《Rebirth Of A Serial Killer》Chapter 6 - Pursuers
Advertisement
A youth that doesn't look over the age of seventeen laid below an apple tree. The season was spring, sprouting multiple red apples. The wind blew gently, swaying the leaves of the apple tree.
*Snap*
A red apple broke free from the restraints of the stems, falling towards the ground. The red apple landed on top of the head of the youth.
***
White Rose's eyes shot open after feeling something hit is head. Looking around he was in an open field. Below him laid a red apple, the red apple looked appetizing.
Grabbing the apple, he took a large bite. Crunching the apple in his mouth, bringing a large smile to his face.
'This is the best-tasting apple I've ever had!'
*Boom!*
White Rose's head shook, thousands of memories filled his mind. Though they weren't his, they were someone named Zuhn Sheng.
This Zuhn Sheng was an Entrance-Level Magic Caster. (AN: White Rose = Zuhn Sheng, using that name from now onward.)
Although Zuhn Sheng was an Entrance-Level Magic Caster he was targeted by multiple sects in the area. The sects that killed him was none other than Mortal Sects.
Looking through the memories, Zuhn Sheng was able to find the names of three Mortal Sects. Dark Star, Ancient Claw Fighters, and Mysterious Bandits.
The three Mortal Sects were very powerful and they were known to team up to attack low-level Magic Casters to stop them from becoming more powerful.
Many of the experts in the Mortal Clans reached levels of Tier-2 SwordMasters. Tier-2 SwordMasters was a huge and terrifying existence. Just one Tier-2 SwordMaster was able to kill a whole army of regular soldiers.
Thus, SwordMasters were not only feared by the Kingdom by most of the world. The only people not afraid of SwordMasters were Magic Casters.
Magic Casters have extraordinary power, able to kill armies of SwordMasters with powerful spells. Magic Casters are very powerful, though they are quite rare to find and they number only in the thousands.
Not to mention joining a powerful Magic Caster Sect which was almost impossible because of all the Mortal Sects hunting down Entrance level Magic Casters.
***
After the memories settled down inside of the new Zuhn Sheng's head he looked out in front of him. He was sitting in an open field, with grass as far as the eye can see. A couple of trees filled with multiple colors were scattered throughout the fields of green.
From his memories, the old Zuhn Sheng was hunted down and fought many of the sect members from Mysterious Bandits. Even though Zuhn Sheng was able to kill countless of the Bandits he still was stabbed in the chest.

Once being stabbed in the chest, Zuhn Sheng ran as fast as he could and sat up against an apple tree to rest.
Knowing that the old Zuhn Sheng died, he wanted to avenge his past self.

80 KM Away
In a large green forest, several members of the Mysterious Bandits were on the large trees of the forest. The scouting members were looking around in different directions trying to find a clue that will lead them to Zuhn Sheng.
"Wolfie!"
A man wearing a wolf mask along with a fur coat covering his body looked towards the sound of the voice.
"I need you to find this son of a bitch, we can't let him enter any Magic Caster Organizations!"
Wolfie nodded his head and brought his nose to the ground in hopes to find a scent and track down Zuhn Sheng. After sniffing around for multiple minutes, Wolfie brought up his head and pointed towards the east.
"Good! Let's get going."
All of the twenty Mysterious Bandits raced off to the east with their weapons held tight at their waists.
***
Zuhn Sheng still sat under the tree, getting used to his new body. Looking down at himself, he looked slightly older than his old body. His body was covered in muscles along with several cuts that lined his whole body.
After checking his pockets he was able to find a small book. The book read, 'Basic Fundamentals of Fireball'. Zuhn Sheng knew that his old self was an Entrance Level Spell Castor, but he didn't quite understand what that meant.
Looking through the book, Zuhn wasn't able to understand a single thing. Everything was complete gibberish, besides the word 'Fireball'. Fireball was clearly written at the top of the page. A small diagram was below the word showing a small red orb.
"There he is!"
A stern voice sounded from in front of Zuhn Sheng. Looking up, Zuhn Sheng saw a man with a large sword in his hand with several others with daggers and other weapons behind him.
The men behind the man were using bows, crossbows, daggers, staffs, and maces. All of the men had a different type of animal on their bodies.
The man with the sword had a lion face covering his head, while a man behind him was wearing the skin of a wolf. Just from looking at the men, Zuhn was able to realize that they were fairly powerful.
Much more powerful than Zuhn's current self. Not knowing what to do, Zuhn turned around and ran away. He was trying to run fast, but couldn't tell if he was making an escape from the men behind him.

