《Who Cares!!?》Chapter 8

‘Huh, where’s Asuna?’
Alex looked around, and there was no one in the hall.
‘I’m late!!’
He took off.
Hikaru’s class was on the ground floor while Alex was on second.
--No wonder he kept me for so long he knew he couldn’t be late, but I could.
Alex made it to class, and it had already begun. He tried to sneak in and heard a sudden, loud fake cough.
‘I’m late, and it’s his period, great.’
By his, he meant Professor Hibiki. For some reason, they both hate each other, but not only Alex. Prof. Hibiki looks down on every student.
‘Alex, you’re late, aren’t you? Such tardiness is not acceptable at all.’
‘Sorry, sir. It won’t happen again.’
‘Yes, I will make sure it won’t happen again. That’s why I have to punish you.’
Alex knew where this was going.
‘However, as I am kind, I will let you go if you can answer my question, if not, severe punishment awaits you, young man.’
This was Prof. Hibiki’s daily routine.
The man simply loves humiliating students. He has the habit of not only punishing someone but also completely humiliate him first.
No one can answer his questions.
Alex was thinking about the same thing.
He knew the question was a greater punishment than the punishment itself, and he could not avoid it. With a gloomy face, he took a deep breath.
‘So, what do I have to do, sir?’
‘It’s simple. You only have to translate this sentence, and you are free to go.’
‘Translation? Isn’t this computer’s class.’
With a smug face Pro. Hibiki replied,
‘Yes, you just have to translate this.’
He wrote on the board.
0101100101101111011101010010000001100001011100100110010100100000011100110111010001110101011100000110100101100100
‘Teacher that’s computer language.’
Yuuto protested.
‘Exactly, befitting a computer’s class. Now Alex, translate it.’

This was Prof. Hibiki’s new way of humiliating students.
‘How can I?’
Alex looked blankly at the board.
'You can’t, how stupid can you be? Here I will even show you the binary code for each letter for about 30 sec, that should make it easy for you.’
Prof. Hibiki waved a paper in front of Alex’s face. Alex could read the page, but he couldn’t make sense of anything.
‘Time’s up, now translate this.’
--Good luck kid, it took me three whole years to able to write and read like this. There’s no way you can do it in 30 sec.
He smiled to himself.
Alex hopelessly took the marker and went to write on the board.
Looking at it in despair, something suddenly clicked.
’Oh, it reads “I LIKE BOOBS”’
There was complete silence in the class.
‘Teacher, you are terrible.’
A girl said from the back.
’Wh-what…no it doe-doesn’t say that, it says “NICE TO MEET YOU,” anyway since you tried, I will let you go just this once, so go to your seat Alex’
It’s like somebody just punched Prof. Hibiki in the stomach.
’No, it doesn’t. See “NICE TO MEET YOU” is written like that.’
Alex wrote on the board.
010001100110111101110010001000000111011101100001011100110111010001101001011011100110011100100000011110010110111101110101011100100010000001110100011010010110110101100101
The teacher knew Alex was right.
The thought of him actually translating the sentence never crossed his mind, that is why he carelessly wrote that.
‘Now, Alex. go to your seat and let me erase this.’
’Why don’t you admit that you wrote “I LIKE BOOBS,” it’s not that big of a deal.′
Alex knew he shouldn’t have said that, but he said it anyway. An impulse of mischief grew in Alex.
He wasn’t about to let this chance go and began pressuring the Professor.
‘Just admit it, there is nothing wrong with that.’

’Sh-SHUT UP! How can you accuse me of such a shameless act?
Prof. Hibiki was panicking. He could hear his heart beating loudly. Sweat started to appear on his face.
--What do I do? What should I say? Damn it! Why Him? Why today?
These thoughts were racing in his mind. He was even regretting his choice of becoming a teacher.
It is natural for human beings to have their brains stop working when they panic, logic, and reasoning stops. When this happens, primitive instincts take over.
To put it in a nutshell, they go on the offensive, and that never ends well.
‘I see now. I understand what you are trying to do perfectly.’
--Oh no.
Alex knew he set off a bomb.
’So, you’re saying that I am wrong and YOU are right. That means you must be smarter than me, is that right?’
‘I never said-’
‘That’s right, you think you are smarter than me, don’t you?’
Prof. Hibiki was amplifying the situation many times more than it was. He was making things worse than it actually was. He lost it.
The entire class was watching the man fell apart over this.
The lesson to be learned here is to never write “I LIKE BOOBS” even as a joke. You may end up like Prof. Hibiki.

An Un-Ideal Eternity
An Un-Ideal Eternity is about a man named Desmond, who is killed, revived, and then finds himself immortal in a post-apocalyptic society. Just because it’s a society doesn’t mean that either he or “they” have to be civilized. And just because a gentleman has become immortal does not mean that he has no dangers to be wary of. The good news is that he’s been afforded some very kind and very generous ministrations from his future-self. The bad news is that all those efforts might still not be enough, to allow our hero, to live in as untroubled and as un-tumultuous a manner as he’d prefer.

Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Crossposted with WordPress site, Wattpad, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.
