《Restarting life as a peasant》Chapter 33

When the time came we had 30 archers, 40 ax shock troops and 40 spearmen. I felt ready, Gezek was sending a hobgoblin to me letting me know he was ready and now he had few hobgoblins, also around 200 goblins. They were ready. I had no communication with Gloria, but my bards brought me news that she made her move. She had 300 soldiers under her. Which was an impressive number. Probably trusting her numbers she moved without waiting for me. Which is more than fine by me. But my bards bring me bad news too, Alfred hired a mercenary group with some fame. The blue eagles. Which had 200 soldiers. The group went to face Gloria’s troops together with Alfred’s his own troops. I send a message to her via one of my bards, telling her not to engage directly with Alfred, gaining time so I can start a rebellion easily while his troops are away.
I from north, Gezek from south and Gloria from west started their moves. Gezek was planning to kill and burn as many villages as possible feeding his goblin horde, growing in numbers and quality. But I just wanted to instigate a rebellion.
The first village was in front of us. A village of around hundred houses. We get in in the middle of the day, the village chef, which meant the chef collaborator of Alfred Herch’s abuses in the village and 2 guardsmen just dropped their weapons and surrendered.
My father started to do what he was told. He gathered villagers. Started his fiery speech. “Listen to me, my children. I am the voice of Altus. The god of wild, hunt and revenge. He heard of your cries, he felt your anger in your hearts, he knows how desperate you become. People like Alfred Herch are a source of evil. They need to die, and we are here for that duty.” Villagers gasp but the members of the cult which learn our target for the first time didn’t even flinch. To them their god will bring the victory so no lord can even challenge them. The Voice continued, “My children, baron Herch broke you with fear. You are like sheep herd who send for their slaughter by a few herdsmen.” He pointed to the three people who were on their knees. He said “Altus, show your force, crush this sinners with your wrath.” I said to my father “try not to be seem surprised in this part.” beforehand. So he waited patiently. I raise the 3 with my mind magic power slowly at the same time. My power grew in time because I constantly used it. I raised them up to 30 meter height. Everybody was surprised. This for them wasn’t magic. Because magic involved projectiles. Not something like this. This for them only can be just work of a god. The collaborators begged, cried and spoiled their pants, but nobody cared.

My father raised his hand and dropped it quickly saying “Crush with your wrath Altus!” I made their fall much faster with my power and I crushed them on the stone floor. Villagers were both relaxed and still fearful. My father pointed to the grain storehouse with his finger, and said to crash the door. The guys with axes run forward and break the door of storhouse. We started giving the food to villagers.