Turning to look behind him for a split second, Zuhn was able to notice the men were getting closer, in fact, Zuhn running was worthless compared to the speed of the men behind him.
When several seconds went by that felt like minutes one of the men from behind shot an arrow at Zuhn. The arrow flew over Zuhn's left shoulder before hitting the ground in front of him.
This, of course, scared Zuhn, causing himself to start jumping while he ran away. More arrows started to rain down, most of the arrows missed while others left small cuts on Zuhn's body.
Luckily, far in front of Zuhn was a large stone gate. Running with all of his speed, he tried to make it close to the stone gate. Though, the men behind him sought out his plan right when he created it.
The man in the wolf mask jumped forward with great speed and brought out his sword. On his way back down to earth, the man took a large swing at Zuhn Sheng.
Looking back, Zuhn Sheng noticed the man coming down at him. As the man was coming down towards Zuhn Sheng, a light green barrier appeared around him.
The man used all of his force and smashed against the green barrier. The sword the man was using shattered into a million pieces on impact. Zuhn's face changed from worry to shock in the matter of a couple of seconds.
He couldn't believe what he just witnessed, a light green barrier appeared to protect him from the attack. Even though he couldn't understand the fireball spell, he was happy that he wasn't going to die just when he reborn.
Closer and closer Zuhn got to the stone gate, now he was able to see small specks on top of the wall. The closer he got, the more clear the men on the wall became.
On the wall, many armed soldiers were looking ahead to see a youth running from what looked like twenty or so bandits. The bandits were trying everything they could to kill the youth.
The bandits were sending barrages of arrows, along with sending a powerful man in the air to try and strike down the youth. When the man came from the sky, something blocked the strike. Though they were too far away to see what happened, they were shocked to see the youth survive this long.
"Men! Bandits are chasing a young boy! Get your arrows ready! Calvary get ready! Infantrymen get ready! On my command!"
A man in a large suit of armor had his sword up in the air and looking at all of his men on the wall and below. He waited and waited till the boy and the bandits got into range of the archers.
Once they were in range the man in the suit ordered his men to fire.
"Fire!"
Hundreds of arrows ranging from regular, steel tip, and fire arrows rained down on the bandits. The men on the wall were trained very well and able to miss the youth and till hit the bandits.
Many of the arrows hit their targets, killing the bandits quickly. Though some of the bandits were cutting the arrows in half before they can even reach them.
Next, the Calvary moved out from inside of the gate. The calvary was wearing medium to heavy armor and all of them had large lancers. The cavalry unit rushed forward with their lancers had their sides ready to kill these ruthless bandits.
***
Meanwhile, Zuhn Sheng saw all of the arrows that flew down from the stone walls. Many of the bandits behind him fell from them, but many of them were still alive and trying to kill him.
At the front of the gates, a band of cavalrymen was lining up to rush forward. They all had large lancers at their sides with their whole body covered in thick armor.
A large explosion sounded like a red dot shot into the sky. All of the cavalrymen shot forward with their lancers pointed forward. Each of the men on the horses picked their target.
Zuhn Sheng on the other hand, with the advancement of the bandits being shot at, was able to escape farther forward. Getting away from his pursuers was the first thing he had to do.
In front of Zuhn, there was a large abandoned house, the windows were smashed the house turned light gray. The house looked like it was on the verge of falling apart.
Without thinking, Zuhn jumped forward smashing through the metal gates to get inside of the mansion. After breaking through the gates, Zuhn ran into the abandoned mansion.
