When Shad looked at his Free stat points he saw 0 because only 0.1 and above numbers had shown. So killing low tier monsters was an inefficient way of gaining free stat points. Shad didn't want to go that route if he can other ways to gain power.

Terry was waiting for him on the agreed-upon place. When he saw Shad he was surprised. He said, "I thought after you get what you wanted you wouldn't keep your end of the bargain." Shad said, "Then why did you helped me?" Terry answered "I really hate those snobby adventurers, they think they are so high and mighty when they just got a tier. You killed them right?" Shad said, "So about Rosalyn, how we are going to kidnap her?" Terry said "She regularly meets with his lover Tobias out of the town. They don't go far but around that time you can snatch her. Shad said "Ok, I know what you are talking about, I am going to snatch her. But make sure nobody suspects you, today stay in front of the people playing innocent. Tomorrow came to the place you give the poison to adventurers."

Shad watch Rosalyn and Tobias met out of the village palisade. They talked and kissed and walked together being affectionate to each other. Shad just waited. Shad had many plans for Terry. Shad needed a human ally not just for one time but continually.

Shad "Where are the bandits are and why they don't just attack me and take everything I have?" Terry smiled "I don't think they would, I heard they made deals with even with swampers, those monsters are stupider than goblins. And about their place, I heard their hideout not far from here just 20 km that way.

Shad smiled, he had no intention to let go only true leverage he had against Terry. Which was Rosalyn which could be used against Terry as blackmail. That's why Shad said her he is hired by Terry. But he had no place to keep her in the forest. But by giving him a new option Terry brings his downfall.

Shad and Terry give their farewells to each other and this time for real they go their separate ways. Rosalyn Tied from wrists walked behind the orc youngling.
