《Little Bite Luna》*Dusty*

Its been almost a week since I've seen Artemis. It wasn't on purpose, but Dad was getting suspicious on why I stayed out so late that he grounded me...

He still hasn't apologized for his rude comment about me being like mom. But with the level of pride he has, I don't think he will anytime soon.

"I will be back in the morning. I need Amanda in bed by 8 and you two-" He pointed two fingers at us then to his eyes then back at us. "I don't need any mischief coming from either one of you got it?"

Adrian nodded and I saluted. He rolled his eyes. "Goodnight." He closed the door and we waited until he pulled the Car out of the driveway before running into the living room.

"Give it to me!" I whispered yell. My hands were wrapped tightly around half the remote while Adrian's was wrapped around the other half.

"No! I said I was going to watch the game tonight!" He hissed back, tugging it to him. I pulled it back.

"Oh please. You eat, breathe, and sleep the game! Fuck off and watch it on your phone!"

"If I have to watch it on my phone why don't you do the same!"

"No! I do more shit around here than you do!"

"Fuck no. You've been out and about with god knows who. And I know it ain't Olivia because I seen her in the past 10 parties this month."

I rolled my eyes. "You know just because you dressed up as dad that one time doesn't mean you have to act like one!"

"And just because your busy all the time doesn't mean you have to leave us like mom did!"

I dropped the remote out of surprise and shock.

I blinked back the burning tears threatening to fall from my eyes and swallowed hard as I blinked furiously.

"Anita I-"

I shook my head sniffing. "N-no. Everyone thinks I'm like mom because I have shit to do! Well guess what?! Who is the one buying the groceries? Who is the one actually sitting down and spending time with Amanda? Who is the one who doesn't know what to do with her life but everything is put on her. My little sister wants to spend time with me, my father is too busy at work too see that I'm struggling in class. I have no idea what I want to do with myself, Your too busy with your fucked up football and banging between hairy ass pussies! And When I do one thing wrong, or actually wants to spend time with myself, I'm the bad guy."

I chuckled. "Well guess what? If you guys really think I'm mom? Then I might as well start acting like her and just leave. How about that? Then you guys can really yell at me and say, "Your just like mom"

"Aniela-"

"Oh fuck off."

I flipped the finger and stormed off into my room, slamming the door hard not giving one care in the world.

I flopped my self onto the bed, my face buried in a pillow and cried myself to sleep that night.

And you said you have my back mom... So where are you?

~

I managed to lie to dad and say I have to help tutor someone due to my "Amazing" Grades.

But really I was Sitting in between Artemis legs, his nose buried in my neck as he sniffs me constantly.

I was still getting used to this whole, Alpha, werewolf, mate shit but I think i'm getting the hang of it.

I am actually enjoying the attention i'm getting from Artemis and the love.

"Soo... I was thinking I could introduce you to the pack?" His voice was muffled because he refused to leave my neck. I giggled at the ticklish feeling.

"I can't hear you silly."

He lifted his face and pressed his chin on my shoulder. "Come and meet the pack. Let them put a face to there Luna."

I sighed. "Artemis I don't know.. I'm still not ready and i'm only 17."

"Yes but I can sense you will be an amazing Luna."

"How do you know that? Not only am I human, but I have a lot of baggage to carry for myself. I don't need the weight of knowing over 5000 wolves are counting on me to help protect them."

I could feel the tension in the air.

"HEY FUCK OFF! IT'S MY HOUSE!" A voice yelled.

"ALPHA XAVIER GAVE IT TOO ME!" Another voice yelled.

"WELL BETA THOMAS GAVE IT TO ME!"

Artemis and I quickly stood up and ran outside to where the voices were coming from.

We saw a lady and 2 little kids and a man arguing. The kids were holding each other while the lady -I'm assuming there mother- Argued with the gentleman before her.

"What is going on here?" Artemis voice changed from the calm voice too a booming voice that sent everyone around us in a still position.

The two turn to us and starting speaking at once.

"ENOUGH!" Artemis boomed. I flinched and stepped back. His head snapped towards me and I shook my head, letting him know I'm fine. He seemed hesitant before looking at the two then back at me.

He glanced at the two then back at me and I knew what he was saying.

I shook my head and mouthed, "No."

He sighed and walked to me, picking me up as if I didn't weight shit and placed me before him, stepping back. The lady who had red hair, with greying roots and the guy who had shaggy brown hair and blue eyes watched me in curiosity.

"This is Luna Anita. I will be allowing her to take your matter into her hands. Please excuse me while I go finish up the pack work."

I glared at Artemis and he winked before rushing back into the house.

"Yeah you better run punk." I whispered, cracking my knuckles.

"Luna?"

I remembered where I was and turned back to the two. I gulped.

I cleared my throat and gave them a smile. "So... What seems to be the problem here?"

They started speaking at once, giving me a headache. "Stop!"

I raised a hands and sighed. "Ladies first."

