I arrived at Khalif's place in Jogja.
he moved out of Jakarta just 4 years ago, I remembered vividly, khalif saying something like 'i'm moving to Jogja to search for opportunities!'. Usually, you go to the capital of a country to search for opportunities, but khalif is built differently apparently.
Though, he said over WhatsApp, 'i got a girlfriend!' in the old Zcorp group chat. I didn't bother opening the group chat and left the notification sitting there.
At least until he said 'i'm engaged'. He then invited all of us, all of his friends, which is just us... kinda sad to be honest. to go to his place and celebrate his engagement, of course, it, it was boycotted by the others.
Still, though they still agreed to come.
After ordering a taxi and arriving at Khalif's place I got a good view of his house, it is an American-style house, with a large garden in front and in the back. His house does not match the surrounding houses. I'm probably the last to come, as when I checked my phone, I was spammed with messages in WhatsApp and discord, a few missed calls, and a couple of death threats.
They said that the celebration won't start without me.
That said, I walked to the house's front door, and rang the bell. I kid you not, the doorbell is a Mario 'yahoo' sound, are you telling me the guy that has a Mario sound effect for a doorbell sound, is engaged to a woman?
Then the door opened, stopped my train of thought and khalif greeted me. He was wearing a fancy tuxedo, with a red tie that has white stripes, he looks.. thinner... And it looks expensive.
"ah! it's Johann! welcome welcome! everyone's been waiting for you!"

"ah..um..hello Khalif.."
Khalif looks more gentlemanly than I remember, does getting a woman change a man that much?
as I stepped in, the inside of his house is also looking elegant, with its polished marble floor, paintings on each side of the wall, and the low temperature here makes the house really feel like a rich person house.
did khalif actually get a decent job? or does he have some sort of shady business? whatever it is, I don't want to know.
I followed khalif to his living room and holy shit, that is a 152 inches 3D Plasma Display, 4.096 x 2.160 pixels Television!
khalif is actually filthy rich!
I hope he doesn't get rich by selling drugs or something.
in his living room, I can see Victor, Aysia, Theodor, and Sinnon having a relaxed conversation they seem to be congratulating Sinnon for their marriage, with envy towards khalif, of course when they noticed me
"hey where have you been you, bastard!"
"khalif here said that the party won't start before you're here" i was berated by death threats
