The next day, the child was still staring at the stars. The ever-moving stars. He looked back down at the ground, seeing the remnants of the fight against the horde. A massive pool of blood covered the ground, parts of various monsters littered everywhere. A few fires were still burning, the smell of burning flesh reaching him up here.
The child looked back at the stars. More are coming, aren't they, Amon?
...Yes.
The child nodded, looking back at the stars, which were beginning to grow bigger. There was no time left. If the stars were growing bigger, he had been noticed, and they were currently teleporting here. He jumped off the observatory once more, landing in the pool of blood and splashing it everywhere.
The scent of burning flesh strengthened. The child walked up to the front door, opening it. He immediately grabbed the first soldier he saw. "Tell the Breaker, Nightingale, and the captain that there's more coming. They're likely stronger, so everyone is recommended to activate some kind of teleportation and leave. If you have nothing, I can set up a portal."
The soldier, blanching, nodded, running into a random hallway. The child looked at the stone walls, and the 'function over fashion' design of the whole place. This would likely be destroyed tomorrow.
He stepped outside, pulling up a chair of blood to sit on. The child covered it with a thin membrane of air, not allowing his backside to get soaked. Amon pulled out a sword for him, and he sat, waiting for them to arrive. Soon, he sensed teleportation magic from within the building, a portal activating so the group could all leave. A familiar voice called out to him. "Kid, get over here!"
The child looked back at the Breaker and Nightingale. A memory appeared in his head, of three people standing against the world. He shook his head. These weren't those two people. "I cannot. They have a teleportation barrier set up to block only me. Besides, I've been in this position before, I think. I will die once more, but I will win in the end. Good will succeed."

The chair dissipated. The enemy was getting close.
The Nightingale nodded. She understood. It was his decision, and only he knew all the reasons. The Breaker, however, did not. "Kid, get over here. With your skill, we can definitely get through the barrier and all of us can leave-"
His sentence cut off as the Nightingale bashed him over the head. "I hope I'll see you in another one of your lives, and that you remember me."
The child turned completely to face her. "I'll definitely see both of you with all my memories again."
The Nightingale and Breaker left, jumping through the portal, the last of the people on this planet. Now it was only him and whoever was coming.
The child sat as they drew ever closer, waiting for them to arrive, seemingly unconcerned. The moving stars were massive now, covering almost the entire sky, and the child could make out what they were. Giant ships, made of technology available in very few places, each carrying hundreds of people. All to kill him.
The child waited as the ships hit the ground, landing and discharging their armies. Various people stepped out of each one, every person with their own memories and life. He'd gotten past that a long time ago, though. Good was not pacifism. None of the people facing him struck, presumably waiting for orders. Still the child stood, waiting.
The commanders finally arrived. Another man stood in front of the boy, no weapons visible on him. "Forsaken Mantle of Good," the child said with contempt. "You didn't just fall to evil, but take over the entire evil organization controlling the world?
He turned to the next figure, a green-eyed girl staring into the distance, not paying much attention to anything at all. He said nothing to her, simply giving her a nod. Her face did not create an expression, still appearing to ignore him.
The child turned to the last figure, and his face hardened. "The Master," he said, seething. "You have singlehandedly caused all of this evil. With two of your commanders, you're going to kill me once more. You're simply attempting to eradicate the last remaining good in the world, so you can rule. Well, I have news for you. That's not how it's going to work. I'm going to regain my full power, then get even more. That's when I'll destroy you."

In that moment, the child had his first emotion in quite a while. The eighth chain snapped into place, and his consciousness secured itself completely. Power unknown to this planet exploded from him. "Only my enemies are here now, so I can strike with my full power," the child said, an immense aura radiating from him.
The Master waved up the Forsaken Mantle of Good. "Forsaken Good. Take him down. He doesn't have enough power to warrant more than one of you guys right now." He turned to the child. "Kid. Do you really think the Monsters as Men are the real evil agency here? I have a superior."
He smiled at the child, who gave him a smirk back. "He gets to die too, then."
Amon summoned another sword for the child, setting him back to two swords. Forsaken Good shot forward, almost disappearing and appearing behind the boy, but he was already turning, striking with both of his swords. "Breaker's Blade: Strike Ten," the boy said, his words pulling power behind them.
The Breaker's Blade forms hadn't been created by the Breaker. They had been created by a long line of people who had passed it down to this Breaker. The Nightingale's Aria had been composed much in the same way.
"Break Before My Blade."
The world washed away before the boy, its very existence shattering as Forsaken Good stood in the face of the attack. The boy raised his swords, bringing them down to cut an X directly across Forsaken Good's chest. Forsaken Good countered by raising a single palm. The blades clashed uselessly against it, Forsaken Good smiling.
"Boy, know my name. I am Jack."
"Should I care?," the child asked.
"Yes," came the reply. "For I'm going to take your life now. No matter how many times you resurrect, we'll kill you before you're strong enough to fight us. No matter how many times you come back to life, evil will reign. Besides, your resurrections will run out eventually. Also, both of our names start with a 'J', so that's fun."
His other hand slammed against the boy, caving his ribs in and sending him flying, directly into the ground, creating a bigger crater than his attack had. The boy, with his ribs caved in, spoke once more. "Every resurrection, I get stronger, experiencing new things and winning against new enemies every time. I will win before you end good, idiot."
The last of the child's memories returned. They had been streaming back into his mind during this fight, but every single one was stuffed in there now. He had been a hero, helping as many people as possible within his organization.
He'd lost hundreds-no thousands of people whom he'd fought alongside, all dying in order to better the organization they had created together.
Then the unthinkable happened.
The organization had turned to evil, so he had been forced to come back and do everything himself and eradicate them all. "Goodbye, Forsaken," the boy said, his last words before making his blood explode within him.
As he died, his mind searched through all of his memories, attempting to find the one which would give him his organization's old name, before it'd fallen to evil. He never discovered it, even as he fell into darkness.
