Tadeas appeared from the other side of the door.

"You are going to testify against us?" Saer looked at Tadeas.

"I am taking you two cunts home." Tadeas said, "Follow me."

"What about my sword?" Saer interrupted.

"It is in the carriage." Tadeas said and began walking.

Both of them stepped out from their cell and began following Tadeas.

"Sorcerer, free us!" captivated men cried.

Tadeas overlooked them all.

Tadeas walked along with those two while the guards watched them with eyes filled with distaste.

Saer got to escape those eyes once he sat inside the carriage.

Fierlo was amused to see that the horses were walking by themselves. Nobody had to guide them.

"What about the law and trial?" Saer said, listening to the horse galloping on its way.

"Do you know why the prince left the castle, refusing the crown?" Tadeas asked.

Nobody had an answer for it.

"Sorcerers can pay blood money for any crime." Tadeas had to continue, "Normal people have to go through legal procedure but anyone associated with someone like me doesn’t have to. Prince wanted to abolish this rule. Little did he know favor that sorcerers had done to Pryeg since centuries. Sorcerers had helped pervious kings defend this tiny kingdom against mighty perils. But Prince had hard time understanding the balance between magic and crown. Every day he felt the balance was leaning in magic's favor. Frustrated, one day the prince left the kingdom for somewhere law was equal for all. I wonder if he found it or not. It has been years since it happened. King didn’t let anyone get the crown in absence of his son. And when he died, he brought democracy. But magic still out-powers the law. I out-power the law. Now there is a balance between democracy and sorcery."

"Why did you help us?" Fierlo asked.

"Your words grew on me. I can't let everyone die in Great Invasion just because the world was unfair to me."

"This isn’t direction to your house." Fierlo said by looking out of the window.

"But Calajhan's house is." Tadeas smiled.

They rode for the whole night.

Sun had risen by the time the carriage stopped.

Saer stepped out in the sun to see sight of the house which he had seen in the forest.

This time too it was in the middle of forest.

"This is what the Calajhan House looks like?" Fierlo watched the small house.

"Thank you, Mr. Tadeas." Saer shook hand with him.

So did Fierlo.

"I have told Nortze about you two. Push the door and get in." Fierlo said after getting inside the carriage.

They thanked him again and pushed the door to get in.

Tadeas watched the door lock.

A slender man came out of the tree when the two got inside the house.

"I am glad I met you." Tadeas said to the man when he sat near him, "Or I would have never noticed those two killed Hames."

"Your son's killers should die from your own creation." Slender man said.

Tadeas nod with a heavy heart.

"What is inside there?" Thin man asked silent Tadeas.

"Monster family." Sobbed Tadeas, mourning for the death of his son.
