《Incoming Chaos on the Immortal World》Chapter 17 - I'm Chaos! But not really...

Tethra eagerly waited for the Primordial’s answer. He kept guessing which one, but he only knew so little, might as well wait for the answer. The self-proclaimed Primordial seemed to want to make Tethra became nervous too by dragging the answer.
“Come on! Don’t make me tense like this!” Finally, Tethra couldn’t hold it anymore. Hearing this, the self-proclaimed Primordial chuckled a little then finally answered him, with questions.
“Do you know the reason why I came down here?”
“Of course I don’t, I don’t even know who you are... is this even connected to your identity?”
“Obviously...”
“How so?”
“Because I forgot...” Tethra fell down because of this. It seemed like this self-proclaimed Primordial really wanted to play with him, or that he really forgot.
“Are you sure that you forget it?”
“Obviously no... How can I forget my identity...” The sound now sounded scolding but still held that gentle quality before. Tethra felt speechless again after hearing this self-proclaimed Primordial answer. This was obviously playing with me! Seeing Tethra’s fury, the self-proclaimed Primordial didn’t dare to play with him again.
“Fine, fine! I’m Chaos...” Hearing that eased Tethra’s anger, but after Tethra comprehended the real meaning behind it, he was startled. It’s Chaos! The first amongst the Primordials! The one who created Darkness and Night! The infinite source of energy! The creator of all!
“What? You’re Chaos?! How come you’re here?! You should be at the center of the universes!... Or that’s what the records said”
“Well, It’s a really long story... One day, when we were playing hide and seek-“
“Primordials play hide and seek?!”
“Yea, we were bored, so we usually spent our time playing hide and seek in the multiverse. Anyway, when it was my turn the one being sought by the others-“
“And the variant one too?!”
“Well, we have to make it like that, the universes are wide you know. So, when I was on my way to one of the worlds in one of the universes I chose, suddenly I got trapped by some kind of law chain. I could break easily chains made by gods, but this time, I couldn’t break it at all.”
Chaos, in the form of a ball of mist, was currently being bound by some kind of ethereal chains. The chains had the aura of Primordials that he was very familiar with. When he turned his sight, he already saw all Primordials standing behind him, maintaining the law chain. He somehow knew that he was hated by the others because of his almost infinite power.

“It’s ok guys, I know....” Chaos was already resigned to Fate, funny that Fate wasn’t one of the Primordials that backstabbed him. After Chaos said that, Physis, the Genesis Primordial, stabbed him with a specially made pocket knife. Physis was the one that orchestrated the whole plan. Physis didn’t like the fact that Chaos could take his job as the Genesis, so he persuaded most of the Primordials to seal Chaos’ consciousness so that they could use his practically infinite power for themselves. Physis knew that Chaos couldn’t be killed, so they could just seal him with their collective power.
In his last effort not to be used by the other Primordials, Chaos exploded himself and his intelligence part made way to the nearest pocket dimension. In that pocket dimension, Chaos saw a normal human that was almost being turned into minced meat. With the last of his consciousness, Chaos pushed the human to one of the worlds while Chaos himself followed the human subconsciously.
“And that was the last thing I know...” Chaos now felt down after remembering the scene where he was being betrayed by his family. Tethra couldn’t comfort people, so he just left Chaos alone to calm down. Tethra was still thinking about the story that was told by Chaos.
As if he suddenly got an enlightenment, Tethra muttered, “so the thing that rushed inside my book was Chaos... and the ethereal chains was the law that was binding Chaos but got carried here...” Feeling curious about some explanations he wasn’t able to gain from the story, Tethra asked another question to Chaos.
“Then, why did my book suddenly was able to enhance me?” This is the most confusing part of the story. Tethra couldn’t figure out why the book that was bound by law chains could produce this much power.
“Well, the chains was only binding me, not your book... and because I was inside your book, it got radiated by bits of my Chaos power, the power that created all, and was able to enhance you.”
“So that’s it... then, how come statues and carvings were able to give me power?”
“That... I was curious too. I thought I would be sealed forever, but the power that entered the book helped me destroying one of the chains. That’s why I just talked now”

