Chapter 2- The return of Ye Zheng?(1)

A handsome youth sat on a boulder not far from the village, he was wearing white robes that contrasted the night sky. He looked at the village and thought "So this is the place where the original owner of this body came from, Since I Ye Zheng share the same name as you and took over your body, I shall fufil your dying wish!"

The original owner of the body was a village boy named Ye Zheng, he was neighbour to this girl called Chen Qing yan and had loved the girl very much, However one day, the son of the local tyrant, Li Meng came to her and told her to climb onto his bed, Ye Zheng snapped, he tried to protect his childhood friend, however was overpowered and killed, his dying wish was for the girl he loved so much to be saved from that pervert.

The current owner of the body is also called YeZheng, he had been the vice leader of an Assasin guild that was from another world, he had been backstabbed by his lover and as a result died. he had woken up in this body, suprisingly he found a ring that contained a soul that claims to be a powerful cultivator called Patriarch Lotus, Ye Zheng didn't believe the soul at first, but soon he did, his cultivation had improved so much that it was downright unatural in the span of a few months.

With his gaze not leaving the village he spoke "Patriarch Lotus, what is the peak existance in this village?" an old man appeared before him floating. "The peak existance here is at the middle stage of apprentice realm, with your current progress you can crush him in a year or so." "This matter cannot wait, I have to do it now." Ye Zheng replied his voice carried out the message that he would not budge on his descision.

He was never a good man to begin with,afterall he did rise through the ranks of the assasin guild and became the vice leader, meaning he had killed atleast a thousand people, but he values relationships and promises more than anything, it is also his ultimate downfall. He could not just let his promise of fufilling the boy's last wish be broken.

"*sigh* fine, sure, whatever, I have just cultivated back to the master realm, so you can let me posses you when you go in and kill that guy or whatever."

It wasn't that the old man was being stingy, he was injured and almost killed long ago, only his soul survived, he hid in his ring that can store anything in a space and went into deep slumber, he was woken up by this boy who had taken the ring from a cave.

He needed time to recover his cultivation back to his peak, but even then he needed a body, so he made a pact with Ye Zheng that while he would give Ye Zheng resources and cultivation methods, Ye Zheng would promise to make him a body when Ye Zheng reaches the desired cultivation level that can manipulate matter.

Right now he has been able to recover to the strenght of a Master realm cultivator. But by possesing Ye Zheng and lending his power, it means that a lot of his cultivation will go away because of him having to leave the body right after, as some his cultivation will stay in the boy and allow him to breakthrough easily.

Ye Zheng spoke his thanks and sat down in a lotus position, there was spirtual energy crackling around him, it was the signs of the peak of the body tempering realm!

The body tempering realm is the stage in which the cultivator tempers their body to be able to withstand the spiritual energy in the world, spirtual energy is everything to cultivators, but if a non cultivator tries to absorb them they will imediately die from the pressure and energy they contain, therefor one must temper their body.
