《All the Feels》Chapter 28

"Are my favorite girls ready to go?" Billy asks, holding his arms open for Willow to jump into. It had been two weeks since we won the court case and I never thought I would be so grateful to have life back to normal.
"Where are we going?" Willow asks and Billy smiles at her, booping her on the nose.
"It's a surprise, Pippy." He says with a mischevious smile that has me laughing. She narrows her eyes at him suspiciously as he puts her hat on her head, pulling it down over her eyes until she giggles. He scoops her up and carries her out to the car, buckling her in before opening my door for me. I press a kiss to his lips before I slip in the car.
We drive in comfortable silence, Billy's hand resting on my thigh, squeezing it occasionally and making me grin. Willow chats in the back seat, telling us what she wants for Christmas and the things she was learning in school before break started.
When we pull up to the park, we can hear Willow's audible gasp from the backseat.
"A carnival?!" She asks excitedly and Billy grins back at her.
"The Winter Festival." He says and she shrieks out an excited sound that has us both laughing.
We pile out of the car, each of us grabbing one of Willow's hands as we walk towards the rides. Billy buys her tickets and she runs towards the first one. We sit and watch as she spins, laughing, smiling and waving at us.
"You know, this is the best memory I have from my childhood." Billy says, coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around me.
"What do you mean?" I ask, looking up at him. He smiles down and pecks a kiss to my lips before resting his chin on my shoulder.
"When I was a kid, my parents were always busy. Never really made time for me. Except for this festival. They would take the day off from work every year and we would spend the whole day here. They would let me ride as many rides as I wanted, eat whatever I wanted, play the games until I won everything I could. Then before we left, we'd go ice skating together, just the three of us. My parents would laugh and joke together. My dad would spin my mom around, kiss her. It was really the only time I felt like my parents actually loved each other. I'm sure they did, or do, but they never really showed it. When I started falling for you and Willow, bringing you both here, spending the day with you. I couldn't wait. You two are like all my dreams come to life. It probably seems like just another day to you guys, but this is huge for me." He says, his voice breaking as he clears his throat. I turn to hold onto him, tucking my face into his neck.

"We'll make it special. Every year we'll do the same for Willow. And whatever other kids we have." I say with a bright smile and his face turns to shock before joy.
"Really? More kids?" He asks and I shrug.
"If you want." I say with a teasing smile and he chuckles.
"As many as you'll give me, angel." He says, kissing me again.
"Mom! Can I go again?" Willow calls and I look over at her, her little cheeks pink from the cold and her eyes glittering with excitement.
"As many times as you want, baby!" I shout back, tears pricking my eyes.
"Love you, angel." Billy murmurs, against my ear and I smile up at him.
"I love you, too." I say, sitting up on tip toe to kiss him.
Willow gets tired of the rides and switches to games, letting out a happy squeal when Billy wins her a stuffed dog. She runs around like a crazy person, playing everything she can find.
"Can we get a puppy, Mom?" She asks and I nearly choke on my funnel cake.
"Baby, dogs are a lot of work." I say and she shrugs.
"I bet Billy will help us. Won't you?" She asks sweetly, her eyes going all big as her lower lip pouts out a little.
Damn it. She's pulling out the big guns.
"Ah, shit." Billy murmurs under his breath as his face softens at her expression. "It's up to your Mom, Pip. I don't live with you, it'd be hard to help you with a dog." He says and Willow looks at me expectantly.
"Mom! Give it to him!" She whisper yells and Billy looks at me curiously.
That girl has no subtlety.
"Alright, come on." I say, grabbing Billy's hand and leading him to a bench. Willow and I sit on either side of him, Willow bouncing with excitement.
"What's going on?" He asks with a nervous smile and I pull a card out of my purse, handing it to him.
"What's this?" He asks.
"Open it!" Willow yells and he does, reading it and flipping it over, looking at me confused. I chuckle a little and take it from him pointing out Willow's attempt at writing.
"Willow and I made it." I say.

"It's an invitation. To join our club!" She adds happily and Billy's eyes widen when he looks at me.
"I don't get it." He says and I laugh again.
"You said Willow and I are like our own super secret club."
"And I want in." He says and I nod.
"Exactly. We went you to join our club. And move into our clubhouse." I say and I hear his sharp intake of breath.
"You want me to move in with you?" He asks and I nod.
"Your apartment would be a little small for the three of us." I say and Willow giggles.
"We don't have any more bedrooms so you can't have your own room, but Mom said she'd share with you!" She says happily and Billy tilts his head back to laugh.
"How generous." He adds, smiling at me, reaching out to grip the back of my neck and pulling me in for a quick kiss. I chuckle and watch as he reads the card again.
"Well, are you gonna come live with us?" Willow asks and Billy stands up, grabbing her and tossing her in the air before catching her. She giggles wildly, holding onto his neck as he grabs my hand and pulls me to stand with him, tucking me under his arm.
"I would love to come live with you. I accept your invitation to join your club." He says warmly and Willow fist bumps me.
"Yes! Now we can get a puppy!" She yells and my face instantly falls.
"Should have thought that one through, angel." Billy whispers in my ear before kissing my cheek. I sigh and shrug.
"Every kid should have a dog. Right?" I ask and Billy chuckles, but nods.
"And you have a great backyard for one. Actually, we have a great backyard." He says with a smug smile that has me laughing.
"Willow!" A little voice floats over the grass and Willow's face lights up when she sees who it is.
"Ellie!" She calls, squirming out of Billy's hold to run across the park. The two girls clash in a firm hug like they don't spend every day together at school.
"They are so sweet together." I say, and Billy nods, holding me close to his chest.
"I wanted the two of you to myself for awhile, but I invited them figuring Willow would like it." He says and I look up at him.
"You're perfect." I say and he chuckles, bending his head to kiss me.
"Enough of that. You. With me." Emily says, grabbing my arm and pulling me along.
"What the hell happened!" She asks excitedly and I laugh, replaying the last few weeks for her. She hugs me when I finish and smiles warmly at me.
"You two are perfect. Just freaking perfect. I'm so happy, Ains." I say and watch as her eyes glisten with tears.
"Happy ones?" Jax asks and she nods.
"Ecstatic!" She squeals, kissing her husband. He chuckles and they wander off together to play with their kids.
"See, that's why I was greedy earlier." Billy says, scowling playfully at Emily. She sticks her tongue out at him and I laugh, letting him pull me towards the ice rink.
"Oh no, Billy. No way. I can't skate." I say and Billy chuckles, renting some ice skates for the three of us.
"It's alright. I'll teach you."
"Come on, Mom!" Willow pleads as she ties her laces, but I shake my head.
"No way. I'll fall on my butt and make a fool out of myself." I say firmly. Billy just eyes me warmly before he walks up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist and leaning down to murmur in my ear.
"Come on. Don't worry, angel. I'll never let you fall."
