《Mr. Harsh & Her》Chapter 14

Rachel's POV

I pushed open the door and 4 pairs of eyes were on me. I didn't like attention so I felt uncomfortable on a whole other level.

Alexander walked forward and extended his had to me which I accepted. He had a pleased look on his face and he looked dapper in his wedding tux. His cologne was extra strong and his usual messy hair was combed back neatly.

He led me to the round table and pulled the chair opened for me to take a seat and he sat down next to me. His bodyguards were across us and the lawyer next to him.

"So Mr. Viotto and Miss Harrison," the lawyer began, "It's relatively simple and would barely take 5 minutes. I simply need both of you signatures here and Jock and Lev would serve as your witnesses." He slid the document towards Alexander and he swiftly took out a pen and signed on the allocated line.

"Perfect, now for you Miss Harrison," he gestured for me to sign.

Alexander gave me the pen and I was slow in my action to sign it. I don't know why I was taking so long but eventually I did sign at the allocated line.

"And there we have it," the lawyer said and took the document, carefully placing it in a secure folder. "Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Viotto. I wish you a prosperous marriage."

Alexander helped me up and held the train of my dress for me as we began to exited the room.

"Thank you, Stefano," Alexander thanked him and shook his hand heartily.

Jock and Lev exited the room after the lawyer so it was only me and Alexander left. My dress train was still in his hand but out of nowhere he brought forth a bouquet of blush pink and white roses.

He handed it to me and admired me for a minute. "You look like an angel, princess. More beautiful and stunning that I could ever imagine. Here you go," he handed the bouquet to me.

I took the roses in my hands and held them tightly. "Thank you," I whispered for both his compliment and the roses. I looked up at him. "You look dapper in your tux as well." He smiled at my compliment and ushered me out the room.

He guided me to the chapel where the doors were closed but I could hear the shuffling of people inside. He let go of my dress train and went behind to neatly adjust it for me.

"Who's walking me down the aisle? Or will I be walking alone?"

He finished sort my dress out and stood next to me. "I'm walking you down the aisle. We're walking together." I looked at him a little apprehensively but slightly nodded.

He held out his arm and I placed my hand through his.

The door opened and soft music was playing. We walked together in sync but there was nobody to really watch us. Only the pastor and Jock and Lev as our witnesses.

We made it to the priest and Alexander requested for the formalities to be speeded up. It was the time to put the ring on my finger and he got out a remarkable princess cut diamond ring.

I placed his wedding band on his finger and the priest announced us as man and wife. Without even wasting a second, Alexander grabbed my face and gave me an earth-shattering kiss. Again, I didn't kiss him back and he did all the work. He pulled back and softly kissed my forehead at which I blushed like a little rose and looked down.

He turned me around and I saw a 3-tier wedding cake waiting to be cut. There was a photographer present and he made us do various poses in the garden before we got to the cake.

We both held the knife together and sliced through it, feeding each other a small piece at the end. Alexander then got a champagne bottle out and shook it, waiting for huge pop to come as the cork would fly in the air.

He poured all of us a glass and Jock and Lev finally came to congratulate him. I held the glass of champagne in my hand and wasn't too sure to drink it. I've never drank before. However, he snaked his arm around my waist and clinked his glass with mine.

He urged me to take a sip claiming that it was in fact a celebration. After a little while I began to feel tired and Alexander noticed. It wasn't that late though. Only a little past 5pm.

"Let's leave now," he said and looked at his wristwatch. "The house isn't that far away, around a 45-minute drive, but I'd like to take a slow drive today."

I nodded at him and bent down to pick up my dress train and gather it up in my hands. I bid goodbye to Lev and Jock and gave them a slight wave as we left.

Out in front was a sleek white BMW and I was surprised to find that Alexander opted to drive that instead of something sporty. I sat in and got comfortable while he started reversing. I removed my small veil and set it in the back seat. Unknowingly I started to doze off on the ride to the house and I woke up when the car stopped.

"Oh sorry," I mumbled patting my cheeks attempting to get some energy back in me. Alexander stepped out and so did I.

I was met with a beautiful glass house that had an equally beautiful pool. It was breathtaking and I really couldn't believe that I would be staying here. The Ashford mansion was huge with every room that you could think of, but this house was more homely. I quite liked the fact that it wasn't gigantic.

Alexander took my hand and walked with me inside. He told me to walk around and explore while he would be waiting there in the kitchen.

I made my way back to him with a smile. I saw him drinking a glass of whiskey from the bar and stood in awe at the massive display. "This place is stunning!" I exclaimed. I really can't believe that I would be living here. The transition from a shoebox size apartment to an actual house amazed me.

"I'm glad to know that you like it but bear in mind that this is not our forever home, Rachel," he said seriously.

I frowned at that. I went to sit by him at the bar but before I did, I rummaged through the under bench bar fridge and found a can of Sprite.

"Why isn't this out forever home? It's so spectacular," I beamed in awe. It was everything out of a magazine.

Alexander shook his head. "I do not want to live any near the Ashford estate, I refuse to live in the same state even. We're only staying here for a few months until I get all my shit sorted. When I'm done, we leave," he stated firmly.

I took a sip of my sprite and internally burped. "Well where would we move? Where is your home?"

He looked at the ground as his face slightly fell. "I don't really have a place that I can call home. I live in various countries throughout the year. I do own houses all over the place, so I move as I please," he looked a little lost as he said that.

"As for where we would move, that is completely up to you however just not anywhere near the Ashford Estate. We could build a house from scratch or move into a house I already own. We could move to another country, or we could travel throughout the years and maybe settle when we can no longer walk. Completely up to you princess. Whatever you want."

Alexander took of his tux blazer and rolled up his shirt sleeves. I sighed at him.

"I have so many questions to ask you. I really don't understand you."
