*4 months later*

~Leo

"Come on, Leo, we've gone everywhere." Enzo whined again. 

"Shut up." Theo smacked the back of his head.

"No, we've gone to every single jewellery shop this side of the pacific ocean and he still hasn't found any ring that he deems to be 'good enough'." Enzo continued groaning. 

"Just because you're alone, doesn't mean you have to ruin other people's happiness." Gio smirked at Enzo. 

"Um, you're alone too, Gio. Duh."

"touche."

Theo came up to stand next to me. 

"Still haven't found the one huh?" 

"Nope. Tell me, you're her brother. What kind of jewellery does she like?" I turned towards him. I was becoming desperate now. This was our only day to get this ring. And any longer we're out, is more time that Aria has to figure out what I'm planning. 

"Going to be honest, no clue." 

"She likes gold over silver, don't get her a huge diamond, minimal style and kind of antique-y is her style." Enzo interrupted our conversation. 

"What about this one?" I pointed at one of the rings in the display case. 

"Ew. No." The voice of Bria beside me made me jump out of my skin. 

"Fucking hell, Bria! you scared the shit out of me, what are you doing here?"

I turned around to see Bria and Astrid standing beside the guys, both of them had bright smiles on their faces.

"Enzo called us, and now I'm glad he did seeing what you were going to give my future sister-in-law as a damn engagement ring." Bria explained, crossing her arms over her chest grumpily. 

"Who the hell is with Ria right now then?"

"Um, Athena, Sam and Nero. We weren't going to leave her alone, but we only have an hour." Astrid replied while walking towards Bria and I. 

I walked back towards the guys but before I could reach them, the girls yelled at me almost simultaneously. 

"Found it!" 

I walked towards where they were and had a look at the ring they were pointing at. It was a gold band with a small circular diamond in the middle. The band was adorned with a variety of engraved gold vines and leaves. It was simple, minimalistic, and antique-y. It ticked all of Enzo's boxes, I could see it on Aria's finger, and I could see myself asking her to marry me with it.

It was perfect.

"How did you two manage to find it in 0.2 seconds, but yet it took us 7 hours?" Theo groaned.

"We're just amazing at this." Astrid grinned, before walking out of the shop followed by Bria. 

I called the shop owner over and asked for the ring to be packaged. Once I had paid, we all left the shop. 

It was our one year anniversary in two weeks and I had decided that I wanted to marry her. I know, it's a little soon, but we've been through so much together and I just want us to live our lives together, as husband and wife. 

I asked Theodore for his permission and blessing last week, because I knew both him and Ria herself would appreciate the gesture. He was more than happy to agree, saying that he believed I was the only one worthy of his little sister. 

I told Enzo a few days later, and asked him to keep it quiet because I really didn't want anyone to ruin the surprise. 

That was a mistake. 

Enzo told practically the whole damn mafia so when I decided to go shopping for the ring today, I was accompanied by Theo, Enzo, Killian, Gio, Nikolai and Bria and Astrid. They have all given me their word that they will keep their mouths shut, but I am seriously worried about Enzo's big mouth.

I decided I would propose on our anniversary and I have the idea all planned out in my head. All I need to do is make sure no one ruins the surprise. 

If someone told me last year that in a year I would be proposing to the love of my life, I would have shot them for fear of them being insane but today, I can happily say that I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, the other half of my soul.

I opened the door to the house, I gave the ring box the Theodore, because I know that a certain someone will give me a hug as soon as I walk in. 

Small arms wrapped themselves around my waist and I looked down at the adorable woman who I called my girlfriend.

"Ciao, amore." 

"Bonjour monsieur." She giggled. 

Fuck, I love it when she speaks French. 

"How was your day, baby?" I asked while tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"It was good. Sam and Nero helped me make cookies for all of you and I made the best iced coffee in existence, oh, and I helped one of the junior members in some tech issue they had. Everything is calm right now though, so there wasn't a lot of mafia stuff for me to do." She explained once we were sat in the living room.

"That's good, you'll have to make me a coffee tomorrow." I smiled.

"Yep! I will! Anyway, where did you all go today. Bria and Astrid left earlier, they didn't tell me why but then they came back with food and face masks so I didn't question it, but you and all the guys were gone today, for ages too." She pouted.

"I'm sorry, amore mio, we had to go and help Niko with something at his, something about training or something, the guys just came along because we thought that multiple heads are better than one." I lied. I felt awful lying to her, but this is necessary to make this the best proposal possible for her.

"Niko, I didn't know you had some training issues at yours." Aria asked Nikolai as him and all f the other guys walked into the lounge. Theo nodded at me, telling me that he had hidden the ring. I sent Niko a look that said 'agree or I punch you'. 

"Oh, um, yeah, sorry I didn't tell you, Ria. But I just wanted to see Leo's opinion on it, I didn't think everyone would come along though." He chuckled nervously.

"Oh, okay. Well, should we have a movie night?" she changed the subject. 

"Shotgun one of the front seats in the movie room." Enzo shot up and out of the room.

"What film are we going to watch though?" Aria laughed.

"Lethal Weapon." 

"Hotel Transylvania." 

Nikolai and Killian said at the same time. 

"Hotel Transylvania Nikolai? Really?" Killian asked, disgust lacing his voice.

"What? It's a good film!" 

They continued bickering all the way to the movie room. I followed behind them carrying Aria in my arms.

After around half an hour of arguing, we all agreed to let the girls pick. 

They all chose to watch 'Legally Blonde'. 

Yay.

"Why did he break up with her? Has he seen the dress she's wearing!" Enzo practically screeched at the film. 

Aria broke out into a fit of giggles and it was then that it silenced any doubts. 

She will be my wife.
