As we approach the end of the first volume of The Digidream Chronicles, I have some announcements to make that may be of interest to you, my awesome readers. The most important of which is:

(1) I'll be PUBLISHING the book on Amazon once it's done. Because of Amazon's rules for publishing ebooks, I will have to take down most of the story from RRL when I do so. Only a small part of it will stay up on this site (about 10%), at least for a few months, while the exclusivity period lasts. After that, I may republish it here, but it depends on the circumstances. Don't worry, though: I'll make a new announcement when the publishing date is near so that you all will have time to finish reading the story here, for free! It's the least I can do to thank you for your support, enthusiasm, and patience.

Because of this, other announcements need to be made. They are pretty awesome so keep reading!

(2) The story, as you can read it on Royal Road, is unedited: what we writers call a "first draft". Do you know what I do while I'm not pumping out new chapters? I'm rewriting and expanding the ones that are already written, changing some details, fine tuning the prose, giving a bit more clarity to the story, some additional background... This edited story is what will be published on Amazon. But those of you who are interested in reading it for free will be able to do so as well! Before launching the book, I'll be sending copies of the edited version to all of you who ask for it. Just PM me and I will add you to the list. In the publishing world, this is known as ARC (advanced reading copies), and what's in it for me? Well, maybe nothing: just a way to show you my thankfulness for being there, for reading every chapter as I put them up. But there is a way I can benefit from sending you a free copy of the book: if you want, as soon as it is published, you could go to its Amazon page and leave a review. This helps ebooks writers because it gives visibility to the book. Of course you are not required to leave a review; just consider your ARC a gift, no strings attached.

(3) There will still be another way to show your support, which will help me keep writing these stories. See the donation button down there? Donate $5 and you'll get a free copy of the second book in the saga once it's finished. You'll also be able to download additional copies of the first and second book with alternative covers (the ones I was planning to use but ended up ditching; maybe you'll like them better!). Donate $10 and you'll also be included in the "Acknowledgements" page of the book that comes out immediately after you make your donation. Donate more than $25 and you'll ALSO get to name a character in the third book (limited to the first two donors for that sum).

(4) Once I'm publishing it on Amazon, THE SAGA MIGHT BE RENAMED. Please keep this into account if you'll be following it in RRL but haven't bookmarked it yet. The name of the saga will probably be Anderverse Online, and the first book will be titled either The Game Master or The World Jumper.

(5) Comments and reviews will be welcome and encouraged before, during, and after the transition to Amazon. Those of you who get ARCs may act as my beta readers, pointing out flaws and suggesting changes to the edited book! Please leave your comments and reviews here or send me your thoughts through PM. I'm always happy to hear from my readers.
