《Giving Them The World ✔》12

Ever since Alisha woke up from a bad memory I can tell she hasn't been sleeping. It's been a week since then and I don't know how to help her. The only time I get some type of sleep is when the girls lay down for a nap in my room. I walk into the living room with Freya. Freya gives Alisha a bright smile.
"Hey snuggle bug," Freya says. Alisha gives her a glare for calling her, snuggle bug. I guess she doesn't like to be called that.
"Why does she call you, snuggle bug?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. Alisha lets out a sigh as Freya laughed a little before telling me.
"Alisha could never go a few minutes without snuggling whoever was in the room with her" Freya gave me a small smirk.
"I'm past that," Alisha says with a scowl. Freya raises her eyebrow with an even bigger smirk. Alisha had moved closer to me as I sat down on the couch and she didn't even realize it.
"Are you sure about that?" Freya motions between Alisha and I. Her eyes widened slightly as she realized she was snuggled up to me. Alisha let out a huff when she realized she snuggled up to me without even noticing.
"What, how did that happen?" Alisha asked, pushing herself away from me.
"You did it when he sat down next to you" Freya laughed. Alisha gave her sister a small glare before going back to my side. I don't mind how she always snuggles up to me when I sit next to her. I feel like I have a better chance at protecting her when she is this close than when she isn't.
"Not trying to sound rude but what are you doing here?" Alisha asked looking at her sister expectantly.
"I'm here to get the girls so they can spend the night with their aunts and uncle" Freya gave Alisha a bright smile.
"Alright but since you just showed up out of the blue and didn't ask me if you could take them you have to get them Bathed before bed" Freya nods her head before getting up to leave. I watch her walk up the stairs before shifting my gaze to Alisha. Alisha had leaned her head into my side halfway through talking with her sister. My phone started to vibrate in my pocket.
"Alright, I will see you in the morning" I muttered when my phone buzzed again. I let Alisha get off of me before I stand up. I lean down and give her a kiss on the forehead before walking away. I pull my phone out of my pocket when I get to the door. I open the door feeling the night breeze hit my skin.
"What's going on Phillip?" I called him back after I didn't get the chance to answer the first few times he called.

"So we have a woman who overheard us making a deal with Jax," Phillip says nervously into the phone.
"Why are you calling, you know what to do," I say walking to my car. I had a feeling my gang was going to need me tonight.
"You're gonna want to see this," Phillip mutters.
"Alright I'm on my way" I hang up the phone, letting out a deep sigh.
After I shut my door I sent Alisha a text telling her I was going to be at work tonight. I buckle up before I start the car and take off. The drive to the warehouse was about 20 minutes. Once I see the driveway to the warehouse I slow down.
The warehouse had most of all the lights on. I park my car in my spot before taking the key and get out of the car. As I walk up to the door Phillip walks out. He had a confused look on his face as he waited for me by the door.
"What's up?" I ask walking through the door with Phillip following behind me.
"The woman isn't just any woman," He says, taking the lead and leading me to the basement.
"What do you mean by isn't just any woman?" I say walking through the guarded basement door. The basement is where we keep people who have crossed us. We just haven't gotten around to killing them because we are getting information out of them.
I stop in my tracks when I see my younger sister, Mara is in one of the cells. My sister has been missing for 4 years. She was 17 when she disappeared. I can't believe she really is alive. I guess I just refused to believe until she was in front of me. I have eyes everywhere in this town and my men have seen her walking around a few times. I just thought they were seeing someone who resembled her. I got to have more trust in my members.
"Emilio! Let me out of this cell right now!" She screeched. My eyes narrow at her.
"You don't get to order me around" I laugh. "What were you doing on that side of town?" I raise an eyebrow as I walk closer to the cell she was being held in. Mara looked taken back and I knew she was gonna lie. It's what she does best.
"I was working," She muttered, looking me right in the eye. She never looks me in the eyes when lying. So she either has gotten a whole lot better at lying or she's telling the truth. I let out a sigh. She's telling the truth there were no other signs she does when lying.
"Let her out" I ordered Phillip. Phillip nods his head while grabbing the key from his pocket. He unlocks Mara's cell and she walks out slowly eyeing me.

