"Yes."
I kissed my lips against hers, ignoring the pain in my shoulder as I leaned further in. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she moved in sync with me, her lips felt soft and plump on mine. I pressed on further, slowly sliding my tongue in her mouth, she let out a soft moan. The sound drowned out in our kisses and I pulled away so we could both catch our breaths.
Her face was slightly heated and she looked away from, touching her fingers against her lips. I turned her face back to mine and gazed into her eyes.
So pretty... "Gio."
My name rolling off her lips, I wanted to hear her say it more. From the moment I first saw her, I knew I wanted to meet her again. Now that I have her again... I can't help but want more.
"Sì?" I answered her and she blushed.
She lifted the hem of her shirt and bit down on her lip, "You can... touch me if you want." She said quietly, making my eyes widen.
"For God's sake Jeyri..." I groaned, dropping my head down. I trailed my hand up her shirt and slid it beneath her, unclipping her bra. I reached underneath it and cupped her breast in my hand, watching her every reaction to my touch.
She parted her lips and let out a soft moan, leading me onto kiss her again. I was beginning to get lost in her, my hand trailed down to her pants and as I undid the buttons I heard the door burst open and I paused.
"Gio! No one told me... you were back... oh damn-" I heard Sebastian's voice and I pinched the bridge between my nose before standing up straight. She scrambled to fix her clothes and I sighed, "What do you want Sebastian?" I asked turning around and he scratched his head.

"Mi dispiace, Gio ... non sapevo che fossi con la ragazza." (I'm sorry, Gio... I didn't know you were with the girl.)
"E ora lo sai, eppure sei ancora qui." (And now you know it, yet you are still here.) I shook my head and face palmed myself. "L'hai già rovinato, non importa." (You've already ruined it, it doesn't matter.)
I turned back toward her as he left back out and she held her hands up to her face. Yep, completely ruined it there Sebastian.
"Oh my God, that was so embarrassing." She mumbled, shaking her head and I chuckled, moving her hands away from her face as I sat next to her. "He didn't see anything, I was blocking his sight of you, don't worry. Even if it weren't the case, Sebastian would respect you enough and look away."
I could tell she still felt embarrassed by it, so I decided to change the conversation.
"I've known him all my life." I said, "Our families were very close and his dad was my dad's right hand man so it's only natural he became mine as well." She looked up at me finally and relaxed a little more than before.
"Oh, he sounded excited to see you... he was probably worried."
"Hmm, not quite. I'm sure he knew I'd come back. We've been working together all this long, him and Matteo, they're the only two people I trust, with my life. If they thought I was putting myself in grave danger where they were worried I wouldn't come back from, they wouldn't let me go alone. And it's the same for me with them."
"That's sweet." She said, smiling. She looked down and her smile kind of faded, "I wanted to be able to protect Hayley like that. I've known her for so long too... but I feel like I've just dragged her into something dangerous. Melanie makes things look so easy and even Astarte- she's so cool about everything, I wanted to be like them. I want to take care of everyone... even though I've mostly just met them, I can't help finding myself feeling worried about them- and you too." She said adding the last part quietly.

"You've protected yourself so far... that's enough isn't it?" I asked, "We live in two different worlds and you're still not used to mine yet you've managed. That's enough to be proud of."
When she didn't say anything, I rested my hand on her lower back, making her blush. "Sleep with me," I whispered into her ear and kissed her forehead, "Tomorrow there will be a funeral, then I will let you and your friend go."
I pulled her into my chest as she hesitantly laid down beside me and I smiled, it's better off like this. She'll wind up getting hurt staying here for too long, she's already seen enough of my world-
I won't drag her further down into this hell.
