《Pokémon: A Story of the End》Rebirth

“You woke up.”
A tall person wearing a long white coat, who is probably either a professor or a doctor or both, was walking towards me.
“How are you feeling kid?”
My mind was filled with questions: Where am I? Who is this mysterious person? What happened to me? But the first thing I asked was.
“Where is Sophie?”
He sighed deeply.
“Look, I have no idea who Sophie is. Now let me ask you some questions since I’m the professor here. Who are you? Where did you come from?”
“I am Jordy, a Pokémon trainer. The last place I remember was at the Pokémon League.” I answered and followed it by:
“Where am I? What happened to me? Was there a girl near me or Pokémon? Who are you?”
The professor sat down in a chair and started explaining what happened.
“First, let me introduce myself. I am Professor Doctor Ruben. Founder and President of the Wursha’s Experiments on Extraterrestials Base or the WEEB for short, which also the location you are staying at.” “Wursha, that’s Koduku’s old name.” “Yes, we kept the name to remember our origins. Anyways, 6 months ago locals reported seeing a fallen angel and when we searched the area we found you alongside with those.”
Ruben pointed towards the desk besides the bed. On it were feathers, mostly white ones, but red and blue ones were there too. My heart skipped a beat, for a second my body wouldn’t move but then I asked: “Was th-there a Togekiss near me?”
“We thoroughly explored your landing spot. No other signs of life were found. Only you, unconscious and barely breathing, with severe burns, and half a body.” The rapid amount of bad news stunned me for several minutes.

“About your body.” The doctor removed the blankets from the bed and it reveiled something astonishing.
“If it weren’t for the top quality experts, you would have perished. We only saved you since you might have been an angel, however if my intuition is correct, you aren’t one, are you?”
“N-no.” Still stunned, I couldn’t say more than that.
“Well darn. From your facial expressions I can see that you are experience malcontent feelings. So I’ll leave you at this, you are free to do whatever you want now.” He left.
I stood up and held the feathers of my beloved friend closely and let out a few tears.
“He was a dear comrade, wasn’t he?” A softer voice than Ruben’s spoke to me.
“Y-yeah... he was one of the greatest.” I couldn’t stop the tears and continued sobbing.
“Come now, it’s okay. Stop crying now. If I were him, I wouldn’t want to see my friend cry over me. I would want him to be happy and think about all the good things we did together!”
“I w-want to, I really do. I want to smile. I’m an optimist. But how can you when you have lost everything?”
“You don’t know that for sure, all you have are suspicions. Are those suspicions gonna let you down? What a bad optimist you are then.”
“YOU DON’T KNOW HOW I FEEL!” I turn around and there was noone there except a janitor who swept the floor a little faster whilst shaking his mustache in fear.
“No I don’t. I’m just trying to make you feel better.”
I looked downwards to where the voice and to my surprise.
“Yes I’m a Purrloin, and you can understand me.”
I fell backwards onto the bed. The cat Pokémon jumped next to me.

“You see, when you were down and out for the count, they did experiments on you. Mostly your brain though since the rest was basically incinerated. They said that parts of your brains were different from normal humans, that you have the special Pokévoice Recognition thingamajig. Making the theory of you being an ange more viable. Now about that. Most of your body has been replaced with robotic skeleton since it either was too damaged or just not there, but get this, since they thought you were an angel, they added wings that you can activate when you say “Wings activate”, however I recommend that you don’t do it now, maybe try it outside later. Now, since I know how you feel and since I know what they do here. Take this.”
The Purrloin gave me a bag with in it some Pokéballs and a phone.
“This is all I could gather for you. Professor Ruben asked me to give this to you as he also knows what happens to cases like you. I’ll lead you to the exit sneakily and then just follow the dirt path, you’ll cross the border eventually and you’ll head towards to ruins of the old Pokémon League.”
“Thank you.” I said smiling faintly putting Toby’s feathers in my bag.
“Hehe there’s that smile, now follow me.”
The Purrloin guided me to the exit and I silently left the research facility, after a few minutes an alarm sounded.
It became night and it was snowing. My new body heated itself so I didn’t feel cold.
“Wings activate!” It felt the right time to use them so I made them come out.
Wings, made of white, blue and red feathers.
Thank you Toby.
My tears met my smile.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
