《Adventuring In A Unique Xianxia Universe》Second Appearance

Before the cousin's eyes, a blue light flashed, causing them to blink and look stupefy the next second. In Xiao Kungyun's hands was a beautiful red crystal orb and a scroll.
But the thing was, there was no reaching into their pockets or pulling out any bags that would get used for storage. No, it just floated into space out of thin air!
For Andrea, even she could admit that it was a damn good magic show.
'I've always been interested in the supernatural, but to think I could witness things popping into the air now!' Luke thought, but his musing got cut short as Xiao Kungyun's pompous voice spoke to them again.
"Take it one valuable red crystal bead and a general cultivation guide; these two are all yours—no need to thank me. I can already tell the gratitude in your eyes. Farewell!" Xiao Kungyun shoved the red crystal orb and scroll in his hand as he began to promptly turn away and walk with Elder Moshan in a specific direction.
He, of course, felt highly amuse and some sort of strange satisfaction of poorer people look at him in awe, but before he got a fair distance away, Luke voiced called out to him for a single question.
"Before you go, do you know the nearest town here!" And without turning around, he pointed the opposite direction from where he and Elder Moshan was walking telling the cousins,
"Keep walking that way, and you'll encounter Cyan Forest Town. Farewell again!" Xiao Kungyun concluded and promptly set off again Elder Moshan still in toe with him.
Now alone with each other again, Luke and Andrea only had one blazing question in their minds. What kind of weirdo was that?!
"Seriously, are we just ballbusting lucky that we encounter some dude that grants us money and a guide to gain power? Or have we hit our head in that cave? I thought you said people are far crueler here, Luke." Andrea stated as she had her hand on her head, shaking it as these recent events replayed over and over in her mind.
"You got me. I mean, I remember clearly that someone like that guy would surely just disdain us and ignore us though it's not like we weren't in a dangerous situation. Pretty sure that guy would've made us play his little games anyways and not even care if we die or not. Maybe he just hit his head when he was younger? Either way, it's still all too strange."
"Um...that's probably mostly because of me." Suddenly out of nowhere, a familiar young girl's voice blared in Luke's mind as he instantly jumped up with a startling fright!
"WHO-WHE-...wait in my head?"
"Luke?! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"Maybe because it's that Spooky finally talked to him." And just like with Luke, Andrea's blood ran cold as she heard an eerily familiar voice blaring around her head.
"A-You knows what I should be surprised, but at this point, fuck it. Now I got voices in my head."
"Andy? You hear something similar to me too? Ah! It's probably those ghosts girls again!" Luke guessed, his mind worked to a fast conclusion. Reasonably he imagined them as their voice imparted on to him before his death, and they were the only other people they had interacted with before their untimely end.
"Yep...it is I Spooky. Well first get us to some privacy, I prefer darker places." The ghost girl name Spooky spoke to him again, and Luke called to Andrea saying,

"Ok, Andy, let's head back to that cave one more time, I finally think we have some sort of guide for this place."
"You too, huh? This ghost girl told me too to go somewhere private." And because they really haven't walked that far from the cave, the cousin duo swiftly arrived back and picked up the same boulder to use it as a closing.
"I will always be surprised at just how strong we are now. Not even those top bodybuilders could lift weight like that boulder!" Luke commented while sitting down, not noticing his hand holding on to the axe was glowing a deep shade of dark blue.
"And thankfully, we don't have those ugly bulging muscles to achieve this feat. That would just make this situation even all the shittier for me." Andrea jested while sitting down; she also did not notice her hand on the sword was glowing a dark black color.
"So, are you ready for our first formal meeting?" Spooky rhetorically asked, and finally, Luke notice his hand and the axe shimmering blue!
"Coming out now." The black ghost girl said in Andrea's mind, and similarly, her hand and sword dazzle with a dark black light!
Luke and Andrea were too stunned to speak and after only a quick second,
'Swish!'
Two flashes and out before the cousins' small eyes were the very same ghosts girls that drove them to death. The blue and black ghosts hovered above them with Spooky still having a smile while the black hair ghost was indescribable with that robe hood on.
