Spirits:

They are spiritual essence of beasts or tools bound to soul when a child is born. As of now there are

1. Dragon Spirit

2. Phoenix Spirit

3. Sword Spirit

4. Attribute spirits (like wind, water, fire, lightning, thunder etc)

5. Plant Spirits (Blue Lotus, Silver Rose etc.) extremely rare type

6. Attribute + Beast Spirit (Ice phoenix, fire phoenix, lightning or fire dragon) very rare type

7. Tool Spirits (Spear, Axe, Blade, Bow etc )

8. Tool + Attribute spirit (Ice spear, fire blade etc) rare type

Some divine beast spirits like phoenix and dragon take potential and rare talents as their successor to show the might once they possessed.

To put it simply, the spirits after ascension to godhood or after death wants show off what they were capable of once, giving a part of their essence to their successors.

Attribute spirits attach themselves when the child shows particular affinity to nature.

Tools spirit are passed through generation. They are passed on to inherit the will of their ancestors.
