'The coin I have is not enough. I should craft more items and sell.'
Peter took his leave after chatting with the receptionist about the housing prices.
Currently, the only item that he could own was a small house. Peter had a way around this. The currency exchange was solid and he could convert it into real money, then wait for the coin value to drop and purchase the coins required later.
The more he thought about it the more it felt right. Since he was already at the bank, he chose to cash out the gold to bucks and after confirming the details were right, rushed back to the auction house to purchase more ore for crafting. The urge to make more money grew in him once he got that burst of initial coins.
Most crafters had also reached the tier 2 rank and so the high demand had lowered down for equipment. Most of the large guilds had already bought artisans craft materials exclusive to them.
The market for equipment stabilised at 50 silver for common, 1 gold for uncommon and 8 gold for rare pieces. Unique items were rarely seen. Some of those were not even as good as common equipment as most of these were made by crafters without a proper mold.
The price of common ores we're still low as there was an extreme surplus in supply. The copper ores were being sold for 50 copper and the irons for a bare 1 silver. Considering that an iron common equipment could reach a higher price than the common gears currently in supply, this would result in a huge profit to anyone in the business.
The auction house had all the blueprints that he needed. After browsing through the list he decided to pick up a few weapons and armour blueprints for level 20 and above.

'The set item can fetch me a good amount. Maybe I can sell it in bulk.'
With a few more blueprints Peter went to purchase ores. Iron ore was 1 silver per weight so he chose to fill up his inventory with it.
'35 gold. I hope I can make the money back.'
With all the ore and blueprints in the inventory, Peter went back to the smithy area. He went back to the corner and observed that the area was unusually filled with people.
'Looks like more people started picking smithy.'
After a few seconds of observation, Peter figured out that most of these people were here to recruit people to their guilds.
'This isn't good. It's too crowded. I need to find a peaceful pace to craft.' The only person who could help him was his master.
"Master, it's too crowded in here. Are there any other places that I could use for my self?"
"Yeah the crowd is a distraction but it also helps to spread fame. If you're sure you want to be left alone then you could rent a private smithy at the back. Talk to the receptionist."

'There was a receptionist?'
Peter looked at the small building at the back that he had never given much thought to. A lady was at the counter to welcome him.
"Hello Mister, how can I help you?"
He had to show a badge with his name to get approval to use a unique room for crafting.
"Hi, so there are three rooms. The smallest has all the basic smithy needs while the best one has all the required amenities for you to craft, take breaks and even have a bath if you get too tired. You can also hire an assistant to help you with inventory if you pick the large rooms."
"What's the price?"
"Of course, the small one cost 10 gold per hour while the large one cost 200 gold per hour. Please pick one to your liking."
Peter gave the assistant 10 gold. After a few minutes of waiting, the receptionist sent him to a room at the back of the corridor. When Peter entered the room, he was confused. The room was very small and a smelter furnace and anvil with a cooling tub were all there was in the room.
'Well, this should be enough for now.'
It wasn't possible to mass-produce unknown items but if one had made it once, then the system can help mass produce it. When mass-producing the work it was only possible to get a common item unless one's luck was very high.
Peter started with the soldier sword and armours.
After a long 20 minutes, Peter had made his first soldier armour set.

Soon the mass production started.

'Looks like the work from each crafter would still look different '.
Soon there were 3000 swords and 800 armour in Peter's inventory.
Peter placed the armours as a group of 20 and the weapons separately.
'Once these sell out I will have a lot more money.'
Blackbeak has an incoming mail.
'That was fast. Someone already checked out my items.'

Hi,
I saw your armours and weapons on the market. I was wondering if you would like to work with our guild. We are looking for an exclusive...
]
Peter closed and deleted the mail.
'Sorry, there is not enough time for me to work like that.'
But Peter was still bombarded with mails like that till night. This made him extremely annoyed.
After a few more minutes of this, Peter chose to log out and rest for a while.
"Hey, you look grumpy today."
Sicily was in the kitchen with the other girls trying to make something.
"People keep mailing me for exclusive deals."
"Ooo, there is no way you can get away with that. But tell me why are there that many people looking for you? You must have made something good."
"I just made a few new common gear sets and placed them in the auction house. Some guys noticed it and started mailing me to join their guild."
"What set?" Sicily started scrutinizing him expectantly.
"Soldier set."
Anya sprayed out the lemon juice she was drinking on top of Mary. Mary screeched and jumped back knocking down a bunch of plates. Sicily's eyes which were staring at Peter spaced out for a few seconds.
"You are Blackbeak?" Sicily asked slowly.
Mary who was now on the floor surrounded with broken plates pierced her ears towards Peter. Anya just stood to the side apologising between her hiccups.
Peter slowly responded, "Yes. What's wrong?"
Slowly everyone clamed down and Mary changed to a new skirt. Sicily explained what had happened in the game that day.
The common soldier set item was more powerful than the other items made by other tier 2 blacksmiths. None of the other blacksmiths was able to craft armours which had so many bonus attributes attached to them. Also, most have assumed that it might be from the skills of a unique class.
"I heard Rising sun offered 10 million bucks a month for blackbeak to join them. So, how many did you craft?"
"About 800 armours and 3000 swords."
"Are you planning to make more?"
"Yeah, it's good money."
"I bet. Looks like you won't have any issues making the gold anymore."
After a short pause, Sicily continued.
"You might want to charge dollars instead of coins soon. There are only so many coins, your products won't make enough money that way. I could act as a liaison in between if you would like."
"How much money are we talking here? I still need gold in the game."
"Yeah but the dollar to gold exchange is soon going to be active. You want to sell out all your gold before that. Well, if you bargain right one of those armour sets could sell for 10000 dollars on an average."
"That much?"
"1000 dollars is 1 gold. I'm pretty sure the armour set can fetch a nice 10 gold each. Besides if you sell them with real money the big guilds would definitely pay more."
"That's fine I can convert that money back to gold once the exchange starts. This is perfect. So how do we do it?"
"There is one catch." Sicily slowed down a bit. "I will take a 10% commission for helping."
"Well, ten percent is one gold coin... So let's go with 5%."
"No way, I'm taking 10. Just suck it up."
"Hah fine. I was just teasing you."
"Let me go call a future customer."
Sicily went off outside the room with her cellphone. "Hi, David listen..."
When Sicily was out, Anya got close to Peter getting in his face.
"So, you two dating?" Anya asked with her eyes piercing all the way to his brain."
"No, no. Why would you ask something like that?"
"Just asking. So are you going to make a weapon for me too? I could use one of those good swords."
"I will make one. What kind do you want?"
"Greatsword. Make it strong."
"Sure."
Sicily suddenly barged through the door.
"Ok, I got enough orders for a week. So when do you plan on start making armours.?"
"When I get back online. I still need to buy ores. So how many armours do you need? "
"Rising Sun ordered 6000, Calming Mist ordered 4000 and Daylight Glory has ordered 8000. How much can you make in a day?"
'I should hold back a bit.'
"If I put a lot of effort, around 200 to 300."
"Ok, that's fine. The levelling progression is a bit slow past tier 2 so the armour should live for a while. So Rising Sun is making a deal with 10k per piece, but I charged the other two 12k each. Looks like we will have enough money to buy our territory soon at this rate."
"Territory? I saw them. I'm afraid it's not suitable for a small guild. From the limited number of slots available, it looks like they will not be a permanent purchase. I'd suggest you buy a shop or an instance instead."
"That does sound right. Ok, now get back in that cabin and make us some money."
Sicily eagerly pushed Peter to the cabin.
"If you could, please make me a good bow and Mary a healing staff as well."