Luke and Andrea felt an influx of emotions staring back at them and weren't quite sure what to say now. Thanks for making us commit suicide? Thanks for helping us kill that bear beast?
But apparently Spooky neither did the black hair ghost notice the cousin mix of emotions as Spooky spoke up first with,
"So uh guess we should get this out of the way first. Anyways we're bound to your souls for life, and uh, oh! You also hold our curse because of it; specifically, it's because of you humble Luke of why that red hair guy reached out to you."
"W-wha? We're bound for life with you...and we have a curse??" Luke felt aghast from such bombshells of new dropped on them. To be bound with someone that forced your death and then continue with afflicting them with a curse isn't news many can take so lightly.
"S-so what? Is this just some cruel joke by that God in an effort to torment us? Andrea had already gone pale from such news, and the despair in her voice was evident. She as well had a hard time accepting these ghosts, and now they're inflicted with a curse.
"You two are kind of overreacting, huh. Look about that death; nothing can be changed about it now. And the curse isn't bad...well at least mines isn't I guess. Basically, for you Luke, no matter who it was or how powerful they are, they would have an innate liking to you. It was a curse I think I stole from a deity named Hitogami? S-something like that", Spooky held her smile and told the cousins stuttering a bit at the end.
When watching the pair, while Spooky couldn't really say she cared much about Andrea, it was a different matter when she looked at Luke. Seeing his aghast sad expression caused her as well to be a bit sad and sorry for him. It was an odd new feeling for her as she never felt this way for years for anyone.

The black hair ghost was the opposite as she didn't care much about Luke but felt sad and sorry for Andrea. It was something she nor Spooky could honestly understand, but they had far more control of their expression and emotions because of their many years of existence.
'Must be because I'm connected to his soul hmmm...' Spooky thought while Luke and Andrea calmed themselves down, hearing Spooky words.
Indeed she had a point in there no use in still holding on to this big regret now. Nothing can come from it, but it still didn't mean they can readily accept the ghosts now. Though when hearing Spooky explain the curse in detail, Luke did perk up a bit and had to ask,
"S-so I'm practically at least a likable magnet? I guess that's good, but even so, that guy was far too, how should I say it, kind?"
"Oh, that's probably because of the guy who reincarnated you doing. From what I can sense this universe majorly differ from any thoughts you may have about it. I guess his words of it won't be easy to get killed in here is somewhat true." Spooky stated, and her words did hold some merit to Luke.
While, of course, they still couldn't take this universe lightly at all, this did mean it probably won't be all bad hopefully. Though Andrea suddenly looked up at Spooky some paleness still on her face but spoke up,
"You sure seem to know more than us. Well, before we move on, what about my curse?"
"A disliking intimidating fear curse. If I turned my curse on, people would want to avoid you or become intimidated by you. Got it from someone name Orsted I think. Spooky turned hers on." This time the black hair ghost was quick to answer Andrea. Looking at the black hair ghost, Andrea realized something and told her,
"Hey, since we know her name, what's your anyways?"
"Um, call me Yurei," Yurei stated, and for Luke and Andrea, they were thinking, isn't that too on the nose? Unaware of the two thoughts Spooky had remembered what else she wanted to talk about saying to the cousin,
"Right that uh, cultivation guide. We can help you two with this kind of stuff. What does the guide tell you anyway?" Prompted by Spooky, Luke unravels the scroll, which surprised him a bit. There four titles there with minimal description, but everything got written in English?
"How convenient for us once again that this guide isn't written in like ancient Chinese writing. Well, for the first realm, it's called the Elementary Spirit Condensation realm just like that Xiao guy said we was in. Apparently, we need to absorb this essence energy and transform our veins into Martial Profound veins. Then open up ten entrances in our veins to reach the peak of this realm. For now, let's just worry about this level and read the other later." Luke explained as he carefully read over the description to the others.
"I mean that's great we got some information and all but still how the hell do we absorb this stuff? And for that matter going from that Xiao guy, how the hell did we get to the third level of this realm." Andrea question as this was the first hurdle they have to cross now.
