Spirit Absorption?

The name gave me some idea about it. But I still want to confirm my assumptions.

So in this case, every time you raise your level, you will improve the grade of the martial spirit. So, the long time it takes, is a drawback”

I was shocked as I continued hearing. Drawback? What bullshit? Even if the process is slow, doesn’t it mean I can practically have every martial spirits I wish to have regardless of their grade? If the time it will take is what you call a drawback, I will gladly accept it.

“So you mean to say, I can have all the spirits I want to and make them my own regardless of their grade?”

“Technically yes, If you reach Nature Ascension realm and ascend from being a mortal then you will be able to have as much as spirit you want. But as a mortal, you will have some limitations, If you cross that limit, your body won’t be able to take the burden and it will explode. Now As someone who just awakened his martial spirit, the most you can have is four. And the highest grade you can absorb will be a knight grade. After you reach Muscle Shaping realm, you can take in another one and absorb higher grade than you currently can. Your capacity will rise along with your cultivation level.”

“They are, because the spirit you absorb will not have their original grade as their limitations. They can grow infinitely along with you. It means if you absorb a king grade spirit, it will not stop growing after reaching original grade. It will evolve itself and reach a new level as your cultivation progress.”
