《Alpha Daryl Reeds》Chapter 18

I came out a couple of hours later, I knew Daryl still left me with that unknown guy. I had showered and dressed. The guy looked better, if he called his black eye better, but he's nose isn't bleeding anymore. He wasn't standing outside my door at least, he had sat himself at the kitchen table Daryl's maid who's name I had forgotten was moving around him with wipes and a plate of food. I guess she was trying to clean the blood off his face, and feed him at the same time.
"Luna." He said looking up at me.
"I'll have a plate," I said sitting down at the end of the table farther away from him.
The maid brings a plate of food. I started eating my eyes on the other guy, he looked a little like Kevin I wondered if they were brothers. I finished eating, not talking to what's his name every time he tried to talk to me. He didn't bother to give me his name so I don't know what he wants from me.
I go back upstairs and grab my purse, a pair of sunglasses that I had gotten from my last shopping day. I stump down the stairs and had almost gotten out the door before my babysitter saw me.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"I need some fresh air." I growled at him. "I really don't need a babysitter so you can run home to mommy now."
"I'm 25 years old and I don't need my mother." He said crossing his arms over his chest.
"Aww mama's boy all grown up." I say before slamming the door in his face. Dumbass.
I started heading towards the pound lately. I have been spending a lot of time here. Today I brought my books. I knew that when I became part of Daryl's pack I wouldn't be allowed to swim in the pond. It was part of my old pack more than it was Daryl's. It was beautiful, today was a warm day and the sun hit the pound in a beautiful way.

I set up my art stuff a blank page in my book and set to work. I was almost finished by the time I felt Daryl's eyes on me.
"What are you doing here?" Daryl asked me, I stood my back hurt a little, my hands covered in pencil.
I showed him the drawing, that way I didn't have to talk to him. He took the drawing from me. "It's beautiful." He commented he's eyes never left the page as he studied it.
"You're really good at this."
"Thanks." I had always wanted to go to art school, but I thought I wasn't good enough to go. I don't tell Daryl that though.
He sighed. "I want to show you something."
I raised a brow at him, but he had already started walking. I followed after him, he didn't turn back towards his pack but stayed with his back to the pound. We walked maybe a mile before we walked up to a house, it was painted a light yellow faded it could use a new coat of paint, one of the windows was boarded up. The front door looked like it had been kicked in one too many times.
Daryl didn't look at me. He walked up the stairs of the house, the stairs creak of old age the hold under Daryl's weight. He opens the door the smell hits me first it smelled as if something died in here. The inside of the house was trashed, it looked - I stopped myself I didn't want to look.
"Why are we here?" I asked.
Daryl doesn't answer, he just walks to the back of the house waiting for me to follow. I follow after him. I don't get why we are here or who used to live here. He opens a bedroom door, the first thing I start was a pool of blood, I stare I couldn't process what I was seeing. Daryl pretends he doesn't see it and walks to the closet opens the door, I stopped thinking of the smell of death, the blood on the floor the thoughts of someone being abused.

The pictures of the wall were something, the first picture was an angel or from what I was guessing the guys had beautiful angel wings black while the other had golden wings. The angel who had black wings was hitting the second one, blood was coming from somewhere on his body, and both of them weren't wearing a shirt.
Some drawings were of a girl sitting in a corner, shadows around her as she cried. Some pictures were of random things but each drawing was detailed so well.
"It was my mother." Daryl spoke. "Her drawings from her life of her father, he abused her after her mother died trying to give birth to her husband's second baby. Her father blamed my mother for it, which wasn't possibly her fault."
"Oh," I asked my heart hurt, I wanted to reach out for him. I didn't get the chance too, he start moving around the room.
"My mother loved to draw it was her freedom. She didn't draw for so long after she met my father, she was scared of him. He didn't know her story or why she flinched when he was around. My father treated my mother with love and respect and tried to show her that he would never hurt her." Daryl explained. "When he heard her story he came here and there was a fight and my grandfather was murdered right here." He pointed at the pool of dried blood.
"My mother hated my father for it, but he didn't care she shouldn't live in fear or whatever."
"Why are you telling me this?" I asked.
"I am cruel yes, but I want you to know I'd never hurt you. The only reason I didn't burn this place down is so I can be reminded that I would never hit a woman nor a child." Daryl told me. "Look Joyce, I know I'm probably the last person you wanted to be mated too but I am your mate and I really would like it if you didn't judge me from everyone else or rumors."
"What are you asking me?" I asked.
"Will you actually give me a chance, to actually be my mate."
I smiled. "I'd like that."
Daryl smiles an actual smile and it melts my heart. He wanted me to trust him, but could I actually fall for the monster everyone thought he was?

When Plush comes to Shove
An: So the last synopsis wasn’t really all that good, it was just some mumbo jumbo with no actual point to it so I decided to make a new one that’s a bit more accurate. Leo Lush, just your average everyday (slightly chubby) schmuck, or at least he would be if he didn’t carry around a stuffed toy everywhere he went.I mean, he was a man who could read the atmosphere a bit so put it away in his bag whenever having a stuffed toy out would be rude but other than that he brought it with him all the time, it was a memento from his girlfriend who had died three years ago and keeping it close made him feel better. That’s also why his classmates gave him the nickname “Plush”, though that's neither here nor there. One day at the train station he’d lost his dearest stuffed toy, one of his classmates found it and lobbed it towards him, something that they’d already done many times before, but this time something went wrong and Leo found himself falling in front of the train due to the force of the throw. Now follow Leo as the spirit that developed in his stuffed toy and killed him forces his ghost into another world to possess a different stuffed toy. He doesn’t know much about the world or why he’s there but what he does know is that according to a magic book his girlfriend was also sent to this very world when she died in a plane accident three years ago. An: For those who want to know a bit more about what kind of story this will be: I want it to be a chill feel-good story and stay as far away from those despair-fest stories as possible (No offense to people who enjoy them, I’m just not one of you)Let me make something clear; I’m not writing this story with hope of it becoming really top tier among RRL (Though it did get above rank 500 once which I’m still very proud of even though it’s gone back down to ~850 at the time of writing this) I just want to write a story that I would enjoy reading, that’s why I’ll be mostly skipping over a lot of the parts that I skip when I read other stories, such as stats, the exact value of money and other such precise statistics that no one(as far as I’m aware) really cares about all that much. Just feels like a lot of effort for something superfluous. There’s a single exception and that’s one of the battles, it’s not a despair-fest or anything but it’s got a different feel than the rest of the story due to me being in a funky mood while I was writing it.

My Villain {Loki ff -hun}