"Well, you know these aren't even your original bodies, right? Think that God created two people exactly like you in looks, but anyways, when we got into these bodies, our combined souls must've jump-started something in it. Immediately those 'veins' as you called it repaired itself, and essence energy just went inside your bodies. It stopped when you woke up, but Yurei and I got the basic idea of how to absorb it," Spooky told them that Luke and Andrea realized another crucial fact.
They were born in trash bodies! The veins repairing itself means they would've been a waste if it wasn't for their mighty soul!
"God and here I thought we weren't common trash for once in our lives. Haah, well, how are you going to do this absorbing process anyways?" Luke sighed in resignation, something Andrea did too and asked Spooky.
Once again, the ghost girls didn't like seeing these two being so sad in the dumps all the time. Ever since they first met in the mansion until now, these two still didn't crack a smile, so Spooky and Yurei made up their minds.
"We'll do it like this!" They said in unison, and Spooky flew into Luke's body while Yurei went inside Andrea. At first, Luke and Andrea felt no different besides feeling strangely more comfortable with the ghosts girls inside them, but immediately it all soon change.
Their eyes open wide, and their mouth dropped open as they felt something that they couldn't put into words. It was like sinking in a warm, fluffy soft bed that, at the same time, applied a temperature that was just right.
Luke didn't take long to connect two to two together and realized this was the so-called essence energy! Thanks to Spooky, he was able to feel out and sense this wondrous energy by merely focusing on this sensation in his mind.
And inside his body, he also felt evident changes to it, feeling a fresh rush of energy spread throughout it. Concentrating a bit more, he notices one particular point in his body was sucking up more energy than the rest.
Thinking this was one of those Martial Profound entrances, he focuses all the energy coming to him to that single point. Andrea was in the same sensation and process as she just as quickly picked up on the single point needing more energy.
And after only merely a few minutes,
'Ka-Cha!'
To Luke, it sounded like glass breaking as this specific spot in his veins burst open, sending out a rush of powerful energy! Luke felt energized, stronger, and lighter from this one breakthrough. It wasn't anything like he ever felt before, and unknowingly this rush made him break a small smile.
He didn't even realize it, but during this process, he had closed his eyes and flinging them back open he could tell Andrea was also feeling the freshness of breaking through.
"That was on another level! How are you feeling, Andy?"
"Kind of like I just had a small orgasm; I suppose this cultivation stuff isn't so bad. Hey Yurei, Spooky, can you guys help us out with this stuff all the time?" Andrea unashamedly explained how she felt, and Luke was inclined to agree finding her words amusing. And with a flash, Spooky and Yurei appeared before the two cousins again as Spooky said,
"Yep, as long as it's this, it's no problem. Though I recommend you guys get something to eat and sleep before doing this again, I think you'll achieve a better result then. Plus, the essence energy over here is shallow."
"A quiet bed would be nice..." Yurei also remarked, and Luke and Andrea could admit they were quite famished. After all, from their death until now, they still haven't eaten, plus they also had just engaged in an adrenaline-pumping fight.
With a nod, Luke and Andrea stood up, stretching out their bones, making it pop. Though a sudden question enter Luke mind as he asked,
"Hey, speaking off, just how powerful are you two?" Now for the first time, the ghosts girls gained a slight mischievous smirk as Spooky told him,
"More powerful than most people who called themselves Gods can ever imagine~." And immediately after, Spooky swooped into Luke's body while Yurei dived into Andrea's body.
"They look so young, but I can tell they're pretty crafty. No matter, let's get going to that Cyan Forest Town. Spooky right, I much rather cultivate there than here. And because of that curse, I'm sure we really won't encounter much trouble." Andrea shook her head, picking up her sword and walked to the boulder.
"Well then looks like now it's our official start on this long journey, eh?" Luke said as he and Andrea effortlessly moved the boulder, walking out to the lushes forest.
They clutched their weapons and took one quick sniff of the gentle aroma, before heading off to the direction Xiao Kungyun pointed them too.
