Los días seguían pasando y por suerte la tormenta poco a poco se alejaba en el horizonte junto con las resacas de los marinos y las penas de los grumetes.
"La lluvia está siendo cada vez menos intensa parece que finalmente va a parar de llover esta noche!!", gritó el vigía algo emocionado mirando el cielo cubierto de nubes.
"Ya era hora, dos semanas navegando con tormenta es demasiado para cualquier alma" Dijo el timonel con algo de resaca
"Al menos no murió nadie, hubo días en donde las olas parecía que iban a voltear nuestro barco , corrimos con suerte" Dijo Ron tirando un suspiro
"Eso hay que verlo, 2 semanas sin estrellas ni sol complican las cosas, hay que ver que tanto nos desviamos de la ruta segura" Respondió el timonel mientras daba algunas órdenes
"Estamos en peligro? " Preguntó Ron
"Peligro? Capas un poco haya, pero generalmente estas rutas seguras se arman considerando este tipo de tormentas ... pero uno nunca se sabe" Dijo el timonel mirando el cielo algo expectante "Lo que sí es seguro que capas nos atrasamos algún que otro día"
"Bueno... Sea como sea esto tenemos que celebrarlo" Dijo Ron "Los muchachos tienen la moral por el piso , creo que se habían acostumbrado a los meses sin problemas en el inicio del viaje"
La mayoría de marineros estaba feliz al enterarse de que finalmente la tortura estaba por terminar, pero probablemente no hubiera nadie más feliz en este momento que nuestros queridos grumetes los cuales se encontraban en la cocina preparando la comida.
Aunque ninguno de los dos sabía cocinar muy bien parecería ser que lo que dijo el cocinero era cierto y la mayoría de marineros no tiene papilas gustativas.
Ricardo se encontraba cortando un pulpo grande que los marineros descubrieron arriba de la cubierta luego de la peor parte de la tormenta .

Por su parte Lucas se encontraba preparando algunas verduras , por suerte para él su físico había mejorado anormalmente rápido desde que llegó al barco.
A estas alturas probablemente nadie sé imaginaría que el joven musculoso que tenemos al frente estaba raquítico hace un mes y medio, pero por desgracia para su aspecto los dientes faltantes no podían volver a crecer y la edad siempre corría para adelante despachando poco a poco sus días de juventud.
"Ehy!! Lucas te enteraste, se acabaron los vómitos" Dijo Ricardo algo emocionado
"Que suerte...." Dijo Lucas con tono apagado
A Ricardo no le sorprendió el tono algo apagado de Lucas, poco a poco fue aprendiendo que su compañero de trabajo generalmente andaba deprimido por la vida y eran pocos los momentos en los cuales podía sacarle una sonrisa con alguna que otra broma.
Pero tampoco sintió que fuera raro al fin al cabo venía de un naufragio de manera que todos sus antiguos amigos habían muerto, capas necesitaba más tiempo para procesarlo todo.
"Y cuéntame a qué te dedicabas en la iglesia?", preguntó Ricardo intentando animar un poco la atmósfera de la cocina
