《Lost Without You (A werewolf romance)》Epilogue

Amelia Hunters
I sighed, leaning back on the arm chair, looking at the lake. Rubbing my now visible baby bump. Lincoln was at the training grounds as usual.
It's been seven years since Lincoln and I married. While his parents still resided at the pack house, we stayed here at the cottage. Usually during the weekends, we would go there and spend quality time with the pack members and lots of time with the little pups. Lincoln usually worked from there, while I went to the hospital. Since my pregnancy though, I've been forced to stay at home, by my parents and husband of course.
A quiet laugh, leaves my lips as I think of Lincoln. All the hindrance we got through to be together. To have built the love we have for each other. One could never forget.
The Blood Hunters pack has now stretched further to the east and west. Lincoln had taken The Forest Howls pack and The Silver Moon pack under our wing to oversee their situations. And over time the packs merged with ours.
"Lunch is ready Mia." Penny sang from the kitchen. When we moved into the cottage, she was the only maid I brought with me. Penny has become family to us now.
With a deep breath, I stood up making my way to the dining hall. "I bet the little one's hungry." She laughed and I nodded in return.
After helping Penny set the table. It was time for my boys to have lunch.
"Mike, Raf, Gabe!" I called to my pups who played by the lake.
Gabriel the youngest of the triplets, ran in first. He had a cheeky grin before handing me a handmade bouquet of tulips. "Here comes mama's boy." Penny laughed. No matter how many times I've asked him not to pick the gardens flowers, my little pup doesn't listen.
"Do they smell nice ma?" He sat on his chair, with his big hazel eyes staring into mine with excitement.

"They do Gabe, thank you my love." I kissed his forehead, ruffling his thick curly light brown hair.
"Ma, I muddied my shirt. I promise to wash it all by myself." Raf, walked in looking absolutely dirty. He was the mischievous one out of the lot. Always up to something behind his father's back. He might have gotten in trouble for pulling pranks on his dad too. But with those dark raven locks and honey hazel eyes, he seemed to have escaped Lincoln's pique. Lincoln often tells me how much Raphael's features resembled mine. "Clean up before lunch Raf." I said and he obliged, running upstairs to his room.
The back door slammed shut and then arrived my eldest, Michael. A lopsided smile, with the dark brown hair slightly sun-bleached. He had Lincoln's greyish green eyes. His little chest heaving up and down as if he's been running. Michael was the responsible one. Being the eldest, he's beginning to be very protective over his brothers and his soon to be arriving baby sister. "Seems like someone had a good run." I raised my eyebrows at him.
"Dad said the more I practice and the better I get, he'll let me run with Kai." Michael's eyes twinkled with delight.
"Hey baby Bella." He spoke to my stomach before sitting down.
"Mike, It's not Bella, call her Izzy." Gabe pouted. Earning a chuckle from penny and I.
"She's not a dog Gabe." Michael replied. "Bella it is, which means beautiful. Right mum?" He looked at me. I nodded, we decided to name our little girl Isabella Hunters.
A roaring sound of a car entered into the driveway, instantly grabbing everyone's attention.
"DAD'S HOME!" Raphael yelled while running down the stairs to the entrance. On queue Michael and Gabriel followed. Leaving me behind.
Penny had already left to the kitchen.
I made my way to the foyer, listening to the ruckus between the boys and their dad. I laughed loudly when Lincoln entered the house. With Gabe seated on his shoulders. Raf clung to his leg, like a monkey leaving Lincoln to leap ahead. While he held Michael by the shoulder, who kept him updated how much aced in running today.

"Baby?" He called out as soon as he saw me.
"Lunch is waiting boys." I shooed the pups away. Walking up to my mate, I circled my arms around his neck.
He pecked my lips, "how's my princess doing?" He cooed rubbing my belly. Lincoln's eyes widen when the baby moved. "She kicked!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah she missed her dad I guess." I giggled.
"I can't wait to see you my precious." He bent down kissing belly, before coming up to me.
"Did you miss me Luna?" I hummed positively, Lincoln began to kiss me and I kissed him back.
"So much." I whispered in between our kisses.
"Yeah?" He rested his forehead on mine. Eyeing me with hunger.
"Yes." I bit his bottom lip.
"We gotta do something about that now." He rasped, his eyes filled with lust. He ran his nose down my neck and left a wet kiss on his mark.
I pressed my legs together, feeling aroused by his presence and words. Can we blame that on the pregnancy hormones?
"L- lunch is ready?" I said, which sounded more like a question.
He chuckled at my baffled state. After many years and this man still had that effect on me. "I wanna take you to the room."
"Why?" I whispered, knowing what he was thinking about.
"You want me to say it?" He narrowed his eyes at me. I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded.
"I wanna fuck you like-"
"Mom, Raf spilled the pasta on your favourite rug." Michael hollered for me to gasp.
"Oh goddess no!" I rushed to the dining hall. With a crabby Alpha following me.
~~~~~~
Our most evenings were spent, with Kai and Heera playing with the boys. But since I've been pregnant with Isabella, Heera hasn't asked to shift. She's been nurturing the little one from inside.
So I watched from my bedroom balcony as Kai ran with the boys. Gabe and Raf, slowed down and began tumbling down a grassy slope bursting into laughter.
While Michael kept up with the pace Kai ran at. It wasn't the wolf's fastest, but he was giving the pup a chance. To catch up. Which Michael surely did.
Once they had finished their lap, Kai let out a small bark looking up at me. I nodded before making my way to the backyard. He approached me as I sat on the bench with a sigh. Kai licked my face and then letting me snuggle onto his fur for awhile, till the little ones played.
~~~~~
It was finally bedtime, I smiled as I lastly pulled up Raf's blanket. They were tucked into bed and fast asleep. Turning off the light, I glanced their way through the little gap between the frame and the door. Everyday I'd thank the moon goddess for such precious moments.
Lincoln's large warm hands, gently rubbed my waist making me rest my head on his shoulder.
"Tired baby?" He whispered, trying not to disturb the boys.
"Yeah." I smiled before softly closing their bedroom door.
"Let me take you to bed then." He picked me up in his arms.
"I love you Lincoln." I rested over his chest, feeling his beating heart.
"I love you more Mia. So very much."
