After several hours in this dark and longnight I still haven’t found shelter.
Hmmm? What is that sound? It sounds like screaming.
I flew towards the noise, the sound of screeching and crying mixed as I neared.
“Please! Stop!”
“Why would we, you little pest!”
A small Pokémon was being bullied and tortured by some Mankeys.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!”
I kicked one of them away and made threatening hand gestures.
“You’ll pay for this, little pest! You too, stinky human!” They ran away angrily.
The Pokémon appeared to be a young Sentret.
“Thank you for saving me human, but you didn’t have to.”
“Really? You could have died! Mankeys know no mercy!”
“Maybe, but I didn’t want to bother you.”
This ball of fluff is actually so pure.
So brave and strong even though she is so small.
“What’s your name, small one?”
“My parents named me Wish! Since they thought I was a Wish come true! Maybe a bit cheesy, but I think it’s very sweet!”
Although she was clearly hurt and in a lot pain, she managed to keep smiling. Toby was like that too heh.
“Kid, want to join me on my journeys? I want to save my girlfriend and my friends from the clutches of a group of evil people. I need Pokémon as strong as you to join me on my travels!”
“I would love to! ...however I would just get in the way.”
“No! You wouldn’t be! You would be a huge help. If you weren’t going to be a good companion, I wouldn’t have asked you!”
“Hmmm... Okay! Count me in! However I want to ask you for a favor; I live around here with my little brother and my grandmother. We used to live peacefully but those Mankeys recently started terrorising us. I let myself get beat up so my family doesn’t get hurt again. Can we beat them in a battle together? That way we will make sure they stop?”

“Of course! Now first let me catch you!”
I caught Wish the Sentret and then we went to her family and waited for the Mankeys, she told her family about our plan and that she will be travelling with me. Then the Mankeys showed up.
“I see that big guy still hasn’t left huh? Well we’ll take him down with you little pests then!”
The Mankey’s started charging towards us.
“Alright Wish! First use Sand Attack to create a smokescreen!”
A cloud of dust covered the Mankeys’ vision.
“Their weak points are their tails, just grab those and they will be unable to attack, then knock them out.”
I wasn’t able to see what was going but I heard some Mankey’s screaming so it seemed like out plan was working.
When the dust cleared up. Wish was on a pile of dead Mankeys, looking at me with an innocent face eventhough she was covered in blood. She headed towards me.
“I hope I didn’t do too badly!”
“Are you kidding me? You killed them! That’s more then what I asked for!”
She looked a bit sad.
“It’s a good thing Wish. Now your family will be safe and sound. Go and say your farewells and then we will go on okay?”
She nodded and ran towards her grandma and little brother. Who could have thought there was a killer machine in that little Mon.
Later, she sat on my head and waved goodbye as we took off. Onwards, to save Sophie, my Pokémon and my friends!
