Chapter Six: All of The Choices
Poppy stripped the fabric with her knife.
I tied the pieces around my calf. Blood soaked into the material and the bleeding slowed down. That didn’t stop the pain. The wound would fester without medicine.
Poppy placed the pieces of the map together.
I angled myself toward her, the grey diamond clutched between my fingers. It had become a versatile weapon for Lark, a killing machine. Nothing happened as I held the object. I slipped it into my pants pocket. It felt warm, even through the fabric.
“They should all fit together,” Poppy said, matching the fragments of parchment.
The little girl’s neck had blood on the side and her tan face was covered in specks of mud. I wet my finger and wiped the mud from her cheeks. She grinned. I flattened out the long wispy bits of her dark hair.
“You are like Cher,” she said.
I smirked. “Who’s that?”
“My older sister.”
My eyebrows went up before I could think twice. I hadn’t imagined Poppy as being part of a happy family. Her reactions to other people pointed to someone from a rough past.
“You must miss her,” I said.
“She left me.” Poppy became quiet for a while.
“I’m sorry to hear that.”
Poppy avoided my gaze, staring at the map instead.
It was the first thing she’d told me about the real world. I didn’t want to bring up difficult memories. Hell was hard enough on its own.
“This place is Burn Town,” she said, pointing at the west coast. “We’re here.”
The continent split in two halves with a large bridge between the two pieces of land.
In the bottom left corner of the Continent, a sketched area of streets and burned down houses had the words ‘Burn Town’ written over the top. The town was outlined by a river labelled ‘The Dark’. There were several small bridges along this river.

‘Old Hell’ took up the North Part of the continent, but there were no details given as to what was inside this area.
To the east, what looked like an inferno had been labelled ‘Fiery fields’. It filled the gap between here and ‘Gun Town’.
Gun Town stretched from the north tip of the continent to the south. There were shops, taverns, recruitment areas, and a council building. It also looked like a tram travelled across the town, but the sketch made it difficult to be certain. A note had been attached to Gun Town --‘Safe area’.
That sounded like a good place to be. With everyone killing each other out here, it would guarantee at least a little down time for my wounds to heal.
Right after Gun Town, a Metropolis lined the east coast of the continent until the central bridge. The bridge connected Heaven’s side to Hell.
This Metropolis area occupied both sides of the bridge and had been labelled ‘All of The Angels’. There was no description as to what actually happened here. But my best guess, was that it either ended up being a war zone or a negotiation area connecting the two realms. Maybe both.
The remaining Heaven side of the continent had a big question mark over it, with the sketch of a castle to the furthest East. Either the people who mapped this never made it that far or there was just nothing there. I leaned toward the former.
“Gun Town could be good,” I said.
Lark had begged us to go to Old Hell. But going off of this map, there was no way to tell what waited for us there. If we didn’t get to safety soon, I’d have bigger problems.
He had also said that I looked like Heavens leader, a person named Adrell. Maybe he’d made a mistake or we just looked similar. It wasn’t hard to imagine. People in the real world looked alike sometimes. I didn’t want to risk another situation like that. The sooner we got off this road, the better.

Poppy frowned at my wound. “I’ll carry you.”
I chuckled. “You aren’t that strong. And, I’m fine to walk.”
“Sometimes I am.” She put her hands under my shoulders and lifted. But I didn’t budge.
“Really, I’ll be okay.”
Poppy pouted, flexing her hands.
“Don’t fuss over me. We’ve got to stay focused.” I stood up. Pain lanced through my calve. I squeezed an eye shut against the pain and hobbled forward, gritting my teeth.
Poppy slung the knapsack with the guns over her shoulder. I waited for her to catch up. She held the map in one hand and wrapped an arm around my waist with the other.
“Maybe we’ll find some bad guys,” she said.
“You can talk them out of their bad ways.”
Poppy smiled. “Definitely. I’ll kill them all.”

Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.

Another world
For some, this old story would always be altered, but the outcome was always the same. 'The Evening Celebration.' Some blame humanity for provoking them, while others accuse monsters from another realm, and a few believed it was all merely the devil's fault. There is now a killer in the city. Attacking all the young ladies, pulling something from within them, and abandoning them on the doorsteps of their loved ones. Exactly similar to the old story. Will this issue ever be resolved, or will it be the start of something new? Ignoring the matter is also an option. Continuing with their everyday routine is generally a wise decision. That's just for the time being, of course. Till the plot leads them to someone they should have never encountered.

The Princess And Her Warmonger
"Let me tell you a true story about a mouse and a Warmonger, and the unlikely relationship that sprouted between them in the time of endless war." Nostalisk is a world in endless constant war. The Factions of this world endlessly fight for power, this fighting called the Great Wars, a war that has been alive for over four million years. Currently, one of the largest Factions has withdrawn from the endless fighting. This Faction, known as the Kingdom, hopes to forget their past of endless bloodshed and how they were almost destroyed because of it. In the Kingdom, Princess Isalene, the only princess of the Kingdom, is stuck choosing a new personal guard after her previous one died. Despite her father, King Robert, helping her choose a new guard, Isalene decides to head to the arena to see how the knights on the list her father gave her act outside of the eyes of royals. When she arrives at the arena, she sees a knight fighting that is not on the list her father gave her. Named Cruel Knight, this knight is a vicious knight with confusing morals. Despite hating violence, Princess Isalene can't help but be drawn to the knight and their graceful yet cruel fighting style and strange weapons. Princess Isalene continues to watch them and soon learns that Cruel Knight is a Warmonger named Sharia, and is female at that, meaning she is a prisoner. She isn't in there for something simple as disobeying a direct order or killing a noble, but for prolonging a war. Despite knowing this, Princess Isalene can't stop thinking about the Warmonger and suddenly gets a "smart" idea. She'll make Sharia her new personal guard to find out more about her! What could go wrong? And so begins the odd relationship between Sharia The Warmonger and Princess Isalene. One is a peace-loving sheltered naive princess who hates violence and the other is a vicious, cold, twisted, and cruel Warmonger who hates the kind of peace Isalene and the current Kingdom loves. Polar opposites. Yet, even the Warmonger can't help but grow a strange liking to her new "annoyance". But, can the two really get along? After all, Sharia's whole mindset sees Isalene as a waste, and it seems that everyone Isalene talks to tells her to fire Sharia before something terrible happens. But, then again, during this time of budding danger, this odd couple may be what the Kingdom needs. After all, when a large faction such as the Kingdom starts growing soft and weak, they become a rather irresistible target. [After thinking on it, I decided to start a re-write of The Princess And Her Warmonger, adding more details, fixing the switching POVs somewhat, and fixing some of the issues with the story. Don't worry, all of the chapters are still here, I am just making new ones and replacing the old chapters one at a time] (This story can also be found on Scribble Hub and Webnovel) [Cover art is not mine]
