The hacker caught our rabbit leader by the throat as he tried to strike him down. The hacker made a blade from fire then struck the rabbit leader through the heart. Our rabbit leader glitched out for a few seconds then disappeared officially killing him.

Great… Now, we have to fight a crazy hacker who has no problem in killing us. And not only that his flames are his activation weapon, it’s strong.

Activation weapon is something everyone gets when they first use the neural cord to enter the coding of anything. The strength of the activation weapon varies from person to person but one thing that is same for everyone: the strength of your activation weapon varies on your IQ so the smarter you are, the stronger the activation weapon.

Jack comes up beside me.

“Got a plan in that head of yours”

“Something similar to a plan...”

“Well... Whatever it is, I’m behind you one hundred percent!”

Just like him to have my back.

I draw the twin katanas strapped to my side.The left katana is jet black from the handle to the metal it’s forged from, the right one is pure white besides that it’s a complete replica of the other one.

“Everyone, listen up! This is a hacker with close range combat skills so everyone with a long range weapons take up a suitable position then everyone with a melee ranged weapon circle around him to keep him boxed in”

No one argued with my order, they just followed. We soon had this hacker boxed in but even if we did have the advantage, I still didn’t feel all that confident about the whole situation.

The long ranged weapon wielders fired off as many attacks as they could but in the end, they just hit a wall of fire that protected the hacker.

The hacker started walking forward to one of the close range fighters.

It was kobold with a shield and mace. The hacker extended their hand to grab ahold of the kobold but it blocked with its shield.

However, the hacker’s hand passed right through it was going straight for the kobolds throat.

I knew what was going to happen and I couldn't just let it.

I charged into the battle. I swung both my katanas down onto the hackers arm. When my swords made contact, the flames around the hacker’s body blocked my swords.

I concentrate all my mind power into my blades as they glow with power, the flames around the hackers arm start to disappear...Finally, an opening!

I think I can hear chuckling coming from the hacker. The hacker pulls its arm back then tries to hit me. I jumped back to avoid being hit.

Four small balls of blue fire appear chains made out of blue fire come at me. I parry the chains with my swords just in time. The hacker walks back to the center of the group while shooting off chains of fire at random people.

The flames around it starts to change more and more until they turn green but the changes did not stop, they soon take the form of me.

This shouldn't even be possible... There is no one in the world who can use the activation weapon to change forms. There must be something else going on here.

In a flash, the hacker appeared before me and swung down. I parried with my sword and then countered with a twin slash from both my swords.

Now, the green armoured samurai figure blocked with its swords. We were quickly locked in a fierce fight. Every move I made, the other green samurai blocked then countered.

Jake came and punched the other green samurai. Unfortunately, it blocked in the last seconds. The green samurai jumped back to safer ground. Once it was far enough, the long ranged fighter started their attack again.

“Thanks, Jake.”

“Anytime, mate!”

“Maybe after this, I’ll buy you a banana”

“I shouldn't have saved your ass...”

Jack rushes off after the green samurai they get into a fierce fight.Somehow this reminds me of my first day at work I couldn’t really make friends or even talk to anyone because of my closed off personality so I was just left all by myself, but then he showed up at first I found his allways happy go lucky personality annoying I even tried to push him away but he never for one second gave up on me after while I opened up and we became even better friend no he became the only person I could really believe in.

Ka-Booom

Their is a large explosion of fire coming from the green samurai. Some of the people closer to the explosion have been blown away.I rush and catch Jack he smiles and gives me a smile and a thumbs up I place him on the floor. The blue flames return around the green samurai, the hacker’s original appearance quickly returns.

It takes a step forward then disappears, I look around afraid that it could be planning a surprise attack.

“Arrrggghhh!!”

I hear screaming coming from where the long range fighters are. I rush over with the other close range fighters. When I get there, I see why people were screaming.

The hacker somehow got over to their position in mere seconds and began its attack so far most of the long range fighters have been killed.

I leapt into the fight. I bring both my swords down onto the hacker so to get his attention from his next victim.

I stand with both my swords pointed at him, ready to strike any moment. Again, the hacker steps forward then disappears, I use my swords to block as many vital points as possible.

A sharp pain comes from my side. I look down and there is a sword made from blue flames embedded in my side... It's gone straight through any defences I had.

The figure leans in close to me.

“011001010100011100”

Before I can think, a big red fist slams into the hacker, sending him flying. He quickly lands onto his feet like nothing ever happened.

“Dammit! Are you alright, Satoshi?”

“Yeah, I’m fine... Just took some light damage that’s all.”

“Maybe you should fall back for a while so your avatar can heal.”

“No way! This is just getting fun like a raid boss inside Elemental Online!!!”

“You're just insane!!”

“Maybe or I’m just a super genius!”

“Nope… Insane...”

“Buuuzzzz!!”

A loud buzzing noise erupt into the air. I see all the people who are fighting the hacker go flying

Some of them fly so far, they fall of the edge of the platform and fall into the deep chasm of code that lies beneath our feet. I hope that they die quickly at least painlessly.

I look back at the hacker who has now become a figure draped in pure white fire.

“... Hahahaha...”

The figure starts laughing so much its chest heaves up and down. Is it mocking us?

“You bastard!”

As a bear shaped avatar with glowing claws charges at the white flaming figure, others join in the charge.

The white flames around the figure start to take shape they turn into wings on the hackers back.

Bolts of white flames shoot off of the wings and streak across the sky. The bolts embed themselves into the people charging, killing them instantly.

Some of the bolts head towards me.

I can’t move my body... I have no idea why maybe fear or some other reason but as I saw those bolts of white flame coming towards me, I knew I was going to die and I could accept that.

Before I knew it, Jack jumped in front of me and shielded me from death, the bolts of white flame skewed through Jack’s entire body.

“... Jack...”

My voice came out rasp and croaky.

He just look over his shoulder at me and smiled.

Then he shattered into nothing. I don’t know what emotions I am feeling right now.

Maybe anger, sadness or grief. The only thing I knew was that I couldn't stop staring at the place where my best friend had just died.

I looked up at my friend's killer and saw the hacker preparing another attack. At that moment, I only knew one thing: I was going to kill this person, no matter what.

I tried to stand up but my legs would not listening to me. I gritted my teeth and tried to use pure will but could get nowhere.

Another attack was came...

A massive light blue beam hit into the hacker, the wings turn into a shield that blocks out the beam. I look at where the beam came from, it was from a male floating in the sky. He had combed back blue hair, his face was in its twenties. He also had long pointed ears, his attire was a fancy blue suit.

Strapped onto the blue suit was a golden pin that could only mean one thing: this new person on the scene was one of the six chairmen of Invision corp.

“So you're the hacker... Let's see what you have got.”

The beam intensified. The hacker paid no mind to the guy in the blue suit. He just stared at me for a few seconds then started walking back to the firewall that he had originally been working on.

“Are you ignoring me, you filthy hacker?”

The beam now reached a whole new level, so much the terrain around started to change the platform was cracking in places.

Incredible... This person is this strong.

But still the hacker pain no mind to the attack and just casually walked up to the firewall, the hacker placed its hand onto the wall.

There were a few sparks then the wall disappeared and the hacker walked through escaping for good.

“Fucking shit whore bitch!!! System: log me and all survivors out!!!”

I was quickly logged out.