"My kids and I need a place to stay since my current house-" She pointed off into a far distance, "-Is under renovations. But When I asked Alpha Xavier a few days ago for a house he gave me the house number 389 which was currently not occupied. But he came out of nowhere and claimed it to be his."

I looked at brown hair guy. "Your name?"

"Ollie Luna."

"Please just call me Anita."

"Ok Lu- Anita."

I smiled. "What's your side of the story?"

"I am a training warrior member and I asked Beta Thomas for a house to stay in, he gave me number 389 as well I suppose. But I was here first!"

And the arguing begins...

I sighed. "Where is Thomas now?" I questioned.

"You called me Anita?"

I looked behind me to see Thomas with a plate filled of cookies. I rolled my eyes and turned to him.

"You gave Ollie permission to take this house 389?"

Thomas glanced at Ollie and the lady then at her kids then back at me. "Yeah. Why?"

"Apparently You and Artemis gave it up at the same time. Is there any more houses available?"

Thomas shook his head. His eyes turned foggy and I stared at them in awe. Then it flashed back to its original hazel.

"I just mind linked Jason. He's the Warrior pack leader." I nodded.

Soon a tall man in All black came up to us. He had blonde hair in a navy cut style and piercing blue eyes. "What's up?"

"This is Our Luna."

Jason looked at me and bowed. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance Luna."

"No need for all that. Just call Me Anita."

He smiled. "Ok Anita."

I returned it. "So there's no available homes for these two?"

Jason glanced behind me and shook his head. "We have a total of 10,000 houses all in our local area. We take up a lot of land due to the fact its a special type of pack. Those houses are all filled, and we are in need of more land."

My eyes widen. I sputtered. "10,000!"

He gave me a small chuckle. "Its a war pack, We're very big and takes up lots of space."

I rubbed my head. I will kill you Artemis. "We do have a Open land down the pathway cutting through the woods, but it's in terrible need of renovations. It's houses are built like us. An Alpha house in the middle and little houses surrounding it. The only problem is-"

"It needs to be redone and fixed over for the pack too move in." I answered. "May I check it out?"

Thomas raised a brow but nodded. I looked at Ollie and the lady.

"Ollie, she has two kids and no place to go. May she please just take the house and you can live in the Alpha house until further notice? I will try my very best to give you a house that is new and fresh. How does that sound?"

Ollie gave me a smile and nodded. "I will take whatever I can get Anita."

I thanked him and They made they went there separate ways.

Thomas looked down at me. "Wow, And you said your not ready for the luna Position."

I sighed. "Just shut it and show me the land."

~

We stumbled through the dark woods, and eventually found a clearing. It was a neighborhood with tons of large two-story houses towering over us. They were painted a Dark Royal Blue with bits of gold splattered everywhere. It seemed as if the paint was peeling off from the looks of it.

The all looked identical and had two windows on either side of each house. I looked around my unfamiliar surroundings and noticed a house that was different from the rest.

It stood out with before all of them and was placed in the middle, all the little houses surrounding it, as if guarding it from any harm.

The house was 2 stories higher than the rest, I could see this from the extra 3 windows that the other houses did not have. It was a dark shade of grey and some moss was hanging from it, veins dancing around the grey bricked house. It looked sad and something about it gave me shivers.

I knew this is the Alpha's house. Or was the Alpha's house.

"Did this land belong to anyone?" I asked Thomas watching the house.

"No." He answered. "At least not that we know of. We stumbled upon it and Xavier agreed to move some of the trees and make a pathway to connect this place to the Territory we already have."

I nodded.

I looked at the door as we walked in and noticed the delicate patterns on the stained glass windows. The door was painted a Emerald Green with a shiny golden door knob which made it stand out from the outside.

I let my fingers traced the Wolf markings on the glass and continued looking around.

The hallway was dark, no lights shining through. A cold chilly breeze blew and I started rubbing my arms. As we walked further down, I noticed a tiny bit of light escaping through a patched up crack in the wall. The sun found it's way through the crack but only lit up a small amount of the house.

I tapped my feet off the rustic oak floorboards and looked around, tracing my fingers on any object I can find. There wasn't much too look around at. The halls were painted a greyish color, noticeable mold leaking through. The stench was killing my nose and I covered my nostrils with the back of my hands.

As I turned the corner, I guess I landed in what used to be the Living room.

There was a Black maybe 16 inch Television. I saw my reflection in it, but it was cracked and broken. There, in front of it was a tattered old cream couch. It looked as if something had sunken it's teeth into the leather fabric and teared off a huge chunk. It didn't look modern either. Looked about created in the early 80's and hasn't been replaced since. I guess that's the answer on how old this house is.

The walls were painted white, but the amount of stains on it, you might as well call it a different color. There were holes the sizes of fist twice my size in the walls and it reminded me of the time Artemis punched the wall when I was new too all of this.

I still am. The memory made me think on why I am even here... but I remembered the faces of the two little kids and that gotten me my answer.

