《Beyond Time and Space》Chapter 20: A Mighty Enemy

After opening the 150 chests, Liam stored all the equipment in the inventory and the skills books that did not interest him.
On the bed were 3 scrolls, 5 skill books and 2 mysterious Core.
These 3 scrolls were all that came out of the chests. He had not worn any yet. Once he removed the red strip, there was no turning back, so he has not identified them yet. Surprisingly, there were only 1 of those scrolls that Genex was able to identify.
.....
Ancient Scroll: Empty.
Effect: Clear a skill on your skill list.
Cost: 100 MP
Uses: 1
Restriction: The 'Empty' effect affects the same user only 10 times.
.....
"This is an even rarer parchment to emerge than the wish scrolls." Genex reported.
Liam let out a cold sigh.
"I can understand why. The scroll of desire, though very good, is not omnipotent. He only grants a skill, item, or even a parchment that already exists and does not have an owner."
Genex had already explained to him, based on the information provided by the Order of the Gods, how the Scroll of Wish and Fate worked.
"Already this... It's like a glass of water in the desert... anyone with good sense will want to change their skill once they get stronger, even more so with this restriction of only 10 skills..." Liam's lips they bowed in a smile.
A shameless plan formed in his head.
At that moment, Lucas invaded Liam's room all revolted.
"That's not fair!"
"What happened?"
"I was mistaken!"
Liam was confused by the drama of his little brother.
"Take a deep breath, calm down and explain to me right..."
Lucas nodded. Ten minutes later, he was finally ready to talk.
"I increased my level and would continue until I was bored, but by the time I reached level 99, I could not even level."
Liam's eyes widened in surprise. He thought for a moment before finding an explanation.

"In some games, there is a limit to level, but... this is not the case here, since I received a weapon with level 150 requirement. In some games, sometimes there is some kind of requirement to reach level 100, 1000, and so on... Genex, is that the case here?"
"Yes. When an awakened person reaches level 99, to level up and reach level 100, their 5 attributes must be 100 or more, one of which must be 500 or more. The awakened person is going through a metamorphosis. He will become a Transcendent. The same goes at level 999 to 1000. Attributes should be 1000 or higher and one of them should be 5.000.”
At Genex's words, Lucas sighed in relief.
"So that's easy. Luckily I had activated all the titles I won and that increased the attributes when leveling. I have not even distributed any of my free points yet."
"I advise you not to go beyond level 999." Genex reported as soon as Lucas was about to distribute the free points.
The boy stopped and stared at the confused orb.
"Why?"
"The greater the Vitality, the slower the user will grow old. The effects arise when Vitality reaches 1000. You will age 1 year slower than a normal person for every thousand points."
Lucas's shoulders fell.
"Since I do not want to look like a child forever, I'll have to wait until I'm 18 before I become the ruler of the universe..."
Receiving this information from Genex, Liam decided to be more careful in distributing his free points and at the same time ignored Lucas's childish grunt.
For safety, he picked up his cell phone and sent messages to Leon, Luana, Marcus, Jessica and Paul telling them about the requirements to reach level 100 and 1000 and ask for more detailed information for their orbs.
Lucas returned to his room and rose to level 999. He deactivated any title in advance with an effect of increasing his Vitality and changed them to those who increased the other attributes.

Lucas would definitely be the most hated person in the multiverse if they uncover the fraud he made want infinite EXP. But of course, he probably was not or will be the only one who will get this done by making a wish.
...
Your mother will probably kill him when he finds out how 'OP' Lucas has become.
He turned his attention to the scrolls.
Currently he had 7 multiplication scrolls. He was 8, but one was wasted trying to use it to multiply another multiplication scroll. Did not work.
Genex has identified the 2 Core. The Purple Core, Spiritual Core, when absorbed, increases by 1000 Skill Points.
Already the milky white Core, Power Core, could only be used by a Transcendent. When used, for 5 hours, the EXP gains are increased by 100%. Once used, the user is not affected by another Power Core for 48 hours. The Core disappears after use.
Already the skills books, they were all from Rank-S. The skills were: Mana Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Metal Manipulation, Space Teleportation and Gravitational Field.
With 7 multiplication scrolls, Liam knew very well what he would do.
Without hesitation, he used one of the scrolls and multiplied the Spiritual Core and thus getting the same amount he got when he multiplied the Soul Core. Then he did the same with the Power Core.
Then he did the same with the other 3 scrolls, or at least tried. Only 2 scrolls was multiplied. The Empty parchment had no limits and this allowed him to get a ridiculous number of them.
Already the second mysterious parchment, this only allowed him to have 7 copies.
And the third, that did not even allow him to make an extra copy.
He did not rush to erase any skills and learn others, not even tried to use the 2 mysterious scrolls. He planned to open all Rank-S, SS, and SSS Chests earlier to be sure of his decision.
"Genex, is there any information about the leader of the demons?" Liam asked lying on the bed.
"Yes. He is known as Demon King. He has already proven the existence of 5 abilities that he possesses. They are: Vital Energy, Mana Soul, Time Manipulation, Blood Manipulation, and Damage Negation."
"..."
Liam nearly vomited blood.
"Only with these 5 skills can he defeat all of humanity with a snap of fingers! That's OP too!"
Vital Energy is the same skill Leon has. This ability has the effect of HP and Infinite Vitality.
Mana Soul is the same ability of Liam that allows MP and Infinite Mental Power.
Time Manipulation allows you to completely control the time. In other words, he is not affected by Liam's ability to stop time.
Blood Manipulation and Damage Negation, do exactly what the name implies.
"Genex, why does not he simply invade the Neutral Dimension?"
"No one above level 999 can enter the Neutral Dimension. The only way for such high-level beings to enter another universe is if all the Black Towers are destroyed."
"Good..." Liam sighed in relief. "What is the level of Demon King?"
"The last time his level was seen was 3.000 years ago. His level was 17.989."
This time, Liam actually vomited blood on the floor of his room.
It took him a few minutes to clean it up.

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound.