“Truly a mysterious power!”
“Well, maybe we will get some clues after getting more of them, let’s just get out of this place first...”
“I’m out of an idea, do you know any way to leave this place?” Placing his last hope to the almighty Primordial, Tethra gravely asked.
“If I have even a hundredth of my power, I would be able to tear open space to the outside, but now the only thing I retained was my intelligence so, I can’t do it...” that statement shattered Tethra’s last hope of leaving this place.
“But there’s a hole there behind the statue, so you will be able to go out easily from there.”
“Why didn’t you say so earlieeeerrr??!!!” As Tethra shouted his annoyance to Chaos, he really found a hole behind the statue. Without hesitating, he jumped inside the hole. It was actually a slide! The slide leads him down, up, left, right, and there were even spins. At the end of the slide, a tear appeared and Tethra smoothly entered the space tear. Falling to his butt, Tethra found himself sitting in front of a tree near the cliff where Orpheus statue lied.
At the same time, Xiong Ba arrived near the cliff and saw Tethra fell.
“Hey, did you just treeped yourself?” Xiong Ba gently asked Tethra while lending a hand, ignorant that Tethra was the one he was searching.
“Yes, thank you!” The unobservant Tethra, of course, wouldn’t notice the pun inside Xiong Ba’s words and just took Xiong Ba’s hand to stand up. Xiong Ba got surprised by Tethra’s lack of response, usually, people got speechless after hearing his pun for the first time, and Tethra clearly was a new face here. New face? Xiong Ba remembered his goal here.
“So, are you the one that has bin rude here?” Xiong Ba tested the water to see if Tethra was the one.
“Hey! I was never rude to people! Don’t slander me!”
“So what if I slender you!” Seeing that the conversation wouldn’t advance in any way, Xiong Ba just took out a big axe.
“It’s useless to axe you a question! Let’s just duel!” Xiong Ba jumped back to further their distance and raised his battle axe high. The battle axe is very big that even with Xiong Ba’s stature, the axe still had the same height as him, around 1,9 meters.
“Wait, wait, wait, I still don’t know the rule of the sect! Are we allowed to duel as we want?!” Remembering the words of his grandpa, Tethra tried to solve the problem with soft method first. He also didn’t want to get expelled right away, he hadn’t made that many original Runic Works from the Rune Faculty yet! The people from the Rune Faculty would surely get mad if they ever heard Tethra’s thought.
“Don’t worry, I will bear the guilt for both of us!” With his bear-like body, Xiong Ba’s running speed was certainly surprising. Closing the distance of 10 meters in one second, Tethra was left with no choice. He also didn’t get the chance to try this new incantation earlier and the battle seemed perfect for it.
“Achilles!” Tethra met Xiong Ba’s axe head on with his backhand. He wanted to try how much resilience he gained from the enhancement. Watching Tethra tried to meet with his axe bare-handed, Xiong Ba was startled and tried to stop, but alas the distance between them was too small so Xiong Ba failed to stop his advance. “Puchi” Not the sound of cutting limb could be heard, but that was not a matter anymore because Tethra was sent flying by Xiong Ba’s strength. “Crash”
Tethra’s back hit a tree. He got sent back just after one clash! Tethra already felt the difference in strength between them was very big. Even though his preparation wasn’t fully complete, he could tell that even if he fully defended, he would still be forced back. Don’t even mention if Xiong Ba was holding back. A wound neither deep nor shallow also appeared on the back of Tethra’s right hand. After noticing that his weapon resilience couldn’t take the axe’s sharpness, he finally got stressed about this battle.
“His strength is not enough, even his weapon is strong! Aren’t you bullying me too much??!!”

Rise for the Sky [Slow-Pace Multi-Lead Dungeon Crawler]
Sixty people have awoken at the bottom of a one hundred floor dungeon. Together they must confront the terror of monsters and seek the answers to why they are here. Expectations: This story is written from multiple perspectives, male and female. Most chapters are a single person, but there will be chapters where there are a couple of quick scenes with different people. The story does take place in a dungeon, but there is no leveling system. This a realistic take on the classic litRPG and iskai tropes written like a traditional novel. There is a profanity warning because I wish to be natural with how people talk and cursing is a thing people do. So it will happen where it makes sense. Gore is warned because this is a realistic take, and people will be torn apart by monsters. I don't plan to be overly detailed with it but be warned it will happen. Updates Every Monday. Chapters will be between 3,000 to 5,000 words. Fulfill Patreon goals to increase updates

8 196Meg The Heavenly Merchant
Updates once a week.(This is a rough draft) Author's Note: This story has grown in ways I did not predict and while it still features a merchant those aspects have gotten less page time than the fighting and romance elements. I have updated the description to represent the story better) For the past fourteen years Meg has dedicated herself to walking the path of a Heavenly Dragon Knight in her favorite videogame, Tattered Realms:Chaos Age. But now the game is shutting down and everyone wants to know what she plans to do for the sequel. Meg isn't sure at first. She knows only that she yearns for the days when she could lose herself in a game without worrying about boss strategies and crushing her rivals. And when her friend suggests playing a merchant her heart is filled with the same wanderlust and inspiration that launched her gaming career in the first place. But if she isn't dominating dungeons and setting records will people still watch her play? And can she really walk away from all the fighting for a quiet life of buying and selling?
