《Powertrip》Chapter 1

The world of Gemini was mostly water with a single continent and islands scattered around it. The continent was shaped like a hollowed triangle with a lake in the middle. There were three main opposing forces, The Demihumans, The Humans, and the Demons. There was also an island in the middle of the lake that lay home to the beings considered gods of the land, however they didn't intervene in their fighting of mortals. In Gemini the beings there could use a power called mana to affect the world around them.
At the very least thats what the mirror said about the world I'm currently in, having made a map with built in GPS I could see I was currently on an island bordering the Demons and Demihumans. Probably not Good considering my race, well I guess I could always change that, it's not like I had any lingering feeling for my race considering my occupation.
" I want a Character editor that let's me change aspects of my self." At the bottom right of my vision I noticed a icon of a man spread eagle. Focusing on it it slowly filled my view until everything went black and a copy of myself appeared in front of me. Next to myself was a entire list of options such as, Apperance, Atributes, Race, Personality and lots more. I got a bit sidetracked and decided to click on appearance first.
It had a menu that was quite familiar to me since I liked video gaming when I wasn't killing people. There were lots of sliding bars that changed who-knows-what. I also reached my hand out and found I could also sculpt my body like it was made of clay. After fucking around for a few hours I found that I , Fucked EVERYTHING. I managed to make it look like a teletubby if they happened to be run over, burned, and deflated. Long story short I was shit at making faces.

"Sigh, what am I to do? GOT IT! I want an AI that is loyal to me and also able to solve all my problems."
"Hello master I'm glad to be working with you."
"Haha don't be cute voice in my head, you can just call me Allen Cross too."
"Understood ma-. Cross. You would like me to assist with designing your body right?"
"Yea I'm not very good at it and thought getting a professional's help would make it easier." With who Allen decided to name Aiko, he managed to easily get the work done.
Standing in front of Allen cross was a handsome man of 190cm(which wasn't that big of an increase since he was already 187cm, his height being an odd number always annoyed him) the man's features were similar to himself yet improved in everyway, he had sharp eyes, thin eyebrows, and a lean body that still some muscle. He had pitch black hair with sky blue eyes.
"Damn you really outdid yourself Aiko, the aura of superiority really radiates out huh? If it wasn't myself I might've kneeled."
"Thank you Master, while I had trouble improving on perfection I think I managed."
*chuckle* "Well ain't you a charmer? And what did I say about calling me Master?"
"I'm sorry for disobeying your orders but I find difficulty in not giving you the respect you command."
"Don't worry about it, if you really wanted to you can keep calling me Master, what else would I expect when I made you with absolute loyalty?"
I guess the next one to change is race. Clicking on the tab it brought me to a long list of races with brief descriptions, clicking on one brought me to a different page that held more information with a button that asked if I wanted to choose that race. Browsing through it for a few hours I slowly started eliminating them. Some of them were easy such as ghosts or goblins but as it went along it got harder to choose who doesn't want to be a demigod? After a hard choice I managed to find one that fit my requirements. High growth potential, strong racial traits, and just general badassness.

Ancestral Vampire- one of the oldest species in Gemini second only to the dragons and false gods. They are considered Royalty by most races. Generally prefering honor and beautiful things, they are generally considered a just race as long as you leave them alone. Some traits are
Blood Suppression- capable of suppressing lesser races with their blood
Blood Manipulation- complete control over their blood they can also change things such as density and shape
Blood magic- unlike most races that absorb mana through either passive or active meditation Vampires instead convert their blood into Mana increasing Spell strength and purity, of course the downside is that they need to take blood from other races to survive
Regeneration- able to heal from every wound with the use of blood.
While there are downsides to them like sunlight and bloodlust, I decided to just consider it a roleplay experience. After choosing my race my avatar grew fangs and also had his eyes turn red with verticals slits. it's aura also turned more cold and noble.
The last one is attributes then, as I click it I'm brought to what looked like a status screen. Unlike the ones you find in games however, this one had just about every stat you could imagine. Since my race was high leveled I had high stats in almost everything. I decided I didn't want to be too overpowered so I only doubled all of them, of course I raised endurance to max so I didn't have to worry about dying. If I need to I can always go back and fix them.
"Alright I think I'm done with the customization so all I gotta do is click confirm." After confirming I felt a drastic change in my body. All my senses were heightened and I felt as light as a feather, the most strange part would probably be the fact I could feel all of the blood in my body, I could also instinctively know how to control them which was... interesting to say the least.
Guess I should start on making a house?

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice. (And if you actually read all of the above, then this story may be for you) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
