《ZER》NINETEEN

I wake up thirsty. My Goodness! Who knows having sex with an alien will be this exhausting? I open my eyes to see a bright light, and I look around me, I notice I'm not at home.
Where am I?
I'm lying down on a glass table, with metals and mirrors on top of me. I'm no longer naked but wearing a simple white dress that reaches my knees. I feel uncomfortable between my legs, but other than that I'm good.
"Hello?" I try to call.
The door opens and in come three Tzarian males. One I remember was the old male who installed the identity chip on my first day in Tzar. Two males beside him are strangers to me. The left one is only slightly taller than the hunching doctor and the other one is definitely a warrior.
"Hello, Katherine from Earth, I suppose you still remember me?" The doctor approaches me slowly, or maybe he cants move that fast any more, the two other males are standing close to the door. "Do you know why are you here?" He asks me again.
"No, where is my husband?" I ask him instead.
The three of them are throwing glances. "I'm sorry, what did you say?" the doctor asks again. Why don't they let the poor man stay at home instead of employing him? He looks like he's way past his retirement date.
"I ask you, where is my husband? Where is Zer? The High General. Does he know I'm here?" And I gasp, "Did you kidnap me?" I jump out of bed and walk away from them.
"No, no, we didn't kidnap you, you're brought here after... the incident." He says again.
"What incident?"
"Katherine from Earth—"
"Kate," in cut the shorter Tzarian male.
"Kate, my name is Pir, I'm here to investigate your incident, and we have proofs that you've been sexually assaulted by the High General."
"WHAT?!" I shout at them.
"We ran some test and find his sperm in you, we are well aware that the Pairing Councils has no data of both of you registering for a pairing event." He says again.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Now I'm angry. How dare them to take me from the arms of my husband just for some stupid nonsense? "I demand you to take me back to my husband immediately."
"Has he threatened you? Did he force the pairing event?" The 'detective' keeps asking me.
"First of all," I say in with my fists clenches, "It's called sex. Zer and I had sex just like any other normal coup—pair would do. Second of all, how could you in your right mind think that he force me?! If any I was the one who forces him!"
"This conversation is off the record, Kate, feel free to speak the truth." He keeps denying my words.
"The truth is you are a bunch of stupid males who thinks a female cannot stand up and demand her husband to fulfill her needs!" I shouted at them. "Now I swear to God if in the next hour I don't see my husband I will sue all of your asses for taking me away from the man I chose."
They are reluctant to let me go, Pir touched his wrist on mine and tell me he transferred his contact to my list, should I feel like talking to him about the incident.
Unbelievable.

I come out of the hospital only with the white dress as apparently, I brought here only wrapped in a blanket.
Sigh...
The 'detective' takes me in his car to a facility that looks awfully similar to a prison. We walk inside and he fills his data and mine to the guest's log and the door opens for us.
"Pir Alf'hatln and Katherine from Earth for The High General Zer." He informs the guard. The guard nods and we follow him to where ever my husband is. My heart beating fast as we walk past some dark rooms it's just like any ordinary room but the front walls are made of glass.
We walk for more than fifteen minutes before I get antsy. "Where is he taking us?" I ask Pir.
"The High General is the strongest, most dangerous male on this planet if not in this galaxy." He says I feel a wave of pride as he compliments my husband. "He needs maximum security." So we walk a bit more and down with a special elevator to few floors under. When the elevator doors open, I see nothing but blackness.

Pir and the guard walkout and the guard knocks something and a dim light shines in the middle of the room.
With Zer underneath it.
My eyes widen as I shouted his name, but my face hits an invisible thick glass instead. I bang the glass and call for him.
God no!
He sits down in a small chair, with his neck, upper chest, elbows, wrist, thighs, and ankles chained to the floor.
"Release him!" I shouted at the males behind me. "You can't keep him like that! No! Release him!"
"We... can't" Pir says.
"You can't or you won't?" I ask him angrily.
"He committed a crim—"
"Pleasing his wife is not a crime!" Both males flinch as I call myself his wife. "I never report his action nor will I ever, whatever happens between my husband and me sexually, it's none of anyone's concern. I'm the representative of Earth and we do things differently, now, I demand you to release my husband at once!" My voice keeps rising as I talk.
Pir and the guard look at each other before the guard reaches for a panel I didn't notice were there. The glass wall dissolved and I rushed to Zer.
As soon as he sees me his body tense. "Take her away from me!" His voice boomed and takes me by surprise. "Take her away from here!" Now he's looking at Pir, who's giving him an odd look. "You have one minute to do as I command or you'll pay the price."
Pir stiffs and grabs my wrist. "We need to go."
"No!"
"The High—"
"I'm the wife of The High General, I don't take orders from him and surely not from you!" I yank my hand free and rush to my husband.
"Zer... I'm sorry, it's just misunderstanding, we're going home soon, ok?" I tell him as I kneeling in front of him, trying to find a way to open all the chains around him.
"Go home, Kate." He told me coldly. My hands freeze and I look at him. "Get away from me."
His words feel like a slap on my face. "No, I'm not going anywhere without you. I know you must be upset because they hold you against your will here, but we can explain to them and we can go home, together."
He let out a bitter laugh, "They don't hold me here against my will, I told them to keep me here away from you."
My lips tremble, "why?"
"Because what I've done to you!" He shouts at me. "What I did is unforgivable, not even for a man like me, so many wars, so many lives I took mercilessly, but nothing compared to what I did to you. No, go Kate."
I stand up and look at him pissed.
"I'm your wife." I hiss at him. "And if you think, somebody as strong as you, as powerful as you, as lethal as you will get a weak, helpless female as your pair, then you're clearly mistaken." I turn around and look at our silent, confused, amused viewers. "Go. I'm staying here." I told them.
"But—"
"I will not move away until my stupid husband come to his sense and beg for my forgiveness to say such foolish things to me."
"Pir you better get her out of here, if not I swear I will make your life miserable." My mindless husband threatens.
"Pir. If there is a person in this whole universe can get a hold of the High General, then it's me, his wife. If you think he can make your life miserable, I will make sure you will wish you've never been born." I told him slowly.
That was it, both of the males walk away from us into the darkness.
When I turn to him, I present him the wickedest, sinful, unholy smile I can put on my face.
He looks at me full of caution. "What are you planning?"
"Why, husband, I just wondering if you're hungry,"
