"BANG BANG BANG BANG*
*BANG BANG*
"OPEN THE DAMNED DOOR!*
1am in an apartment in down town New York, a man woke up with the banging of the door.
"Wait up! Jeez! Can't a man have a nice sleep in this house it is 1am in the morning for Zeus sake!" The man shouted as he approached the door and opened it
A bloodied man that is clearly impatient looked at the newly awoken man. But upon further inspection, it is very noticable that the two men are exactly mirror of each other.
"Oh shut it Umbra. You are not the one that is getting called by the SHIELD to fight the cultist releasing Monsters of Old." The bloodied man said as he walked inside the room and headed straight to the bathroom
"Gahaha! Phew. It is your fault for signing yourself with those guys. Why in the world would the all mighty Hercules get caught by a bunch of Agents in his first day here on the Mortal Realm." Umbra laughed as he remember the predicament of Hercules
"What's the opponent this time by the way, it is getting boring here in new york." Umbra said as he opened the fridge and took an apple
"It is a bunch of cultist calling themselves Exemplars. According to the information extracted from the captured members, there are these Eight powerful individual that are giving them these information." Hercules shouted from the bath
"I probably know what the deal is with that Exenplar Cult, and I am telling you it would be quite the task even for you Hercules. There are only a few evil groups with 8 members and if you they are who I think they are, you would have wuite a bad time even for your strength. If you ever meet them, tell them that Umbra says hi. By the way what was the response of Nick?" Umbra asked as he opened up his phone to see his emails

"Well, he can't be bother by it. He currently have his hands full due to the fact that Tony Stark is missing. He is busy searching for the man since he promised Howard to protect him." Hercules said as he get some food from the fridge
"Are you not bothered that Tony is missing? I mean, if I remember correctly, you are one of his few friends." Umbra inquired as he opened a site called New Olympus
"Nahh, I believe that Mortal. I know he will return. He is a Mortal gifted with such a brilliant mind. There is no way that he would lose just like that. If Tony isn't back here by this month, I will personally go to Afghanistan to search for him. So how's it going with the New Olympus by the way." Hercules said as hee sat down to watch TV
"Well, Namor has been doing fine. He is doing great as the New Head Priest of the Olympus. Neptune was particularly happy that I gave Namor the position." Umbra said as he continued on scrolling through the news
"You know, some call our religion an cult posing as a religion." Hercules said with a hint of annoyance. "They also say that a religion shouldn't be owning companies. They kept saying that if Olympus is truly a religion, they should give all their wealth to the poor." He followed up
"Let them run their mouths. That is a propaganda of the USA. They are still butthurt about the fact that I moved the Microsoft and Google up there in Canada." Umbra scoffed as he is also a little annoyed by the rumors that are floating in the news aswell
"Why are you even here in New York? I mean Canada is basically the new Rome. Why not just stay there?" Hercules asked as he is wondering why Umbra would be roaming around the world.
"Look here, I established the place you call New Rome and I didn't exactly built that in a day. Do you know how hard it is to built a religion that vanished for a hundred years." Umbra complained in which Hercules can nod in understanding since he know the full story in the creation of New Olympus

"The point is I know everything about that place and it bores me. I held the position of head priest for a who knows how long and I grew tired of it. I am tired with the quests and since I already finished it, I am now enjoying things in my own pace." Umbra continued before walking to the sofa and watch the news
"Yesterday a famous stuntman Johny Blazed was reported missing. The management that handles the supposedly missing star believes that the stuntman was kidnapped." A news article stated which caught the attention of Umbra.
"Another news is that just this night, numerous roads across the Texas has been destroyed mysteriously with accounts of men and women seeing a blazing skull figure riding a flaming bike at highspeeds. Bystander suggest that it may be related to a local myth of the state. However the authorities still have no idea who or what caused this bizarre incident which caused hundreds of thousands in monetary damage." The another news article popped up which further made Umbra happy
"Hey Hercules! Thanks for letting me crash into your place for this past week. I am leaving for some adventure, so goodluck performing secret missions for the SHIELD. Oh and by the way, never put too much trust to the SHIELD." Umbra said with a smile before leaving the weary Hercules wondering what Umbra's message was supposed to mean.
.
..
...
..
.
"Hey Sylvie, can you search in the internet where a man named [Barton Blaze]. He was a stunt driver bwfore he died if memory serves me right." Umbra said as he starts eating his chocolate cake while drinking a Chocolate smoothie
*Sure thing Umbra. By the way, thank you for eating chocolate today! Having a taste of chocolate every once in a while really makes me jolly.* a voice answered in the mind of Umbra.
Sylvie is not an AI. She is much better than a mere amalgamation of numbers. Sylvie is a Techno-Symbiote! She is currently the only symbiote here on Earth. She arrived in the 7th Century and was bonded to Umbra since then.
"Well, I have to indulge you sometimes. I mean you helped me so many times already." Umbra replied to the sweet voice of Sylvie whom was his companion for the Past Millenia or so.
Umbra is a clone of Hercules. That is what Zeus expected when he allowed him to live. However he was mistaken. Umbra is much more than a clone of Hercules. He is Hero of Olympus and he was never following the footsteps of Hercules since the first day he arrived in this universe.
*Oh. I found it already. He is buried at Cemetery at Texas. Why are you searching for this dead man by the way?* Sylvie reported which prompted for Umbra to quicken his eating.
"Hehehe, you do know that I have certain visions right?" Umbra stated with amusement
*MmmHmm! That's right! How else can you explain you making decisions throughtout the years. Your investment are way too successful. You bought stocks from Apple, Amazon, Google, Oscorp, Stark Industries and Microsoft which all turned out to be massively succesful.* Sylvie outbursted which amused Umbra further
"Well, there is more to these visions than investing. It allowed me to know many things that you wouldn't expect." Umbra said mysteriously as he finished every food he ordered and rode his Black Van
"Sylvie, can you pretty please drive for me as I eat our breakfast. I want to arrive to that grave before the sun rises up." Umbra said before moving to the back of the Ford Mustang and opening a briefcase which surprisingly leads magically to a huge space.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
