"If you could do one last thing, right now, before dying, what would you do?" Kian asked and I smiled.

"I would definitely make you deep throat a banana so you can choke on it so bad that you die. Like I've said before" I said and he rolled his eyes.

"Then we would die together and you would have to still deal with me"

"Yeah, but at least I'd die with the satisfaction of seeing you do that" Zane was laughing so hard that he choked on air. Don't ask me how.

Ellie and Oliver walked inside the room and stared at me. Did I do something wrong? Are they going to kick me out of the house? Oh shit.

"Brynn. We need to talk" Oliver said and I sighed.

"Here it comes. Don't worry, I'll pack my things up now. I'll be gone by tomorrow" I said and Ellie's eyes widened.

"No! We're not kicking you out! We love you" she exclaimed and I let out a breath.

"I was scared for a second"

"The thing is, Maria, the social worker who took care of you, is going to be here in around two hours. We need to have a long conversation about something important" Oliver explained and I smiled at the thought of Maria.

I missed her a lot.

"What is it that we are going to talk about?" I asked.

"You are going to be interested on it. Just wait" Ellie said and I nodded.

Zane stared at me and so did Kian.

"I have a feeling this has to do something with your biological family" Zane said, softly and I nodded.

"I know"

"You'll be alright" Kian said and I smiled.

"So...about that banana"

"Suck a dick!" Kian yelled and I started laughing.

What could Maria possibly want to talk to me about? I just really hope it has nothing to do with my biological mom, because I don't want to see her. The moment she disowned me, she stopped being my mom. She became a stranger.

I hugged Zane and he hugged me back. Ezra walked inside the room and raised an eyebrow.

"Since when is Zane a softie?" He asked snd Zane glared at him.

"I will beat the fuck out of you if you keep annoying me" He threatened and Ezra walked towards the kitchen with his hands up in the air.

"Feeling the love!" Ezra yelled before walking inside the kitchen.

Two hours passed and Maria arrived. I ran up to her a hugged her tight. I missed her. She took care of me for so long. She became family to me.

"It's been so long. I missed you, Brynn" She said and I nodded.

"I missed you too" I said and she smiled.

"I only came here to tell you good news" She said and I let out a breath.

"Thanks God. I thought you were taking me back to North Carolina" I said and she chuckled.

It's not that I didn't like North Carolina, because I did. I just got used to being here. I got used to waking up to Ezra jumping in my bed and to Kian yelling. I got used to brush my teeth while Zane takes a shower. I just found a family here, and I didn't want to give it all up.

I love Ellie and Oliver. I love Angela and James. I love Ezra and Zane. Hell, I even love Kian and Theo. I just don't ever want to leave.

"Okay, if you're planning on taking my sister back to wherever the hell she came from, I won't allow it. She's my sister and it's my job to annoy her until the day she dies, or I die" Ezra said and I slapped his shoulder.

"That's no nice way of introducing yourself to a person" I said and he shrugged.

"I just need Brynn to sign some papers" Maria said and Zane raised an eyebrow.

"What are those papers for?" He asked.

"She is eighteen, which means she now has the right to choose whether she wants to stay here or move away. She has the right to choose if she wants to go back to her biological mother or stay here with her family. By signing these papers, she's allowing us to pretty much take her out of the foster care system because she already has a stable family and won't go back to her biological one" Maria explained and I nodded.

A/N: this is all made up. I don't know how the foster system works, or adoption system. Please don't begin judging.

"So in English, by signing these papers I pretty much accept to be part of this amazing family forever?" I asked and she nodded.

Kian grinned, and so did Ezra, and so did Zane. Ellie and Oliver smiled, and Angela grinned. I swear she's like a little kid stuck in an adult's body.

"Where the fuck do I sign?" I asked and James screamed a 'yes'.

Aw, they love me. I honestly can't imagine myself without this crazy, dysfunctional but amazing family anymore.

After signing the papers, Ellie and Angela decided to make a big dinner for Maria. She was staying with us until tomorrow because she needed to go back to North Carolina.

I was laying down in my bed, Theo laying right beside me.

"So you're saying, you're never leaving?" He asked.

"Pretty much, yeah" I answered.

"I'm glad you're not leaving. I mean, you're my best friend. If you left, I would be stuck with Ezra and Zane, which is not a good thing. They annoy me, and so do you, but you are a little bit nicer" He said and I chuckled.

"You know that you're an idiot, right?" I asked.

"I've been told so" He said, smiling.

I seriously don't understand why people have girl best friends, like, guy best friends are so much better. They don't start gossip over who's the better friend. They don't do those bitch fights. It's so much better.

I mean, if you have girl best friends and they are amazing, you're lucky. I was never able to fit in with girls. They were too girly and shopaholic shit, and I'm just not into the pink and makeup stuff.

I prefer wearing a pair of shorts, a random t shirt and flip flops or sneakers. I'm not a big fan of makeup or heels. That's probably why I never found girl friends. Not that it bothers me, because I have an amazing group of friends, even if they are all boys. Annoying boys.

Eventually, Ezra, Kian and Zane walked inside my room too. It's a group meeting.

"Hey, guys, promise me something" I said.

"What?" They all asked at the same time.

"To be there for each other no matter what" I said and Ezra smiled.

"We ain't going nowhere" He said.

"I know, but let's not ever let anything or anyone get in between our friendship and drift us apart" I said.

"I promise" Theo said.

"I do" Kian said.

"Me is promising" Ezra said and I rolled my eyes at his choice of words.

I stared at Zane and he smiled.

"I promise"

And I hope this is a promise that stays for a lifetime.
