Spirits:
They are spiritual essence of beasts or tools bound to soul when a child is born. As of now there are
1. Dragon Spirit
2. Phoenix Spirit
3. Sword Spirit
4. Attribute spirits (like wind, water, fire, lightning, thunder etc)
5. Plant Spirits (Blue Lotus, Silver Rose etc.) extremely rare type
6. Attribute + Beast Spirit (Ice phoenix, fire phoenix, lightning or fire dragon) very rare type
7. Tool Spirits (Spear, Axe, Blade, Bow etc )
8. Tool + Attribute spirit (Ice spear, fire blade etc) rare type
Some divine beast spirits like phoenix and dragon take potential and rare talents as their successor to show the might once they possessed.
To put it simply, the spirits after ascension to godhood or after death wants show off what they were capable of once, giving a part of their essence to their successors.
Attribute spirits attach themselves when the child shows particular affinity to nature.
Tools spirit are passed through generation. They are passed on to inherit the will of their ancestors.
Further things regarding this will be explained as the story progresses.
I shall update the information as story goes on. These are the basic parts to understand for a couple of chapters..............

Exponential Mana Regeneration
When the Change occurred, humanity suddenly found itself with superhuman constitutions and the ability to use mana. All the government leaders had known about it beforehand and had made an announcement, so there was little strife and instead excitement to loot the dungeons that the Change had created. Kyle Anders was incredibly excited when he saw his starting skill, called Exponential Mana Regeneration, but his excitement quickly waned when he realized it was almost useless with his starting mana pool of twenty. He had nearly given up hope on being a mage when his family got him a new skill for his 18th birthday. Suddenly, with his mana pool expanded because of the skill, Kyle’s mana regeneration shot through the roof. But while humanity worked hard to loot dungeons and increase their skills and stats, Change was coming, and peace cannot last forever. The story is currently on haitus. (This story is a work in progress. As the first story that I have ever written, the beginning, especially the first ten chapters or so, needs heavy editing. I have decided to continue writing the story instead of going back and editing the beginning. I hope that despite all its flaws you will still find my story enjoyable.)

Nothing to prove them true except old family stories but what if people just weren't looking in the right place. Old truths no longer apply to the modern age of science but that doesn't stop them. The system that protects and finds these great people still exists and asks the same question it always has. “Do you want more than this life? Want to live… a real life?” YES/NO Who hasn't read Terror Infinity and thought I wonder what upgrades I would choose. I love the Web Novel and Side B. I did change a lot but the basic premise is still the same. Feel free to leave thoughts and suggestions in the comments. This is my first attempt at writing and I haven't done much of it since I left University 13 years ago. This is also more of a hobby than trying to become an author but that doesn't mean I will drop it just don't expect fast releases. I will mainly work on an Arc and post the arc's chapters in groups when I finish a whole arc. Kinda like Side B used to be.

The world is great and so much remains shrouded in darkness. We can stand on the shoreline and see the outline far in the distance but too often we fail to grasp what goes on. We limit ourself to our immediate surrounding and claim our small piece of land to be the center of it all. A king meets his end so it falls upon the son to wield the power of the crown. Historical fiction - The world has the same principal rules as our own but from the perspective of culture/technology/and more its different. Multiple Lead Characters - With time more characters will become relevant so you will experience this world from different vantage points but it's all connected and with purpose. Drama - True depth to a story rests in the arms of character you grow to love or hate, their humanity. Drama is an inevitable feature of humanity so if i succeed in creating fictional humans then drama will surely follow. Action - Place one human in the same room as another and you'll eventually witness action. Action with all the blood and pain associated will it is a natural extension of the human experience.
