I spent the entire night over analyzing everything like I always did. I got up early Monday morning and got Sara to school. I had all this time to myself I didn't know what to do. I was sitting at home when I got a call from Ethan. "Hey Paige can you do me a huge favor. I left a file on my desk and I need it at my office. Could you please bring it to me?" he asked.

"Of course I'll grab it and be on my way" I said.

I arrived shorty after to Ethan's office building. I've never been here before. This place was huge. I walked up to the front desk and told the girl at the desk I had a file for Mr.Anderson. The receptionist looked at me from head to toe. "You're the nanny?" She said.

She didn't even let me answer. She pointed to where I was supposed to head to. I got in the elevator and I heard two women chatting. "Did you hear Mr.Anderson broke up with his girlfriend?" One women said.

"Yes finally. I'm definitely going to put my moves on him." The other said.

"Girl once I'm done with him, he won't look at another women" the other one said.

They both stared laughing. Then they got off the elevator. I took a look at them. They where both well dressed, skinny brunettes. I sighed. Those are the type of women Ethan is supposed to be with.

I finally reached the top floor. I walked up to the secretary and she rolled her eyes at me "you're the nanny?" She said. Just like the receptionist she didn't let me answer. "Whatever Mr. Anderson is waiting for you. Go ahead" she said pointing to some double doors. I looked down at what i was wearing. It was just simple jeans and a T-shirt. I guess I was underdressed.

I walked up and knocked. "Come in" I heard and I walked in. He office was huge. It had a clear view of the city.

"Paige?" I heard him say and I turned to look at him.

"Sorry. I go lost in the city view. This is amazing" I said.

"I have an even better view." He said looking at me. What? Then out of no where he grabbed me and kissed me. I wanted to pull away but man he was a good kisser. Then I finally pulled away.

"Ethan this isn't a good idea." I said.

"What? Kissing in my office? We can go to the roof if you want?" He chuckled. I thought he was serious for a moment.

"I'm talking about everything. We can't do anything. Whatever this is..." I said signaling both of us. "Needs to stop." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"What do you mean why?" I asked. "Isn't it obvious?" I asked once again.

"No not really. I want to start something with you." He said.

"I'm sorry what?" I asked.

"Paige what's so hard to believe" he asked.

"Everything Ethan. It's pretty obvious. You and I are worlds apart. Just by waking in today I was proven that point many times" I said.

"We are both human, aren't we?" He asked. Who knew Ethan had a funny side. "What happened? What made you feel that way?" He finally asked.

I sighed, "it doesn't matter and you know what I mean Ethan. We need to stay professional. This isn't right. You're my boss" I said. "And quite frankly I have no idea what you want from me. I don't have anything I can offer you. So I don't understand why you keep on kissing me" I whispered as I looked down.

"Paige..." he started to say but we where interrupted by a knock. I instantly took 5 steps back.

The door swung open and a man walked inside. "Anderson we have a meeting in 5 minutes." He said as he walked I side. Then he noticed me. "Oh hello." He siad as he looked at me. "I'm John Adams" he said extending his hand.

"I'm Paige Evans" I said shaking his hand.

"Oh you're Whitney's student. My god, my wife can't stop talking about you." He said. "I can't believe we haven't met before. Hey why don't we have dinner tonight, all four of us at my home" he said.

"Oh no Mr...." I started to say.

"Please call me John." He said.

"John, Oh I couldn't impose" I started to say.

"Nonsense. Isn't that nonsense Anderson?" He asked Ethan.

"Complete nonsense" he said.

"See. Whitney would love to have you over." He said.

"Ok then, What about Sara?" I said.

"Sara hates adult dinners, she can stay at home." Ethan said.

"Great I'll see you then." John said.

I saw my chance to escape from Ethans office. "Well I should leave you two to work" I said as I backed away.

"I hope I didn't interrupting anything" John said.

"No of course not, I just have to pick Sara up and you two have meeting so please excuse me" I said as I waived goodbye and headed out the door.

I ran outside the building and took a deep breath.

Later that evening I was getting ready for dinner. "So you're going out with my brother? Is it like a date?" Sara asked.

"Oh heavens no." I said. "His partner invited me to dinner. His wife was one of my professors" I said.

"That still sounds like a date. A double date to be exact." She laughed.

"Hey don't laugh at me me missy" I said starting to tickle Sara.

Ethan walked Into the room. He was wearing jeans for once. "Ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah." I looked at Sara. "Are you sure you don't want to go?" I asked her.

"I'll pass. I hate adult dinners" she said.

"Ok. We'll be home later." I said giving her a kiss on her forehead and a hug. "Be good and call me if you need anything" I said.

Ethan laughed. He gave her a hug and a kiss "she'll be fine" he said. I nodded and we headed outside.

The Adams live really close to the Andersons, it was a two minute car ride. We pulled up and rang the door bell. "Paige" Professor Adams greeted me with a hug.

"Professor Adams." I greeted her.

"Paige please! We're past that. It's Whitney remember." She said.

"Sorry. Whitney" I said.

"Much better." She said I shook Mr. Adams hand.

"Paige." He said.

"Nice to see you again John." I said. Then They both greeted Ethan.

We headed to their huge dinning room. I surprisingly felt comfortable around them. They told me how Ethan was go growing up, about their family trips, all the crazy things Ethan's mom did. I felt like I got to know him a little better. After dinner we chatted a bit more in the living room and then we headed home.

They both insisted we come over again soon. We drove back in silence. We reached Ethan's home and the maid who was looking after Sara, told us Sara had already fallen asleep and then left.

After she left I was alone with Ethan. "I should check up on her." I said and ran to Sara's room. I don't want to wake her so I just peeked inside, I saw that she was ok and I closed the door. Unfortunately Ethan followed me.

I started to make my way down the hall "Paige. Wait" he said. I stoped in my tracks and turned to him.

"What is it?" I asked nervously.

Then he did it again, he attacked me with a kiss. He pulled away and said "I've been waiting all day for that" he said.

"Ethan we shouldn't. What if Sara comes out." I said.

"Good idea" he said and then he picked me up. What the hell was he doing?

"What are you..." I tried to protest.

"Shh you'll wake Sara up." He said and then he took me to his bedroom.
