Today Issac and I are making Dark raspberry cream and dark scotchmallow hearts.

"What time did you leave last night Vaylin?"

"Too late." I laughed.

"That's what I figured. You know I can handle some of this to take the pressure off of you."

"I appreciate that Issac. So umm last night when I got home I had this weird note taped to my door."

"What did it say?"

"It was a secret admirer note but I don't think it was for me."

"Well, why not?"

"Because it said something about the memories we used to make and I know it's not an ex."

"You never know it very well could be." He laughed.

"I think it was put on my door by mistake."

"Guess you will find out if anymore show up."

"Oh no I didn't think of that."

Hailey walks up. "Morning guys! Vaylin do you want me to start on the heart box candy?"

"Yes please, that would be very helpful while we get these two made."

"Sure thing boss." She smiled.

A few minutes later a loud noise got our attention when Ali walked in. "Hey, guys I came for my egg nog truffles."

"I have you some in a box in the freezer."

"Thanks so much, VV I will grab them and then I gotta get going I have a meeting this morning over at Kingston Paper."

"Good luck! Love ya!"

By the time lunchtime came around, I went to my office and sit down, and laid my head on my desk.

I'm so tired and maybe a small nap is in order. The next thing I know someone is shaking me and Issac is laughing.

"Wake up sleepyhead."

"Sorry, what's up?"

"There is a man outside wanting to speak to you.."

"Hmm ok?"

I walked out front and a little old frail man on a cane was standing at the counter smiling.

"Hi, there!"

"Hey, little lady! I was a friend of Santiago and I thought your grandfather made the best chocolate around until I tried your egg nog truffle."

"Oh thank you so much! I used to just make them at Christmas time but people ask for them so much I keep them on the menu year-round."

"Oh well I am your number one fan and I come to buy some." He smiled.

"Elena give him some on the house in a nice fancy box will ya?"

"Sure." She smiled.

"Oh, you didn't have to do that I just wanted to see Santiago's granddaughter." He grinned.

"It's nice to meet you." I smiled.

"Your grandmother Edna she was something else as well and you remind me of her."

"Thank you! I hear that a lot."

A little while later I walked back to where Issac was and then check on the raspberry cream hearts that were in the freezer.

I had decided to go home early because Ali is coming over and we are going to watch the new sex in the city movie and drink lots of wine.

Issac said he would finish what he was doing and lock up for the night.

I got in my car and headed home. When I walked up to my door there was another note taped to my door.

What the hell? I take the note off of my door and walk in and set my stuff down.

I changed into something comfy and walked back over to the envelope. Let's see what the mystery person has to say this time.

I read over the words again. I really don't think these are for me.

My doorbell rang and I opened it and Ali was holding up two bottles of wine.

I got out the wine glasses and showed Ali my two letters.

"It doesn't make no sense VV. Like who did you share chocolate with?"

"I have no idea but I think they are putting it on the wrong door."

"Maybe you should write a note back and explain that."

"Yeah, maybe I should because whoever it's supposed to go to isn't getting them."

We sit down on the couch and start the movie and laugh and cry and polish off the first bottle of wine.

By the time the movie went off we had finished the second bottle and were giggling.

"Why don't you stay over because you are too drunk to drive."

"Sounds good VV can I borrow some PJs and a bed?"

"Yes to both!" I laughed getting up and finding her some clothes and opened the door to the extra room for her.

"Nite bitch." She laughed.

"Nite Ali."

I couldn't help but laugh as I got in bed. I really needed that night with my best friend.

The next morning I got up early and took a shower and got ready for work.

The door was still shut to the room Ali was in so I left her a note and remembered to write a note to put on the door for the secret admirer.

Dear Secret Admirer,

Even though I am flattered by your notes every day on my door I do believe that you have the wrong house.

I really hope you find who you are looking for!

I grab the tape and put it on the door and then head on to work.

When I walked in Issac was already on it. "I know today is those turtle clusters boss so I am getting us started."

"I don't know what I would do without you, Issac." I smiled.

I sit my purse down and grabbed an apron and helped him stir up the chocolate.

Elena walked back with a note. "So there is a business who wants 100 heart boxes of assorted chocolate. Do you want me to pass this off to Hailey?"

"That would be great! Thanks, Elena."

I look over at Issac and he is blushing.

"Umm, what's going on with your face? Do you like her?"

"Maybe." He smirked.
