I begin walk around the town... Unlike my first walk, this time I took notice of every building, the signs, what was in the windows.

It all seemed pretty normal, exactly like what master told me: you would only see something interesting when exploring big cities.

After I have walked around the entire town, I sit down on a bench…

Is there anything to do in this place?

If there was a church, I would pray to the god of death Hades but for some reason there is not a single church in the town.

I can see some logic in it: what if every person prays to a different god? Then it could start some trouble in town so it does make some sense...

Then I hear GRRROWL.

I look down at my stomach... I haven't eaten anything since breakfast and it's already past midday.

I should probably get something to eat but how? I don't have any money…

I know! I can do some hunting! If I kill a monster then hand in the valuable parts into the hunter guild then I should be able to make some money!

But what should I hunt? There should be some [Stone Claw Wolves] in this area but they are always in pack of at least 10 so that will be more of a hassle…

What about [White Tailed Apes]? They only ever travel in groups of at least 3 and they're tougher so the hunter guild will pay more.

Okay, it's decided! I will hunt [White Tailed Apes]!

I stroll into the forest. I knew the traits of my prey so it would be easy to hunt them down but I have a better idea...

I walk deeper into the forest until I am dead center in the [White Tailed Ape] territory then I start looking around until I find a nice patch of grass I sat down and started to meditate.

I have been meditating for a good 20 minutes so the apes should know I am in their territory but maybe I should just push my luck a little…

I start pissing everywhere, I want to make this clear: this is my territory now not theirs. I sit down and in no less than 5 minutes, 10 [White Tailed Apes] appear all looking really pissed flexing their muscles covered in red fur.

I draw my sword and grin like a madman.

"Now then, let's have some fun!"

3 apes rush me so I rush forward to meet them.

I bury my sword into the first one’s chest and kill it then pull out my blade and rush to the next one but this one's quicker it sends a punch aimed at my face.

I dodge to the side but it was mistake 2 of them were waiting for me. I block their assault of punches with my sword but I still take some light damage.

Before I know it, I'm surrounded... Then they all charge at me.

I swing my sword in a circle, giving them a few some light scratches. They start circling me like a wounded prey

Ha... They think they have me?

Well then, they're stupider than I thought. I charge and I get close to one.

I throw my sword to the right, hitting another one in the shoulder. The one in front looks dazed just long enough for me to strike a open palm strike to the chest then 2 punches to the neck, killing it.

Now with that out of my way, I run till I get to a tree then I start climbing, the apes follow me but not the one with my sword still in it's shoulder.

I continue to climb until I am up really high then I leap off and land on one of the ones following me.

I stomp on it's face until it let's go and ride it to the ground floor then I ran at the one still on the floor. It looks scared but still ready to face me.

Just before I reach it, I activate my [Sword Mark]. It starts starts glowing a bright light I feel my body getting lighter everything slows down.

The ape throws a punch with the uninjured arm, I dodge then punch it in the chest crushing it then I pull my sword from it's shoulder ready or not here I come.

With my mark now active, I run up to the tree.

The 2 apes have already climbed down but with my active mark, I quickly finish them. I stab one though the head and then I twirl my body in the air, giving a deep cut to the neck of the other one and it bleeds out quickly so now it's over for them.

But not their friends I look up and one decided to fall on me, I try catch him but he's heavy then I feel a sharp pain through my shoulder.

the fucker is biting me! I plunged my sword through it's head and it dies.

Fuck... He really took a big bite.

I run up the tree slashing and killing any more apes. After I was done, there were all on the floor, dead.

I climbed down, turned off my mark then felt sick and threw up. After that, I felt really tired and all my injuries felt really bad but this was the price for using the mark twice in such quick sessions.

I would throw up most of the time but always feel really tired afterwards this was the first time using it in combat so soon after just using it, my body worked perfectly. But if it was a long fight, it would have been a lot more pain but I can't stop, I need to cut the apes up and get some place to rest.

I cut up the apes. First, the tails then some bones and organs. By the end, I would probably look like a mess covered in blood and everything but I don't care…

I store the ape parts in some of the satchels I have on me and I start my long walk back.

The guards this time even stop me at the gate.

"What is your purpose here and why are you covered in blood?"

"I was out hunting and I collected some materials. I wish to sell them in the town that's also how I got covered in blood."

"Okay but if you try anything in there, you will answer to me."

Fuck, this guy think he can intimidate me just because he is a low level grunt in a piece of shit village. I could have killed him 10 times by now but I didn't.

I just bit my lip and walked along while swearing in my head, I got a lot of looks from inside the village all of fear.

When I got to the hunter guild, I saw the building it was smaller than the adventurer's guild. It is only one stories with 2 windows and a door at the front.

I entered and saw the walls covered in old looking monster parts all from exotic monster then I saw a young girl with a uniform on. I walked up to her but she didn't seem to care that I was covered in blood. I suppose she’s used to because of where she worked.

"Hello sir, what can I do for you?"

"I would like to sell these parts from a few [White Tailed Ape]."

I hand over the satchels containing the [White Tailed Ape] parts. The girl takes them then looks through the satchels then closes them and hands them back to me.

"I can pay you 3 gold for all this."

"Seems fair deal."

This time she takes the satchels into the back room. I wait for 5 minutes looking around at all the exotic animal parts until she comes back.

She passes me my satchels back to me then hands me my 3 gold coins and I start to walk out with nothing else to say.

By the time I leave the hunter guild, it is starting to get dark so I decided to sleep at the inn the Mr Kris recommended.

I already found it on my walk it was a tall big inn same size as the adventurers guild but not looking as sturdy it takes me a few minutes to get there receiving the same looks but I don't pay any attention once I get to the inn.

The sign outside reads [Airloft] so I enter through the doors and arrive in a restaurant the ground floor is a restaurant and the next floor is for guests to sleep in.

As I start walking to the counter, a few people leave, others draw their weapons but all have the same emotion on their faces: fear, even the desk girl.

Once I get there, she seems very scared that is until an old gentleman walks over in a suit and tie. He must be the owner.

He places his hand on her shoulder and she leaves very quickly.

"Sorry about that but she has not worked here long and does not know how to deal with hunters so what can I do for you?"

"Room, one night..."

"Okay then, that will cost you 25."

I hand him a gold coin. At first, he seems surprised but then he open the register, places the gold in and takes out 25 silver and hands it to me along with my room key.

"Your room is on the second floor to the right three doors down."

I take my leave to get to my room. I get more stares into the back of my head but I pay no attention.

Once I get inside, I am really surprised of how nice it is. There's a big bed a desk a dresser a bathroom with a sink, a bathtub and even a toilet.

Really? Everything you could want and for such a cheap price. What a deal!

I took off my gear and left on my white T-shirt and blue shorts, went into the bathroom and filled the tub with water.

I was surprised the first time I saw plumbing in this world but apparently instead of a lot of complex pipes they use simple magic. I asked master when I would learn magic but he said when I was ready. I hope that's soon.

I start washing my clothes so that I can get all the blood off it. It takes some scrubbing but in the end, I get there.

I dry them off with a towel then leave them in on top of the dresser to dry off then I return to the bathroom replace the bloody water with hot water and take a nice long bath.

After that, I check the doors and windows so that there are no intruders.

Then collapse into bed and fall asleep.
