"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

Once you guys had finished your little dance lesson, you ran away at a speed so fast that Iida almost became jealous of you.
You ran back into your classroom, gathering your shit before jumping out the window and scaling down the building.
I'm kidding. You were too unfit for that.
Instead, you left the classroom like a normal human being for once, and Izuku was never prouder. As you two continued to walk together, you explained to Izuku about your situation with Todoroki. In which he replied with something that didn't make you feel any better.
"Isn't his father Endeavor?"
Whelp. Guess you'll just have to go your whole life without meeting Todoroki's family. That is, if he even wanted to stay with you.
"Thanks for that, Izuku." You said sarcastically, and he apologised profusely. You sighed and ruffled his hair before saying, "I don't know what to do. Todoroki is only acting as a soulmate because he has to. He even said so himself! It was his job as my soulmate to look after me. His first words to me were 'I don't think someone like you could be my soulmate'! Like, what the FUCK?"
"Language." Said a passing Aizawa, and you sighed and went, "Sorry."
Izuku looked at you with sympathy, rubbing your back in efforts to comfort you. "(Y/N)-chan, I think you're getting this all wrong."
You groaned as you rubbed a hand over your face tiredly. "How so?"

"All your life you've been self-conscious about your soulmate. You've been worried that your soulmate wouldn't love you or wouldn't want to be with you. You even convinced yourself at one point that you were going to go all your life avoiding interaction with people in order to avoid meeting your soulmate. In which I told you was impossible. Do you remember that?"
You sighed and nodded. You did.
He stopped walking and placed his hands on your shoulders, smiling at you. "(Y/N)-chan, you need to trust me as your best friend that Todoroki's first words to you as your soulmate wasn't anything negative. You need to understand that it is in fact his job to look after you as his soulmate. And yes, that may sound heartless, but think about this: He wouldn't be doing it if he didn't want to. And you would be able to tell he didn't want to by the lack of effort.
"Todoroki approached you for the dance because he knew you were his soulmate. If he didn't want to, he would have just stayed there. Todoroki talked to you and comforted you and told you that he was there for you. If he didn't want to deal with that, he wouldn't have said that stuff. I know that it's difficult to break out of old habits in terms of thinking certain ways, but that is why he is there. And me, and Uraraka and Iida. And even Mina and Kaminari. We're here to help you break out of those bad habits of thinking. Okay?"
You stared at him like he was an angel. He was.
You smiled gently at him, nodding your head, a part of your brain still not believing him, but you tried your best to. "Okay. Thank you, Izuku. I love you."

"I love you too, (Y/N)-chan." He hugged you, and you held each other in a comforting grip, ignoring the many students walking around you and staring strangely at the two idiots who decided to hug in the middle of the corridor.
"Let's go eat," Izuku said, pulling away.
"Hell fucking yeah," you replied. "I'm hungry as FRICK."
"How do you go from the f-word to 'frick'?"
"Just say 'fuck', Izuku."
"N-NO!"
