I go straight home and do my homework because the nerd in me is still there. I text the girls and ask them if they want to have dinner with me and the guys they all say yes immediately and they are going to pick me up.

After I freshen up, Vanessa texts me saying they are in the driveway. I quickly grabs my purse and go downstairs. I Lock up and walk to Vanessa car getting in the backseat with Kayla .

"Hiii" I greet them as I climb in

"I'm so hungry" shay says dramatic like

"Guess who I saw?" I tell them

"Who?" they say at the same time

"That Jacob guy that I met at that party we went too" I smirk

"No way!" Kayla squeals

"He was so cute" Vanessa giggles

"He asked me out" I tell them

"You go girl!" shay says

"Yeah but he asked me out in front of Josh and will it was kind of embarrassing" I laugh

"O my god that hilarious" shay laughs

"I bet Josh was jealous" Kayla nudges my shoulder I roll my eyes

We drive up to the restaurant. we all get out and walk inside I look around and see the guys in the corner booth.

"There they are" I say to the girls, we head over to there table

"Hey boys" I say once we walk up to there table, they look up at me

"What are you doing here?" Caleb asks me rudely

"I invite her" Josh tells Caleb

"And I invited them" Will winks at the girls they start giggling I roll my eyes at them

We sit down, I sit next to Josh.

"You won't even know we are here" I tell Caleb giggling a little

"I'm starving" shay says

"Me too" I agree

"You look nice today" Josh whispers in my ear which catches me off guard

"Uh thanks" I give him a small smile, he smiles back

"I think I'm going to get a double cheeseburger with bacon and fries and a chocolate malt" Kayla decide

"Wow Kayla that's all" Caleb snickers

"Shut the hell up!" she snaps

"I think I'll get the veggie burger" I say out loud

"Veggie burger?" Josh asks looking at me confused

"Yeah I don't eat meat anymore" I tell him

"Since when?"

"About a year ago" I shrug

"I didn't know" he says looking off

"There's a lot you don't know about me" I say softly

"I guess so" he whispers

We all start digging into our food like we've never ate before.

"Stop eating my fries Caleb!" Kayla tell him

"I ate all mine" he pouts

"Sorry fatass these are mine" she take a hand full of fries and stuff it in her mouth

"Such a lady" Caleb laugh

"So have you guys known each other your whole life's?"Vanessa says about me, Kayla, Caleb and Josh

"I've known Kayla since I was 5" I say

"It was love at first sight" Kayla winks

"what about me?" Caleb smirks at her

"Yeah you were cool back then you use to play dress up with us" Kayla says laughing Caleb face goes red

"I moved here when I was 7" Josh says

"How did you meet them"shay asks him

"We were neighbors" Caleb says

"I actually met Elena first"Josh nudges my shoulder smiling at me

"Yeah we were friends first" I smile "He moved in next door to us and I saw him playing in the front yard by himself and I went over there to play with him"

"When did you meet Caleb?"shay asks

"Like a couple weeks later" Caleb tell her

"Yeah he was always hanging with the other neighborhood kids or kids from school, but he was home one day and saw us playing together and he joined" I say, I used to feel like Caleb took Josh away from me because after we got older they would go play by themselves or Caleb would tell me to leave, but Josh would hangout with me without Caleb or sometimes he would tell Caleb that I could play with them.

as the years went on he became more of Caleb's friend, but he would still talk to me and we would hangout once in a while. every time he was at the house he would come upstairs and talk to me for bit. he did care about me he was protective too which made me feel good but then I would think it's probably because he sees me as a sister.