"That's it, you're just gonna let me go?" I nod my head before walking out of the basement. I could hear Mara scrambling after me.
"What happened to you? You're not yourself. Your old self would be back there demanding where I was and why I disappeared" Mara says following behind me.
"I don't care where you were, you clearly didn't want to stick around and I'm not going to force you to so see ya go back to where you ran off to" I spit out.
"No, I don't want to go back not now," She says following me to my car. I open my door and slam it shut. Mara gets in the passenger seat shutting her door. I let out a groan but started the car and drove to my house. Once I park in the driveway I get out with Mara following me.
"Come on you can't just leave me out here Emilio!" Mara screeched as I slammed the door shut behind me. She started pounding on the door. My eyes darken as I realize Alisha must be sleeping. I whip the door open grabbing Mara's arm and dragged her inside.
"Shut up and sit on the couch" I grit out when I see Alisha walking down the stairs rubbing her eyes. I rush over to her.
"What's going on?" She yawned. I smile at how cute she is when she is just waking up.
"Nothing to worry about. How about I make you some hot tea" I say leading her to the kitchen. Mara was too busy flipping through channels to notice us. I put water in a cup and put it in the microwave before turning it on.
"Emilio! Are you seriously ignoring me right now!" Mara shouts from the living room. I pinch the bridge of my nose while letting out a sigh. I'm starting to regret missing her.
"No Mara the world doesn't revolve around you so go back to where you ran off to" I snap keeping my back to her. Alisha looks at me with wide curious eyes.
"No not until you talk to me about this"
"What's there to talk about Mara. You ran away from home when you were 17. You don't get to just come back because my men caught you snooping"
"I wasn't snooping, I was working" Mara huffed.
"Mara I don't care just get out" I raised my voice causing Alisha to become tense. I sent her an apologetic look.
"I just want to say sorry" Mara's voice goes quiet.
"I'm not the one who you should be apologizing to and I don't think a sorry will cut it for mom," I say turning around to look at her.
"I'm sure mom will be fine when she sees me," Mara said with a smirk. I shake my head turning around to grab Alisha's cup out of the microwave. I put a tea bag in and dunk it a few times while leaving the tea bag in the cup as I passed it to Alisha.
"Mom hates you, Mara. She hates you because she doesn't get why you ran away from a loving household. She doesn't want to see you because she doesn't want to feel hurt again when you run away to god knows who. You don't get to see her because trust me you will leave again. I won't let you hurt her a second time" I glare at her.
"She can't hate me," Mara says. I give her a smirk.
"She does, she turned her love for you to hate so it wouldn't hurt her that you ran away from her. Now get out" I say motioning towards the door. Mara looks at me before shifting her gaze to Alisha.
I slam my hand down on the counter causing Mara to look at me. "You don't get to look at her" I commanded. Mara nods her head before heading toward the door. I let out a deep breath and turned to Alisha.
Alisha sat there quietly on a bar stool while she sipped on her tea. Her arms would occasionally rest on the counter. I can tell my loud voice scared her. I walk over to Alisha and wrap my arms around her waist. I rest my head on her shoulder. I take in her sweet scent that calms me almost instantly.
I place a kiss on her neck causing her to shiver. I smile against her skin before placing a few more kisses on her neck before I release her. I wait patiently for Alisha to finish her tea.
After a few more sips Alisha gets up and puts the tea bag in the trash and the cup next to the sink.
"Come on let's get to bed," I say holding out my hand for her. Alisha grabs my hand and I lead her up to my room. Alisha casually climbs into my bed like it belonged to her. I smile at the thought of her having a spot on my bed. I take my shirt off. I grab some underwear and shorts before heading to the bathroom. I take a quick shower.
I put my clothes on and head back into the bedroom. Alisha was almost hidden in the blankets. I head over to the other side of the bed and get in. Alisha instantly curls up into my side. My arms wrap around her protectively. I place a kiss on her head.
"Good night Emilio," Alisha whispers, placing a kiss on my bare chest.
"Good night Alisha" I whisper back.
