The ascension of Arlons, Deity of Smithing and Weapons!

Arlons, just a boy at the time felt a special connection to the anvil. His father a blacksmith, his mother a tavern owner in a time where it all began. At age four he first struck the hot iron with a hammer, at age ten he took over his fathers shop.

The weapons he made were called legends. Many a knight travelled across the world to buy one, many a blacksmith travelled across the world to learn from him. But Arlons never became a teacher. Instead, he just kept striking the white-hot iron until it turned into yet another legend, and another, and another, and so on. His life was simple.

Then one day they appeared before him, the Deities of War, Combat and Murder. All demanded weapons more legendary and powerful than any he had ever made before. So he began. He searched the most dangerous places for the best materials. He formed pure mana into metal, stole the scales of dragons and cut the wood off of ancient, magical world trees. In the end, the weapons he made were beautiful. The deities that demanded them cried at their sight and declared Arlons the Deity of Smithing and of Weapons.

Since that day Arlons has been striking away in the Other World, making weapons for only those worthy enough of his work, be they deity or mortal!
