We were cautious.

We didn't know what kind of magic this demon has. it could have curse magic, or fire, or dark. eve thou i would never die because of my my stats being all infinite, i was still scared somehow. i knew that i could kill this demon in one punch, kick, slash, or even touch, so i let Elizabeth fight this. but, being the helpful person i am, i appraised him.

He has Dark, Fire, and curse. damn this demon has talent. and he's about the only one that I've seen that has all 3-digit stats except for luck.

"Hey, Elizabeth. you'll be fighting on your own." [Henry]

"Huh? why?" [Elizabeth]

"Since i'll just one-shot the demon, i'll just join in if something happens." [Henry]

"Fine." [Elizabeth]

So Elizabeth engages battle with the arch devil. the arch devil makes an enraged face, but it only scared Elizabeth a little.

(I wonder why Elizabeth is so fearless.)

The demon opens the purple book and begins to chant. Elizabeth saw this as a chance and charged at the arch devil. but she was to late, the devil was already finished with his chant and a ball of darkness was formed. the demon grabbed the ball and crushed it to the ground. then suddenly a shadow of Elizabeth was formed, but in 3D. then a shadow of me appeared as well.

(Is it like the the shadow from the myth of Zelda?)

It has the same figure, but completely black, and has red eyes. my shadow's attacks were weak, it was just punches and kicks over and over. i think the shadow's stats comes from the stats of appraisal. i punched the shadow and it disappeared into black smoke. meanwhile, Elizabeth stopped and had a stance. the shadow copied her stance.

Elizabeth attacked the shadow, the shadow parries the attack, and attacks as well. then she parries, then the shadow parries, then just a massive amounts of time, wasted on parries. Elizabeth finally killed the shadow. and charges to the arch devil again. the arch devil charges as well, and it slashes Elizabeth in the shoulder. Elizabeth attacks again, but it was useless. just slash after slash, and she finally fell on her knee, but had the rapier as a crutch. the devil was only lightly scratched.

"I must not lose!" [Elizabeth]

"Who told you to win?" [Henry]

"My pride!" [Elizabeth]

"So you're one of those girls..." [Henry]

"What do you mean!?" [Elizabeth]

"Nothing." [Henry]

"I'll just take it from here before you die." [Henry]

"Fine! but i'll get the next one, okay!" [Elizabeth]

"Okay." [Henry]

I stepped in the devils way, and the devil stopped. it was giggling, then chuckling, the finally laughing out loud. wow, even a demon has a sense of humor.

The demon charged at me, then slashes at me with full force. the demon thought that i have died, but i was only behind him. i tapped his shoulder, and he looked behind him. he saw me still alive and breathing. the demon became confused, but soon after, he slashes at me. i stopped it with my hand, then i punched him in the gut. and his gut blew up. just pieces of him everywhere, my clothes completely covered in blood, his lower body falling down on the ground, and an ear again on my hair.

(Why always an ear on my hair?)

Eight levels huh. Well my strength doesn't really equal to my level.

Then i saw Elizabeth, with a shocked face, well that's pretty common i guess when you see a fat man just obliterate an arch devil.

"That was amazing!" [Elizabeth]

"Yes! praise me for my absolute destructive power!" [Henry]

"I shall praise thee, the ultimate cheater!" [Elizabeth]

"Ugh!" [Elizabeth]

"Oh yeah. give me a sec." [Henry]

I activated [Heal] and some light was surrounding my hand. i placed my hand on all of the injuries that Elizabeth had, it instantly healed the wound. just one touch, then completely healed. it was amazing! but i couldn't heal one place since it was, in a certain place.

Right after i finished healing Elizabeth, it seems that the other parties has arrived. so i quickly took the ear of the arch devil off my hair, and flew back to Fenrig. while flying, i was bored, so i started a conversation.

"What abilities do you want, Elizabeth?" [Henry]

"Nothing really. i only rely on my strength and my mastery of the sword." [Elizabeth]

"So... no cheats?" [Henry]

"Yes, no cheats." [Elizabeth]

"Except for this one, cause this is awesome!" [Elizabeth]

"Yeah flying is awesome." [Henry]

"Oh! we didn't take the skills of the arch devil." [Henry]

"Well, i didn't really needed to take it. because i have you." [Elizabeth]

"Wow. that's the best thing a girl has ever said to me." [Henry]

"Really?" [Elizabeth]

"Yeah." [Henry]

"..." [Henry]

"..." [Elizabeth]

"well, sorry for making this really awkward." [Henry]

"Yup." [Elizabeth]

After that awkward conversation, we finally arrived at fenrig. we landed at our wooden house. i used [Cleaning Magic] to clean the blood off of myself, and Elizabeth. after that, we went to fenrig. When we reached the gate, as always, the guard stopped us. we showed our id's and then we entered Fenrig.

We went straight to the adventurer's guild, opened the door and placed the piece of ear on the counter.

"Um... this is?" [Alisa]

"The body part of the arch devil in the mission to hunt down the arch devil." [Henry]

"I am terribly sorry, but that quest has already been finished."

"What?" [Henry]

"Really?" [Elizabeth]

"It was completed by the adventurer Cory Glifit." [Alisa]

I remember that f*cking name. that a*shole! he took my god damn reward! where did he even get the part?

"Excuse me, but may i see the body part that was submitted?" [Henry]

"certainly." [Alisa]

Alisa the put out an ear also. i obviously appraised it.

"That Alisa, is fake." [Henry]

"Excuse me?" [Alisa]

"It is but, a goblin ear, that is meant to look like an ear from the Arch Devil." [Henry]

"I'm sorry, we have not yet confirmed if it's genuine. may i please take the ear in your possession? for the event of the first ear being fake." [Alisa]

"Here you go." [Henry]

"Thank you. please come back tomorrow for a response." [Alisa]

"Bye Alisa." [Henry]

Well, that takes care of that. Cory will be arrested for fraud, and i'll get back the reward. it was midnight, we decided to go to sleep. we then left Fenrig, and went to the the wooden house. Elizabeth went in first ans lied down on her bed. i lied down to, and just drifted away in my sleep.
