best friend, Issac," She said pointing to the two boys.
"Nice to meet all of you," I look behind me and see Daire on a bench talking on his phone. "That's my friend Daire," I said.
For almost an hour I talk and play with the young kids. I became really close to Alyssa and her brother Oliver who I called Olly. Issac just flirted with me the entire time. But Alyssa had invited me to her 12th birthday party that was going to happen at the arcade in our small town. I told her I would totally be there.
"Alyssa Rue, Oliver Maine, let's go I have a hair appointment in an hour," A woman with long dark red yelled over. She was wearing a short black dress and high heels. She looks like a hooker that had money.

"Okay," She yells back. She sighs and gets on the swing that we were sitting on. "We're spending the weekend with our mom," She said grabbing Oliver's shark backpack off the ground. "We live with our dad and stepmom and see our mom every other weekend." She grabs Olly's hand and waves at me. "I'll see you at my party right, Willow?" She asked. I bite my lip and nod frantically. "I made a promise and I never break my promises," I said.
She smiles and opens her mouth to say something but her mom interrupts her. "Alyssa Rue, Please come on, Jay is waiting for us," She yells.
"Bye," Alyssa waves at me again and jogs over to her mom with Issac hot on her heel.
"Bud, come on we have to get back home," Daire said wrapping his arm around my waist. He kisses my temple and starts walking me back to my house.
Once we get home I rush inside and sit in front of the fan. I was burning hot even though it was Fall it was hot outside.
"Hey baby," Daddy said placing his hand on my shoulder. "Take a look at this," He said showing some a box with a game system in it. "He's been asking for it for a while. He said xboxs are out of style and ps4s are the new thing." He smiles and places the heavy box on the couch. "I wanted to get him something for his competition I heard that this is the beginning of the championship or whatever you call it."
I smile at daddy. "He's gonna be really happy with it," I said. "I hope so, I'm pretty sure he thinks I hate him or something." He shrugs and walks outside. I watch him take a cigarette from his pocket and light it.
"I always felt like Levi hated Graham," Daire said from behind me. I turn to him and shrug my shoulders. "I don't know why, it's like they always had back and forth beef with each other."
I bend down and pick up Cotton that was laying there. "I'm gonna go get something to eat before we leave," I said walking into the kitchen as Cotton scratched at me. "Babe, that cat hates getting picked up, put the piece of shit down," Daire said tugging on my ponytail. I gasp and hug Cotton closer to me but dodge his paw that was so close to my face. "Don't call him that, that's how he shows his love."
I place Cotton down and he runs out the room.
I walk over to our fridge and grab some turkey, some mayonnaise, and lettuce. I grab some wheat bread from the counter and a knife. "Do you want some?" I asked Daire. He walks over to me and nods his head. I smile and begin making our sandwiches. As I finish I hand him his sandwich on a paper plate. He mumbles a thank you before taking a large bite from my sandwich.
"Okay, Willy, Imma head to the school," He kisses my forehead and pats Daire on the back. I smile and wave at him. I couldn't talk since my mouth was stuffed with the sandwich.
Daire and I eat in silence for a while. Once we finish Carter comes into the room with Landon behind him. "Hey Landon," I said hugging the large boy. "Hey, Will," He said petting my head. He moves away from me and grabs some Oreos off the counter. "Come on, Will we don't wanna be late," Carter said grabbing a sprite from the fridge. "Daire you coming with us?" Daire nods and grabs his jacket that he threw on the chair.
"Alright come on," Carter said walking out the house with everyone falling behind him. Daire and I sit and the back while Carter and Landon sit in the front.
We drive for 16 minutes before we finally pulled into the somewhat packed parking lot of our school.
Daire opens the door get-outs before walking to my side and opening the door for me. He grabs my hand and helps me out.
"Wow, Mr.Gentelmen over here," Landon mocks as he gets out of the car. I roll my eyes and grab Daire's hand.
"I hope Levi's team win," I said as we walked away from the two men. Daire shrugs his shoulders. "I don't get what's so special about math competition anyways." He said. "I don't know but you're really good at math, you should do it," I said swinging our hands back and forth. Daire chuckles and shakes his head. "Yeah no."
We walk until we walk into the school auditorium. We looked around the room and sees daddy sitting alone with a few empty seats around him. I smile and pull Daire towards daddy. Daddy looks up and smiles at me. "Hey, Will," He said. "Hi, daddy," I said as I sat next to him.
We sit there for a few minutes and both Carter and Landon join us at that time. We wait and wait for the competition to start.
Finally, the announcer starts talking and congratulating all the persistence. He told everyone this was the last competition and out of the six teams that were here today only two were going to the championship.
We clap and sat watching the boring show. Finally, it was Levi's team's turn. It was good and Levi and his team had won every team except for one and came in second place. They were going to the champions. And they even got a large trophy to prove it.
After the show, we waited outside the auditorium for Levi.
When he came out he had the biggest smile on his face and his arm wrapped around Justina's shoulder. He walked up to us and stop looking at each of us.
"Daire, Daddy?" He said surprised. "I wasn't expecting you two to come," He said. Daddy grins and looks down at his run-down shoes. "Why wouldn't I?"He said. He walks over to Levi and pats his back. Levi smiles small at daddy. "Thanks, Dad," He said.
Levi frowns at Daire. "And you?" He asked. "I came here for Willow," He said wrapping his arm around my waist. Levi rolls his eyes and smiles at me. "Hey, Willy," He said. "Hi," I say back. Daddy places his hand on Levi's shoulder. "Hey, dude, come home with me I have a gift for you," He said grinning at him from ear to ear. Levi smiles at him and looks at Justina. "I'll see you later okay?" Justina rolls her eyes and walks away.
He sighs but looks back at daddy. "Okay let's go."
They walk away leaving the rest of us standing here. I turn to Daire and smile at him. "Come on we have to get to the party," I take his hand and walk us out of the building.
We get in Carter's car and wait for the two men to arrive. Once they do we drive off home.
I get out of the car and rush inside to my room. Daire walks in only seconds later. "Baby the party started an hour ago," He said sitting down on my bed. "And? You can turn up to a party any time you want." I said going through my closet.
Daire chuckles and lays back on my bed. "I might have to return home in a few days." My eyes widen and I turn towards him. "You can't go back," I said biting my lip nervously. "I have to I can't stay away forever and plus half of my things are still there. If I want to move out fully I need to get my things."
I sigh. "Can I come with you?" I asked. He nods his head. "Yeah, I would love that."
