《Fallen So Deep (Sidnaaz)》Chapter 9

Sana's PoV
Sid was being very dramatic last night. I really believe that it was my worst decision to marry such an Arrogant Smug-faced Idiot. He is aggressive, irrational and an alcoholic.
I was wondering if I should start looking for a job or talk to Ryan about the earlier job I was offered before this fucking marriage.
I have already searched for some jobs but not as a photographer rather as an assistant professor.
I was even lined up by two of the universities for interviews today which I really don't wish to go for.
I thought, I will work as a professor for a few months and then think about my passion but now I really think I can't live a life I never wanted.
I am already going through hell and working in a hell will worsen the situation.
Finally , I decided to call Ryan who is an amazing fashion photographer and apparantly who wanted to give me the job earlier.
I will just ask if the offer is still open as I never confirmed him if I will be joining or not.
On the second ring, a soothing and happy voice came on the other side of the phone.
"Hey, this is Ryan . How may I help you?"
"H..hey, Ryan. This is Shehnaaz Sharma. You remember the portfolio?"
"Oh.! Ms. Sharma. How can I forget such a talent, babes? " He replied in an even happier tone now.
"Ryan. I was wondering if the offer is still.." before I could even complete the sentence he cut me off cheerfully.
"Ofcourse, the offer is always open for you, dear. You just come and meet me at my office at 4pm today?" He asked.
"Oh. Thank You so much Ryan. I will see you then".
"Sure, babes." He replied and hung up.
I smiled and went straight into Sid's room.
Gathering all my stuff, I entered the next door which seemed like a guest room. I entered the room it had a closet which was a bit smaller than his but it was perfect for me.

There was a queen sized bed in between the room.
The room looked dull with only white coloured bedsheets and curtains .
I was a rather colourful type of a girl.
I hated white colour since a long time.
I decided to sort my things in the closet and took out my camera and the portfolios.
I then decided to explore some of the scenic beauty of the beach which was directly visible from the windows of this penthouse.
When I entered the hall, there was a lady cleaning the kitchen shelves.
I smiled at her politely.
"Good Morning, Mrs. Malik. I am Joana. I am Sid's caretaker" she smiled introducing herself.
"Hello, Joana. Please call me Sana. " I replied taking a seat near the kitchen island.
"You are really very pretty Sana. Sidharth is a lucky man to have you" She replied with her cute smile.
I smiled back.
"What would you like to have for the Lunch, Sana?"she asked.
"Joana I will be out for the lunch today. But I will like to have black coffee now, if you won't mind?" I asked genuinely.
"Your coffee is coming up, pretty Sana." She replied enthusiastically.
"So, Joana. You have been Sid's caretaker..."
"..since he was a 5 year old baby. I was his nanny but when Sid's Mom died, I had to switch my roles a bit" she replied cutting me off.
"Oh..I...I"
"It's ok dear. She was a really nice woman though. "
She smiled at me and placed the coffee on the kitchen counter. I sipped the coffee and it was the best.
"Thank You Joana. Your coffee is really the best I had ever had." I replied smilingly.
"Oh.. dear You will love the cookies"
I got excited on hearing the word cookies and smiled brightly.
"You know how to make cookies? " I asked excitedly.
"Ofcourse, shall I prepare some chocolate cookies for you right now?" She asked

"That's a beautifully yummie offer but I have to go to the beach" I replied.
"Oh..No worries dear. I will prepare those for you and you can have those whenever you are back?"
"That's a wonderful offer. Thank You Joana"
I stood up when a phone started ringing in the living room. I wondered whether I should take the call or not? When Joana rushed into the living room and picked it up.
She returned after a few seconds.
"Dear, it was your Sid. He is coming over here so asked me to let you know."
I nodded. He could have called me for that purpose. If he wanted to talk to me. I rolled my eyes and went into the living room watching tv waiting for him to arrive.
After around 30 minutes, Joana took her leave. When I was waiting here for that Jerk. He should be here by now. I just hate him so much....
I glanced at the watch and it was 3:30pm already.
Fuck! I have an interview to attend Mr Malik.
I rushed towards my room, took my belongings and stormed out of the penthouse hurrying away.
John was no where to be seen so I hailed a taxi and went to meet Ryan.
"The Photoholics"
I entered the building and asked for Ryan it was already 4:05 so I guess he might be pissed or even worse he might not want to give me the job anymore.
Fuck! I am not gonna leave you Mr. Malik.
At the reception, a blonde was sitting behind the computer screen.
I smiled and asked, "I have an appointment with Mr. Ryan ?"
"Oh. You must be Ms. Sharma, " she replied smilingly.
"Yes."
"You may go now he is waiting for you"
"Thank You"
I knocked at his door and entered.
"Ms. Sharma"
I smiled.
"Come have a seat" he replied charmingly.
He was an Australian by the accent and looked hot in his suit. His eyes were bright and passionate. Now I could see in his eyes how charming they were.
"Please Call me Sana" I replied shaking his offered hand.
"I have seen your portfolios so I am pretty impressed. I would like you to join me from tomorrow. I have this big fashion week to shoot and I will be needing an assistant for sure." he came directly to the point.
I smiled.
"You are from London right? So I can provide you with the accomodations in one of my friends apartments." He asked.
"I... I actually don't need the accomodation I have arranged for that." I replied.
"So. Let's begin with Our Passion." He smiled.
"I will mail you the contract and you may come at 8am tomorrow." He explained.
I nodded and took my leave.
I loved the job and the people here already. It is the best part of my life by now.
I hailed the cab and made my way back to the penthouse when I remembered I do not have access to enter the private elevator to the penthouse.
Shit.!
I called John but there was no answer. I waited at the reception and was looking for someone I know.
When suddenly my phone rang. It was John so I picked it up immediately.
"John.."
"Sana.? Where are You? Are you alright dear?. " John fired questions.
"John I am alright I just need the passcode to the penthouse"
"Oh ..it's 1201"
"Ok Thanks. " I disconnected the call and entered the elevator with the passcode.

LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Completed)
Lady Chatterley's Lover is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, first published privately in 1928 in Italy, and in 1929 in France and Australia. An unexpurgated edition was not published openly in the United Kingdom until 1960, when it was the subject of a watershed obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. Penguin won the case, and quickly sold 3 million copies. The book was also banned for obscenity in the United States, Canada, Australia, India and Japan. The book soon became notorious for its story of the physical (and emotional) relationship between a working class man and an upper class woman, its explicit descriptions of sex, and its use of then-unprintable words.
