《Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends》The First Letter

Sir Tom,
When you asked me what it was like to join the Venatori, I didn’t know what to say. It’s a very long story. The order itself is ancient. No one even knows its real origins or the history of why the Achaeans needed an order dedicated to monster hunting. Monsters must have been a lot more common in the past. I guess especially those that are sensitive to silver, which isn’t all of them. Did you know that? There are so many different ways to fight different kinds of monsters. The bestiary from Illikon should help me learn more about that.
Joining the Venatori intimidated me. Or Venators, as a lot of people call them, although I’ve been told that’s technically improper. Anyway, every Venator has to undergo a lot of training and be taught extensively about potions and different kinds of metals and materials for weapons. We even get some runestones. I always thought magic was just a story.
We didn’t just train. We had to get our bodies used to potions. Most all potions either sicken or, more often, poison and kill anyone who drinks them. That makes Venatori very unique, but a lot of people essentially call us freaks. Remember what we talked about in the swamp? It tends to go like that.
It was not long after I joined the Venatori that I met Caiden. He’s still a mystery to me. Then again, so are most of the things we hunt. Sometimes I feel sorry for them. Some of them. Most of them, though, just want to kill, and they can’t be trusted.
I look forward to telling you more about some of our adventures. Caiden and I have been on a few hunts together now, several before we met you. Every time we hunt anything, though, I always wonder what Caiden is thinking. You probably noticed he’s not as talkative as you are.
Your friend,
Gwen Vergil

The Featherlight Transmission
In the ancient desert metropolis of Wellspring City, magic is dead, and technology reigns supreme. Baulric Featherlight, one of thousands of street mages for hire, is summoned by the City Watch to assist with a particularly grisly murder - the deed was done by a rogue mage, and the fanatical Dynamic Brotherhood will have every arcanist in the city pay for it. The killer continues carving a line of death throughout all twenty sectors of the city, and anti-magic sentiment begins to rise. Will Featherlight's singular skills be enough to hunt down this elusive killer? Or will fear and old hatreds finally tear Wellspring City apart? (Cover art by the inestimable UncertaintyCrossing. You can find more of his enchanting works here.) hi! im the guy that wrote this story. i hope you like reading it. im bad at elevator pitches ^ and honestly, it's a little misleading. it's really just a detective noir with a few extras. if you like detective stories, this is a good one. it's got robots and magic and stuff too. have fun! (obligatory extra note: im an internet busker who subsists on the generosity of readers like you. if you haven't done your good deed for the day and you think my work is worth paying for, why not tip some spare change into my hat? i'd be awful appreciative ♥) [premium game of the year DLC edition edit: if you've read the whole thing for free and want to buy a copy for yourself, this dang ol' story is available for purchase on amazon now. it's not super special, but showing your support by buying it would make writing new ones a lot easier. thanks a million billion for reading either way ♥]

A Friendly Shadow
***** NOTICE ***** I'm currently putting this story on hold For all my reader, thanks so much for any comments or just readin in general. But when I was writing his I noticed that my two main characters were starting to act and talk similar in the chapters I haven't posted so I've been taking a break to stop that. Sadly it kept happening and so I've decided to place the story on hold and work on other ones for the time being. ********************************************** Growing up as a fox with the common sense of a human can be hard sometimes, but Aria is determined make it through life. Meeting various people along the way and eventually finding one that will stick with her through thick and thin. Watch as our protagonist walks through a magical world with nothing but four furry paws! Author's Note: Just a heads up! I don't have a regular release schedule for this story. I'm just putting this up so I can see what other's think of my storytelling ability, plus the obvious spelling and grammar. Also if anyone can think of another vague synopsis then don't hesitate post it in the comment section! Other Stories that I have been developing are on my wordpress: https://karounight.wordpress.com/
