The sound of explosions, screams, and horrifying laughs filled the air. Pitch black creatures darted around the battlefield, killing hundreds each time. The bodies were swallowed immediately after by seas of red that grew with each body.

It was chaos, and everybody knew it.

“We have to keep going.” A man made of pure energy said.

“I know. But… what if we fail? We’re just two.” A mage said.

“Three.” A woman said, causing the men to turn around.

The Energetic man nodded at her, and she nodded back. The other man glared at her.

“Anyway, as I was saying-“

“Stop. Listen.”

They did.

Then they looked at each other, and ran.