I glanced down at the cluttered floor beneath me and kicked a empty can of Pepsi across the room and stepped over a shattered beer bottle laying there.

There was a arm chair in the corner, same style as the teared up couch, but it also had a little destruction of it's own. It was on it's side with holes punched in, you could see the cobwebs surrounding it.

"LUNA!"

"YEAH?" I called out in annoyance. I told them to call me Anita.

"JUST MAKING SURE YOUR STILL HERE!"

"STILL HERE."

I walked through the open doors and found a window sitting at the top clouded with condensation. I pulled my sleeve up and wiped it revealing a wide open field outback that possibly stretched out for miles out into the dark forest. This would be perfect to build more houses for more families...

I found myself smiling at the thought. But I frowned at the sight.

It looked lifeless, The grass that was no longer green and vibrate was tall and bushy, turning dry and old from here. Some parts looks either trampled or snapped so many times it just couldn't grow back.

I turned and walked out back into the hallway.

I craned my neck up and on the molding ceiling was a little brown door.

Huh. A attic?

Curiosity filled me as I looked around for a ladder or booster of any sorts to reach there.

My inner thoughts spoke. I rolled my eyes still searching.

I looked through the empty rooms, filled with graffiti or broken glasses or just trash but not one ladder in sight.

When I checked the last room, I was relieved to find a metal one, covered in dried up white paint. I looked around to see half the room in white and the other half in a rusty looking color.

It was odd seeing that the other room's were trashed and full of garbage, yet someone actually put in effort to start painting this room...

But I suppose this whole house was odd so I shouldn't expect anything out of the unordinary.

I struggled to carry the Heavy 7 ft ladder, and ended up dragging it against the floor, adding more damage to the floor boards.

I winced at the trail of scrapings I created and sighed.

This whole house is damaged no one would notice right?

I soon prompt the ladder up under neath the attic door and started climbing. I tugged on the small thread and it popped open a ladder falling out, making me fall down the ladder.

I slammed against the floor, groaning in pain.

I opened my eyes and raised my arms to block my face, seeing as the metal ladder was falling over me.

I screamed.

When I didn't feel anything, I opened my eyes too see Jason standing there, holding up the ladder, his back facing me. He looked behind him and down at me, his arms stretched out before him.

"You ok tiny?"

I nodded, too out of breath to comment on the nickname. He pushed the ladder back up and it stumbled sideways but steadied itself on its feet.

I helped move the ladder against the wall, the Attic one just there waiting for someone to climb up.

"I'mma go check it out. Where's Thomas?"

"He went to inform Xavier where we were. He could of use mindlink but Xavier was blocking him out.

"What's mindlink?"

"Its a telepathy connection all werewolves have with there pack members. So I can contact Xavier right now without talking or anything and just speak to him through my mind."

"So that's why your eyes turn foggy?"

He chuckled. "Yeah."

"Will I be able to do that?"

"Mm, not really no. You would be able to hear Only Xavier's thoughts but that's about it. Now if you weren't human then surely yes you would." He smiled at me. "Let's go check out the attic? I didn't know there was one."

I nodded and made my way up to the ceiling.

Once my head was sticking into the attic, I pushed myself up, my fingers curling under the board,

Ugh.

It smelt rusty and old and cobwebs were in my face. I spit out failing my hands all over my trying to get the web out of my mouth.

"Yuck." I spat.

I hate spiders! If there's one on me I will freak!

"Is there a spider on me?!"

"Uh..."

"Get it off me!" I screeched. Jason laughed as I danced around shaking my head.

"There never was one. Calm down."

I sighed and shot him a glare. "It isn't funny! I hate bugs!"

He laughed and shook his head in amusement.

I suddenly caught a glimpse of a reflection by the window. I walked over, ducking my head for the first time in my life, so I wouldn't bump my head on the low roof.

I noticed it was a Blue hard covered book with a metal locking attached to a chain wrapped around it.

It was just dangling there, a symbol of a moon crescent. I traced my fingers over the markings on the book. It was dusty so I blew it off, coughing in the process.

It was beautiful, the designs and patterns catching my eyes.

I looked around for a key but found nothing.

"Look what I found." I turn to show Jason the book. He took it from my hands and looked at it.

"Looks... Ancient. Old."

"Can I keep it?"

He looked at me, one brow raised. "Uh sure."

I smiled and pressed the book against my chest. He laughed lightly at the sight and turned around looking around once again.

The outline of the pages were crisp and yellow, indicating it was obviously old. Looks older than this house.

I didn't get a chance to observe more because I heard Thomas voice yelling down from us to get a move on.

Jason and I hurried down the ladder and ran outside to see Thomas and Xavier standing there, arms folded.

Xavier ran to me and started hugging me but when he looked down at me he sneezed.

"Your covered in dust. Where were you?"

"In the attic." I smiled. "You said to be a Luna. I guess Luna's get dirty once in a while."

His eyes twinkled with adoration as he looked down and me and shook his head.

"Let's go Dusty."
